Blush Basics:
Natural vs. Pop of Color

There are a few ways to find the best blush shade for creating a natural-looking flush. Choose a shade that complements your bare lip color, or match the shade that naturally appears when you give your cheeks a soft pinch.

Apply Powder Blush to the apples of your cheeks. A soft pink shade (seen here in Desert Pink) is a good option for lighter skin tones with soft pink tones in their lips. For medium skin tones with pink tones in their lips, a pink shade (seen here in Sand Pink) will create a natural-looking flush. A soft coral shade (seen here in Avenue) works well for deeper skin tones with peachy lip tones. Blend with our Blush Brush to enhance the contours of your face. To find a pop of color that lifts and brightens the face, stay in the same color family as your natural flush and go 1-2 shades brighter (Powder Blush seen here in Nectar). A fresh pop of color can be layered with your natural flush color for added dimension. Adding a pop of color is also a great trick for looking less tired.
