I have been using Bobbi Brown lipglosses since I discovered them in 2003. In that time, I have used the following shades:BuffTangerineBright pink(The BEST pink for my warm, latina complexion. I am on my 2nd tube of this)Warm PeachPink BlossomNudeBrownRosySure, the gloss is sticky, but that is what makes it so long lasting. I dont have to retouch my lips for about 4-5 hours when I use Bobbi's lipgloss.I've heard many complain about the brush splaying on the wand, but I 've not experienced that yet.I like the size of the tube, as it makes it quite portable and convenient.Overall, I highly recommend Bobbi Brown lipgloss for women of all ages and skintones.

The tangerine is extremely orange (but doesn't look bad on my pale skin tone). The brush is kind of messy because its bristles spread out after using it a couple times - it's kind of messy to apply and I think it's a little too gloppy for everyday use. It does stay on for quite a while, but this is a product I'd use on top of a lipstick, not by itself.

This was my first purchase from Bobbi Brown and definitely not my last. I wanted to go for a natural look and Bobbi's Nougat 41 lip gloss most certaintly did the trick. Unlike most cosmetic brands this gloss goes on smooth and is not sticky. I topped off my nude lip with a brown liner in Chestnut. Definitely a beauty MUST HAVE!!!!

I have bought the rose sugar for several years now and I love it! Very pretty soft shimmer and makes my lips look like their natural color but much better. This gloss lasts a long time and I try other brands but always go back to BB. It is sticky, so if you don't like sticky gloss you might want to stay away. Also, for the $$ this gloss is pretty small and doesn't last very long. Still, it is my all time favorite. If you like a bit of shimmer, try it!

This lip gloss is amazing. First of all, the brush applicator is genius- I don't know how I ever went without it. Second, the consistency is smooth and creamy without being slippery. The colors are gorgeous and they really last- but even when they start to fade, they fade evenly so you don't end up looking half-done, so to speak. And one tube lasts forever- it seems like I almost never run out- but when I do, it is with pleasure that I purchase a new one- they are so reasonably priced. Bobbi, you've really created the perfect lip gloss.

Bobbi Brown's shimmer lipglosses are just Ok, in my opinion. Nothing really special. None of the colors in this line are flattering to my warm, latina complexion. These colors would probably be better suited to people with cool-toned skin. I purchased Rose Sugar based on its popularity, but sadly it just doesnt work for me.The shimmer in these glosses arent over the top, they are quite wearable. As with all Bobbi Brown glosses, this is sticky, which is a good thing because it lasts much longer on the lips.

This is the best lipgloss on the market, hands down. It stays on for a long time, while creating a moist and glass-smooth cushion for your lips. It's extremely smooth, and I think my favorite thing about Bobbi's original lipgloss is that it doesn't have any shimmer. It can look as natural as you want it to. It also smells fantastic, like "mmmm!!!" it's so good! :-) For those people who get breakouts on their lips from lip products, this does not do that.

Bobbi Brown makes my favorite lipglosses. They are thick, well-pigmented , not sticky and last much longer than the other brands I've tried, and I have tried many. I am a fan of the brush applicator, unlike some, as it is easy to extract from the tube and apply just the right amount of product. This is the best lip gloss. It's not the cheapest but it is worth every penny. It feels great on the lips, has great staying power, moisturizes well, and looks great. I love the colors too; Nude is my current favorite. The Shimmer variety of the lip gloss is also great with beautiful shades.

I have been using the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Lip Gloss for many years. I find it adds the best shimmer to all shades of lipsticks. For summer I simply use a very neutral lip liner and just use the Shimmer Gloss with it. It takes on the hue of the liner and gives my lips a very subtle yet incredibly classy look. The color and shine last for hours and I never leave the house without my two favorite gloss colors which are pink sugar and rose gold.

The color description 'Tangerine' isn't normally one that I would trust to buy for myself, especially online, but since this brand has such a reputation for pulling off colors that look good on everyone, I thought I'd give it a try. The color is lovely on my fair, cool-toned skin, the perfect coral with orange which I can't usually find for my skin tone.It has almost no scent, a plus in my book. I love this lip gloss. It is the perfect consistency and it does not run. You do not need a lip liner either if you don't want to. I cannot give it a 5 star because I think it is too expensive for a little tube. I left one at work one time and used that same one every day and I realized that it only last about 3 weeks, which is about maybe 75 applications, figure that I use it maybe 5 times a day for 15 days. I always buy these when there is a gift set for 3 during christmas... which is a lot cheaper.

I am not a big lip gloss fan; I prefer lipstick because I like to have a longer lasting color. However, I love Bobbi's Rose Shimmer lipgloss. The color looks great over many of the Bobbi Brown lipsticks I own, or on it's own gives a nice little rosy pink glow. The formula doesn't leave you lips dry. It's a thicker gloss (which I prefer) though some may consider slightly "tacky" when first applied. The shimmer is subtle, so if you're looking for lots of glitter, try something else. This give a nice "glow"!

I love the textures of these glosses, they are tacky but not sticky, if that makes sense. They are also very long lasting. The scent is a warm vanilla, love it. My fave colors are Tangerine for summer and Raisin for the cooler months. However, the brush leaves much to be desired. It splays within a few uses, so frustrating and not on par with the usual Bobbi quality packaging.

What I love in particular along with the color range & glossiness others have mentioned is that these are moisturizing enough that I don't need to use a separate balm or chapstick. I usually use them all on their own, however, they are lovely on top of lipstick/liner as well.

Love this gloss and heaven knows I have a drawerful of other brands that I have tried. Like some of them, but LOVE this one. It goes on smooth, has just enough shine, but not too much and has a smooth, silky feel...not at all gluey or tacky. Love the petal shade over top of the Brown lipstick. I have two teeny complaints...sometimes the brush bristles start to fan out and it makes applying and inserting back in the tube tough. Hasn't happened on all of mine, and I own quite a few, so I am wondering if perhaps there needs to be more quality control in that area. Also, it's frustrating to see some gloss left at the bottom of the tube that the brush can't reach. This product is alittle pricey to waste any. I have tried to turn upside down, let stand in warm water etc. to get that last little bit to move up the tube. Maybe a slightly longer brush would work better. Other than that this is a staple in my makeup repetoire.

I love this lip gloss. I have tried all different kinds, and I just keep coming back to these. The colors are really neutral but they look fresh. You can wear them alone for a nude look or you can wear them on top of other lipstick to give your color dimension. They don't taste chemically or overly sweet like some lip glosses. And they stick on your lips for a long time. One drawback is that if you have long hair, it can get stuck on your lips wearing this on a windy day.

I have to push myself on to the glosses b/c I still like the matte like and the creams but I know the glosses are fresh and youthful especially for someone in my age group and they are fun for summer. This one I personally love for this taste. I think it tastes like angel food cake. I am reallly picky about anything that goes on my lips b/c of the taste and this passes w/ flying colors. The staying power of the shine and color beat out any other lip gloss I have every tried. The colors are, for the most part, very sheer with the exception of aubergine and brown. I would recommend trying them on at your local department store first. The best part about this lip gloss is that even hours after applying the gloss it leaves the actual texture of your lips super soft. I even like to think of it as a lip balm/lip gloss two-in-one!

You can't get the remaining color on the bottom or the top. So, when the center portion of the tube is gone - you can't get any more. It is frustrating! And, during this tough economy ... I feel like I can't justify the price if I can't get the entire tube. However, if this doesn't bother you - you will lOVE this lipgloss!!!

I have this love/hate relationship with lip gloss. I love having my lips feel moist, but the fact it doesn't last long is a peeve of mine. Bobbi's lip gloss is awesome. It's not sticky, glides on nicely, makes my lips feel moist and LASTS. I sometimes put one of the lighter colors on at bedtime and it is still on my lips the next morning!

This is not frosty gloss, and it is not sheer gloss. Just like Bobbi's shimmer eyeshadow, this is adds a sophisticated glimmer to full-coverage lip color in a tube. Gloss and shimmer combined. Iced Mauve is my favorite.

First, the good news: this shimmer lip gloss comes in an assortment of great colors. I like to wear the Spun Gold over lipstick and the Rose Sugar on its own. I have some of the older colors as well- Black Pearl and Sand Sugar that are also terrific. Now the bad news - the brush! No matter how carefully I replace it back into the tube, the bristles splay out and I lose the ability to apply it only to my lips. Bobbi used to have a sponge applicator on her glosses but switched to this - probably to improve application. Please, think of something else.

Bobbi's lipglosses are some of my absolute favorites on the market and I have tried MANY lipglosses. They stay put and that's my favorite feature. I personally love a lipgloss that has a thicker and yes even a super sticky texture because I want it to wear as long as possible. The color palette is fabulous too - try some of those colors that look "scary" in the tube - you may be surprised at how wearable they actually are. My only complaints would be the tiny amount for the big price and the somewhat stiff brush that tends to splay. I'm told the splaying is intentional so you can get every last drop of lipgloss out of the tube. At any rate, I'm willing to overlook the flaws because I simply adore the wear and look of these lipglosses. Don't ever change the formula Bobbi and keep those new colors coming!

These are the best lipglosses on the market! They work well alone or over lipstick. The thicker texture is great because it stays on longer. I'm sorry to see that Sand Sugar is not available--it was the PERFECT gold-toned shimmer gloss to brighten up any lipstick or be worn alone--not too yellow, not too beige. Glad I have an extra one in the drawer! (Hope it is brought back into the line.) :) Pink Sugar is great, Kir is great for Fall, and Spun Gold and Rose Gold are good ones alone.

My favorite thing about this lip gloss is the range of colors. They are so soft, pretty, and flattering. Pink Beige is my favorite, as it perfectly complements a dramatic eye. I know that some users find it somewhat sticky, but I love the texture. It actually clings to the lips and doesn't disappear into thin air like some glosses. It has great staying power, particularly when applied after filling the lips in with liner. Also, the subtle vanilla fragrance is great.

Because of the price, I decided to look for a cheaper alternative at MAC. Unfortunately, the MA at MAC could not find a comparable duplicate. She even told me, "If you find something truly unique and you love it, go ahead and splurge." LOVE LOVE LOVE rose sugar! However, I wish the formula was less sticky. The texture is beautiful very comfortable and hydrating and doesn’t leave any white gunk/residue on my lips.The staying power is unreal – it lasts about eight hours through eating and drinking.They have the perfect amount of shine (not too glassy).The shimmer shades are very subtle and I can wear them without looking like a pre-teen.My favourite gloss is “Nude” because it goes with anything and I think it would suit all complexions. I love Pink Sugar! It is not glittery, but bright and shimmery. Sometimes I use it on top of another gloss, and just dab it in the center of my bottom lip -- adds nice dimension and shine. This is one of my absolute favorite products -- I'm about to restock for the third or fourth time! I like the texture of Bobbi Brown glosses -- they are just sticky enough to last longer than the average gloss, but not so sticky that they are uncomfortable or gooey. I don't even notice they're on, until I look in the mirror and realize that my lips look glossy!

I own Mauve and Petal, and they look really pretty. I like gloss over my lip color. There is a slight scent, but it’s pleasant, and though they’re a little thick…that means they stay on longer.I would purchase more colors (certainly Pink Blossom) but I can’t get past the brush. Please fix the applicator. The brush splays, making even application difficult. I have to use my own lip brush to apply.

All the Shimmer glosses are beautiful but I am singling out Rose Sugar Shimmer gloss because it is one of those shades that looks good on most skin tones. I've gone through several tubes of this over the years because I love the color and vanilla scent. I would prefer a doe's foot applicator to the brush because sometimes the brush has splayed over time, but I think the applicator has improved since the first time I bought the gloss six years ago. Be prepared that Shimmer glosses are sticky. The stickiness is part of what makes it last longer, but if you are not used to the feel, and like a smoother texture, you may want to try the creamy lip color which is a smooth, glossy lipstick.

There are many reasons why I really like this product. First of all, the color - it is the muted berry color I should wear - blond, green eyes, medium colored skin (57 yrs old). Also, the brush keeps the amount pulled from the bottle a bit smaller, which means you get only what you need, and it's not sticky-feeling. The color stays well, and this will become one of my mainstay makeup products.

I purchased this gloss in Pink Beige and absolutely love it! I do not like shimmery lip colors and was ecstatic to find that this gloss has zero shimmer. The color is a perfect neutral pink that looks perfect against my very fair skin. It is easy to apply and I find the brush-style applicator to be easier to use and control than other types. This gloss is long-lasting and has the perfect consistency--not sticky yet not too slick. I definitely recommend this product.

Bobbi's glosses are simply the best. No matter what other glosses I try, I always come back to hers. The Nude gloss is my staple ... I wear it almost every day, and it lends itself to a wide variety of looks. The gloss is sticky, but that's what gives it staying power. The texture & color as well as staying power are all here in this fantastic little gloss. Pink Beige, Nude & Brown are my all time favorite staples.And as far as people hating the applicator?, well for me that is actually a plus as I HATE doe foot sponges, with a passion!! I have used this color for years. I find it softens lipstick colors that I would otherwise be unable to wear. I have small lips and cannot wear colors that are too dark and overpowering. Putting it over reds, dark pinks, browns, all make the end result a wearable one. I am never without it. The only thing I do not like is the brush applicator, it eventually twists out of shape. I highly prefer the 'doe foot' applicator used on BB's other lipgloss products; but this color is one I need, so I deal with it. The color is great.

I love this gloss, and the smaller size really doesn't bother me. I can slip it into the smallest of handbags or my pocket and its great.I like the "stickiness" of the product as it helps it to last longer, and I like that as a minimalist.My one concern over this gloss is the brush. You have to be very careful in how you place it back in the tube or it will splay. The best tip was given to me by one of Bobbis artists and she told me to twist the wand as I placed it back in the tube. Works beautifully, but it won't stop me from hoping for a doe foot applicator!

I almost never buy a second of anything, so the fact that I bought a second $20 lip gloss speaks volumes. I bought the first one around 4 years ago and have used it so sparingly so as to preserve it! I always receive compliments when wearing this gloss. I bought this Shimmer lip gloss in the new Golden Nector color. As with all Bobbi's glosses, it has very good staying power for a gloss. But the color and shimmer of this lip gloss is outstanding. It adds just enough color to my face (I wear Sand foundation) if worn alone and looks beautiful over any of her new Coral lipsticks. While it is perfect for spring, it will also look wonderful in summer with some bronzing powder! If you are interested at all in this lip gloss, I was told to get it early, because this may be an early sell out.

I'm not a big fan of lip colour and have not worn lipstick in years. I'm generaly happy with colorless balm. But with spring here and summer around the corner I was itching for a boost. Shimmer Lip Gloss in Golden Nectar looks so sweet on my lips. It glistens and the colour is very natural, prefect for people who are not fans of lipstick. The only reason why I didn't give this product 5 stars is because it is a little too sticky and the applicator brush is not ideal. But I will still buy this product again.

I love the color and coverage of the BB Lip Gloss in Brown. It's your lip color but better. But the brush applicator is terrible. The bristles stick out no matter how careful you are. I'm also not crazy about the scent. I would much prefer it if it had the same minty scent as the Rich Color Gloss.

i have several of these. all the colors are great and pretty mistake proof, although i dont like the brush. its just not usable, so i just dab it on my lips and blend with my finger or i apply with a lip brush. so the bad brush that comes with these is not a deal breaker, but its not a benefit either. i wish they had the 'doe foot' applicater the rich color glosses have...

I have a color that I don't see offered here called Popsicle that was offered in a kit- it's a really pretty pink color that is super bright in the tube, but sheer and rosy on the lips. I love the vanilla smell and taste when I put it on, too. It also has substantial staying power compared to other glosses. The reason for the 3 stars is because I am not a fan of the brush used to apply the gloss- I would much rather have a sponge tipped applicator and the stickiness of it. This is definately not my fave Bobbi product of all time- there are other glosses that I would rather use, but the color and staying power are spot on, so I will finish out this vial. I will probably look elsewhere in the future, though. Sorry, Bobbi

I purchased this in Buff, and at the counter they offered a glitter version so I bought that. The glitter was nice, more like a natural sparkle and more natural than the shimmer glosses in my opinion. I am very fair (alabaster/porcelain) and think this color looks perfect with bronzer for a nice sunny, summery look; I should note that it is a deeper, more peachy kind of shade than the online swatch would indicate. What I didn't like was the stickiness of it - I have long hair, and when I step out of the car and into the breeze, my hair sticks to it and then leaves sticky lines on my sunglasses. But, the plus side of this is that it is truly long-lasting. I would purchase again only for a special occasion where I need the long-wearing aspect (and would have my hair up); otherwise, I prefer a softer, less sticky gloss for daily wear.

Only thing that needs improvement is the brush that tends to splay after a few uses and then it becomes almost impossible to apply. Bobbi's website states "as seen in J.Crew" because these glosses are a favorite of the creative director of J.Crew and I completely agree. All of the colors are beautiful, particulary the shimmer glosses. They are less sticky than other glosses and they last forever on the lips. I've recently picked up Hollywood Red, which is a perfect topping for my new Hollywood Red lipstick! Thank you Bobbi for paying attention to us red lip lovers! **For those who have problems with the brush: If you push the brush straight down into the tube when replacing the cap, the brush will splay. To avoid this, as you are refitting the cap back on, TWIST the brush down into the product, continuing to twist until the cap clicks on tight. The brush will stay perfect until the product runs out.

Bobbi's lip gloss in Nude is the only lip gloss I have purchased over and over....and I even have backups of it in my makeup case. It is hands down the best nude lip gloss I have ever owned, and being a makeup addict I have owned many! After applying it transforms into a gorgeous mauvey/browny/pinky color which is just a tad darker than my natural lips and looks absolutely polished and natural. I feel beautiful and classy when I wear this! It goes with every look I have, day or night and stays on for hours without having to reapply. Yes, the brush can be a bit hard to use, but I find that it helps me to get every last bit of gloss out of the tube which is a definite plus for me.Just about everyone can wear Nude....it is such a versatile and amazing color. And it is a true nude shade, one that actually enhances your natural lip color instead of just "erasing" it.This should be a staple in anyone's cosmetic collection...it's definitely in mine!

I purchased this gloss in Hollywood Red at Saks a few days ago. The color is gorgeous and if one applies enough coats it really looks like red lipstick! However, it is a bit sticky and hard to spread. I find it works best if you prime your lips with Chapstick or Petroleoum Jelly. Many are complaining about the brush but if you twist it as you are putting into the tube you will have no problem with it splitting. The color looks great with my strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin!

LOVE these glosses. I am one of those gloss gals. I never have less than 5 different glosses in my bag and own over 40 from over 10 different brands. I always come back to Bobbi's. Why? The smell, the colors, the application, the staying power. However I have to say...they ARE sticky. That is also a good thing as it makes it last a bit.My one and only problem with these glosses are the price! It's a fairly small tube and you simply cannot get all the gloss out. It's very expensive for such a small amount for a product that needs a re-apply all through the day.

I was surprised when I first went to use both of them, the applicator is a brush, and the brush does not hold its shape (it was fanned out when I first pulled it out to use for the first time). I also felt the container was very small for the price. I like the product overall, but a padlike wand applicator would work so much better, and the price needs to come down or the size of the container/product needs to go up.

I hope that the Scarlet Lip Gloss gets added to the permanent lineup! Sometimes I get limited edition glosses from Bobbi's different collections and fall in love with them only to discover that they were discontinued (Marina Pink 2 is one of the ones that I adored and is no longer available). I drove half an hour out of my way to buy this lip gloss in Scarlet over the holidays because it had sold out at the three different Nordstrom stores near me- I was THAT determined to get it. It's a neutral red and the color is sheer so it doesn't look garish. I imagine that it would look better on women with medium to darker complexions. I wear this one when I go out to dinner or drinks with friends. Please, please Bobbi don't break my heart and discontinue Scarlet too! I'd love to be able to buy this one again and again, it's so hard to find a perfect red gloss!

I recently bought Golden Nectar for the spring and it is a lovely color and formula. It stays on for quite awhile (even through drinking coffee), feels great and is not too sticky. The shimmer gives a nice glow and sheen without looking glittery (which I don't want). The only problem is, as others have mentioned, the wand is a brush rather than a pad/sponge thing, and already is fanning out. The tube is also surprisingly small for the price. I thought it was a sample at first. I know other luxury brands with similiar-priced glosses have bigger tubes. So I'm not sure if it is worth it ... I'll reserve my judgement to see how long the tube lasts.

This lipgloss is the best i have ever tried, and i love it to death, but the applicator wand (the brush), is just to horrible ! The first two times i applied the gloss, the brush seemed fine, but after a little while the bristles started to point in every direction, and made application very difficult ! The same thing happened to the gloss at the counter, so it's not just mine ! It's to bad, that a gloss, so good as this, should be ruined by a brush so bad. But overall, I will repurchase it, whenever i run out! It gives an even flush of color, and does not dry out the lips!

I REALLY adore the shimmer glosses! They are thoroughly beautiful on the lips in every color (How does she do that?!). The formula seems to have a lot in common with the original lip gloss (which I also love) -- unfortunately though that includes the remarkably small container and that infernal wand brush.The shimmer gloss colors are just right to me: Enough pigment to actually color yet sheer enough that there's no fake look. The shimmer quality is also exactly right. It is tasteful and fun and pretty by itself. It's also lovely mixed with other gloss colors and over lipsticks. If it weren't for the nasty brush and the skimpy amount you get for for the price I'd own all of the shimmer glosses. One star off for the packaging. I really wanted to take two because the brush is really indefensible... but the product is so nice I couldn't hold it responsible.PLEASE oh please improve the brush. I actually *do* prefer a brush to the felt-tipped applicators. I'm surprised BB isn't setting the standard for these "right tools" to go with her name's quality product. This company is capable of better than it is giving its customers here. If the glosses get improved I'll buy them again but as it is I've stopped.

This lipgloss lasts on a really long time and the colors are very pretty, but it's too sticky, I would not recommend it if you are going to be kissing someone or eating/drinking. However, for photos and going out it's really nice and I would definitely recommend it.

My Favorite Lip Gloss!

I have three of these lip glosses and love them all! They have a pretty and natural shimmer. They aren't "glittery" and they don't like like "kiddy" makeup, which is great! They are sticky but that helps them stay on well. They also have a very subtle vanilla scent, which is really nice. My favorite colors are rose sugar, pink sugar, and golden nectar. Rose sugar is my staple color (pretty classic pink), pink sugar looks great over my lipstick to soften it (very soft and light pink), and golden nectar is a warm coral (perfect spring and summer color) when I want to brighten my makeup. Love these, Bobbi! They are a makeup staple for me!

This gloss has officially gone over the top. We have been asking for a different applicator? Well, it's HERE. We have been asking for a larger size? It's here too!! My favorite gloss just got even better. Still the great smell, and texture and moisturizer it is known for. Feels great on the lips with a tiny bit of "stick" which gives it staying power.The new applicator is great. Goes on easily, no goop, and no frayed bristles to worry about.

I like the shine. It's pretty. I'm more of a matte lip lover myself at the moment, but this is a nice gloss. It helps keep my lips protected and hydrated. I would prefer a brighter color than buff for me.. it is too neutral for me... I would like the bright pink better. I would recommend this gloss. Pretty and long lasting. With a nice hint of vanilla.

This new gloss is terrific! I am not sure if the formulation is different, for it feels the same as the smaller size. The one I tried was Rose Sugar. This was always a Shimmer Gloss, but I did not see that on this new packaging. I love the color. when I tried this color before with the brush applicator, I returned it, because I did not get enough color pay off. This color is "my lips but better!" The new doe- foot applicator gives me a better coating on my lips, so I can now get a better color pay off! I have now had it on for 3 hours, and it still feels and looks great! It hugs my lips in a great way! I love the bigger tube. I did not think I would like the new applicator, but I love it! Another hit Bobbi! Love you and your whole collection! You are all I need for a perfect polished look every season!

If you love Bobbi's lip gloss, you will love this gloss. Compared to the old formula, this one feels more creamy and less sticky on. Although I prefer brush applicator to sponge, this applicator does pull out less gloss than the old applicator. The color I have is buff, it is 'your lip color but better' color. It does not have a smell like some other brands, and it is almost twice the size. This gloss also does not bleed out of your lip line. I normally do not use a lipliner when I reapply out and about and it is fine. Love it, and if you are always a fan of Bobbi's gloss, you will love this one too.

I am thrilled with this new lip gloss. The applicator is far superior to the brush applicator I have on my other Bobbi Brown lip glosses. It allows you to be precise with the application and it goes back into the tube with ease. I have terrible trouble with the brush becoming splayed open on my other glosses.I find the texture to be pleasantly smooth without being sticky. It stays on well without sliding off within 10 minutes.I also like the size/length of the tube. It feels good in your hand, makes it easy to use.I could see this being the gloss I go to first. It made my lips feel soft/moist and attractive without having too much shine.

I use most all of Bobbi's products except for the gloss. The colors are amazing but the formula itself is way too thick and sticky feeling when you apply to your lips. Maybe if you change the brush applicator to a sponge type applicator that may help thin it out better on your lips. Or perhaps a stiffer brush than the one that comes with it, that may help? I would definitely try your gloss again if you would change these things! :)

Exciting news with Bobbi's lip gloss - bigger tube (.24 oz compared to .14 oz in previous versions) and drum roll please.....doe foot applicator!! Some may have liked the smaller size, but all can agree that the brush applicator was a splayed mess after a few uses. Hopefully, the price doesn't increase too much with the bigger size.No fear - the gloss is the same great formula. Not too shiny, great staying power for a gloss and isn't drying to the lips. I tried this in Rose Sugar, which is a your lips but better color - a neutral pink. It applies like a dream. It has a thicker consistency than some glosses (somewhat balm like), but it isn't too tacky, and this keeps it in place and not running all over! I typically get 3 -4 hours wear if drinking, less if I eat. This color fades nicely because it does look like your lips. After a few hours, I may not notice much color, but I can definitely feel that it is still there, and lips feel soft.I will admit that I'm more of a lipstick gal than a gloss gal....I'm busy and don't have time to touch up every few hours, but this gloss doesn't disappoint me. I love to put it on if I my lips feel dry or just want a touch of color. My one recommendation would be to add SPF to the gloss.

I tried this lip gloss in Buff 4. It has a beautiful natural looking color and shine. This is the perfect nude for my olive skin. This gloss that stays on quite a bit longer than other glosses I have tried, and left my lips feeling moisturized. It stayed on my lips until I ate, and then slowly wore off. The gloss is slightly sticky, but not unbearable, and is taste- free. I did detect a very light almost vanilla scent when I opened the gloss and sniffed it, but it is not that noticeable. The sponge/doe foot applicator is great! I will definitely buy this gloss again because of the beautiful color and long lasting shine.

I recieved the lip gloss sample in the color Buff. Buff is a neutral beige pink which is a perfect color for my skintone. Love this color but it could have a little more pigmentation. I really liked the non-sticky feeling of the gloss and it really leaves lips feeling smooth and moisturized. I really like the doe foot applicator much better that the current applicator. Its easier to use and applies the gloss much smoother. I am not crazy about the vanilla scent of Bobbi’s lip glosses but it doesn't bother me enough to not purchase them. The formula seems pretty long lasting and looks great by itself and over lipstick. I like the different packing but sometimes the smaller tube is easier to carry around in your purse or even your pocket. But if you are getting more gloss for the same price, I would be fine with the larger tube. Overall I would recommend this lip gloss to others. I have always been a fan of Bobbi’s lip glosses, the color range and formula.

I have used Bobbi lip gloss before and I've liked it but not loved it. I LOVE this lip gloss. Not only is the color pure and shiny, the texture of the gloss is creamy and smooth and feels great on my lips. It's perfect for dry summer lips. I used it this past weekend at the beach and it lasted on my lips even after swimming in the ocean. It also doesn't bleed above and below my lips - something that drives me crazy about lip gloss. I will definitely be buying this new formula gloss and I can't wait to try other colors. I do love the buff though - perfect alone or over pencil.

I am not always a fan of Bobbi Brown lip products, but this one is new and different - and fantastic!First, the color ("Buff") is just the perfect neutral for me . It can be worn over any color or, the way I really prefer it, all by itself. It has just enough pigment and shine to brighten your face but not so much as to overpower.It has a good consistency - not sticky as other BB ones I have tried in the past. So excited that Bobbi has listened to her reviewers and has changed the applicator from the brush to the sponge tip! This makes the gloss easier to apply, however I noticed it doesn't pick up as much product... so I needed to dip twice for a full application. The gloss is a little on the sticky side, but really moisturizes and conditions the lips, so it is worth a little stickiness. This gloss wears very well and stays on a long time. I would definitely recommend this gloss to others!

Buff 4 is am excellent example of this beauty phenomenon.The texture takes a bit of getting used to as the gloss is stickier than what I am used to. But I am growing to like it more as I notice it stays on longer than many glosses.Thank you for letting me test the gloss. The color mixes so well with my Bobbi lipsticks.

I really like the Bobbi Brown lip gloss. The application is great, love the sponge applicator, the brush splayed easily making application messy. The larger size gloss is great--better value for the money, not to mention the larger tube doesn't get as lost in your purse!! I think Bobbi Brown glosses are a little sticky, but I don't mind that, to me that means more "staying power", I have tried much stickier glosses!! The scent is good, not obnoxious. I would definately recommend this gloss! Keep up the great products.

This is the first lip gloss that I have used that actually feels light and refreshing on my lips. Most are so heavy feeling and sticky feeling that I don't enjoy using them. This lip gloss glides on easily with the applicator included and is light feeling on the lips. I also prefer this applicator which is flat with a rounded top over the brush applicators. I used the Buff 4 shade and it adds just a little natural luminous sheen to my lips. I like to apply it over my regular shade of lipstick. This is one lip gloss I will buy again and recommend to my friends!!

Just tried the lip gloss in BUFF 4. I must say, not my favorite. The applicator was great, but did not like the feel of the gloss on my lips. Felt a bit sticky, and as time went on, liked it less and less on my lips. It did last long on my lips though. I prefer the High Shimmer Lip Gloss instead. The lip gloss color was neutral, but felt it made my lips look pale. The gloss, was better if i put it over lipstick. It gave the lipstick a nice shine. Would not buy this particular gloss. Would stick with the High shimmer gloss with more color instead.

I absolutely love this lip gloss! It is the best of all the lip gloss worls combined! I have worn it to the gym, the pool, and normal day to day wear. Bobbi Brown has captured the best attributes of lip glosses and combined it into one! It is light weight, smooth and silky. Not goopy, heavy and sticky. Don't let the light weight of this gloss fool you, it stays put just as long as those heavy sticky lip glosses do with the same amount of shine. A must have and can't live without!

First the bad:Very little product comes out on the doe-tip applicator. I have to dip the wand 2-3 times in order to get enough product to adequately cover my lips. One dip and I am scraping the wand across my lips, which isn’t the best tactile feeling. Also, not much color in the preview shade, Buff 4. Not sure if that’s because my lips may be darker than the average person’s, but I would have liked to be able to actually see some tint. Now on to the good:First, I’m glad the lip gloss doesn’t have that minty flavor and smell that is in some of Bobbi’s glosses and the lip crayon, which I always felt was drying. I’m also glad the lip glosses are going to the doe-tip applicator rather than the brush, which looked and felt cheap. The formula is moisturizing without being “thicky” (thick and sticky). It’s also nice to get the .24 fl oz for the same price as the old lip glosses that were .14 fl oz.

I love lip gloss because it's easy to apply and now with the sponge applicator it's easier. It's great to wear on an everyday basis and also over lipstick. It is very creamy even though it's sheer, and it stays on for a remarkably long time. It doesn't feel sticky which I particularly like, since I usually only wear gloss. Even though it comes in other colors, I really like this buff color. It's neutral and yet adds just enough color and shine to make my lips look finished. I would (and will) definitely recommend this to my friends.

I recently tried "Buff" Lip Gloss. The best thing about this gloss is it’s scent- an amazing vanilla with just a touch of baby powder. It feels just a bit stickier on the lips than I would prefer, but the shine and gorgeous color outweigh that. The new doe foot applicator feels nice and smooth as it’s being applied. For my fair, warm-toned skin, “Buff” is a perfect neutral colored gloss that I can wear alone or over almost any lipstick. I would recommend this gloss!

I've been wearing this gloss in Buff everyday for about 2 weeks now and I have to say, I absolutely love the way its feels, the way its tastes (the lack thereof) and the way it wears.The gloss feels wonderful on the lips. It sets up nicely but it doesn't feel like your lips are going to stick together permanently if they happen to touch. My lips are so much softer after the gloss wears off. I have 49-year-old lips and they need all the moisture and conditioning they can get!The gloss wears like a dream. I apply in the morning and don't have to touch-up until after lunch. I really love using it over Naked Lip Liner for a boost of color and staying-power. It creates a wonderful day look.Overall, I would recommend this gloss to my friends and family. The larger size is a greatly appreciated bonus and the new applicator is fantastic!

After using this lip gloss though, I will definitely be using it on a regular basis. The thing I like most about this lip gloss is its staying power. It stayed on through a snack/coffee and I think that is remarkable for a gloss. The application is very smooth. It goes on easily and evenly. I do like the sponge tip applicator over the brush applicators in some of the glosses. The brush bristles tend to splay out when put back into the tube. The gloss, although I thought it was sticky at first, did not really feel very sticky once on. I would prefer a mint/tingly feel like what was in some of my earlier Bobbi glosses, rather than no scent. I would recommend this gloss based on its staying power, and I hope it comes in a good array of shades.

I recently bought a tube (before the new larger size) & noticed something was wrong with it...it had a horrible cinnamon smell & it kinda made my lips tingle?? I took it back thinking it was bad or something. They told me she is reformulating it & changing the tube. I went in today & saw the new larger tube...just as I feared it's the new formula. They say it has a vanilla scent...doesn't smell like vanilla to me. I'm begging you Bobbi...PLEASE TAKE OUT THE SCENT!!!!!!

This is the first BB Gloss I have tried that does not have a brush applicator, and I'm so glad. Every other BB gloss I have has a brush that is splayed out all over the place--not so with this one. The color stays true--no fading-- and the color I tried--Rose Sugar--is a neutral pink with just a hint of shimmer. I think Rose Sugar is one of those universal colors that look good on almost anyone. This gloss is thick enough to give it some staying power but not sticky enough that my hair catches in it. I used it alone, over lipstick, and over lip pencil and it was great all three ways. I would definitely buy this gloss again and I'd recommend it to friends!

I love this gloss. It's not too sticky and glides on smoothly. The Buff color is a great everyday neutral - it really does the job of looking like my lips but only better. My lips are very pigmented, so it's hard to find a nice gloss on the lighter side that doesn't make me look washed out. It really is the perfect shade. It smells nice, but it's taste-free, which I like. I also love the larger size and the sponge applicator. I'm not a huge fan of the brush applicators that are used in other Bobbi Brown glosses because they tend to just fan out and get rough feeling, but this applicator is really smooth and applies the gloss evenly. I would definitely recommend it.

My first impression of the gloss was that it felt and applied more like a lip balm, and less like a sticky gloss. It felt comfortable on my lips, and kept my lips soft and supple for a long time. The application is much better than the usual brush applicator, and the sponge tip applicator is easier to apply on the go, even without a mirror. It lasted 5-6 hours, if I did not eat, but rubbed off once I ate something, which is not surprising since it is still a gloss. The color I tired, buff, was a good nuetral everyday color, but I tend to prefer some more color to it, whether it's pink, peach or coral. Considering it feels and wears like a balm, a nice healthy dash of color would work perfectly for everyday. I would recommend this to somebody who is looking for a moisturizing, non-sticky everyday lip wear. This is not somebody who is looking for high shine or drama though. I also hope it has some SPF in it. I would probably buy a couple of colors to keep in my bag and apply on the go.

Bought this gloss in Kir Sugar, and it is amazing! Stays on for maybe 30 minutes so you need to reapply often, however it does leave a shimmer and slight stain on the lip so it's not like you're left bare nekid! :) LOVE LOVE LOVE the color. Very natural, sheer but not clear, and it has shimmer! BTW you cannot even feel the difference in texture from clear glosses to the shimmery ones...its grit free! Thank you Bobbi!You never cease to impress! The new applicator ROCKS!

This is a great formula, as it has good staying power without being too sticky. It imparts soft and subtle shine, no glitter or frost. Just beautiful pearlized shimmer that makes lips look fuller and polished. I have used these for years, and I welcome the improved packaging.

I have always loved this gloss. My favorite colors are Buff and Petal, which look great on my fair to medium skin. The gloss has a beautiful finish and the color range is wonderful. My only complaint in the past was that I disliked the little brush, which used to get splayed out right away and be messy! With the new package and applicator, I am totally in love with this gloss! I have always liked the very mild vanilla scent. This is now my HG gloss.

I am big fan of PETAL, it is just the right shade and concentration of pigment that works with a warm or cool wardrobe. It has enough depth of color w/o overwhelming my lips which are not big. I thought PINK BLOSSOM would look good as the swatch looked darker than PETAL, but it was much lighter and made my lips look invisible. It is described as a 'sheer' pink so that may be a clue. I'll stick with PETAL.

My only little complaint is that I miss the Brown lipgloss and hope it will be brought back.

I liked the rose gold color that I ordered. It was also in the tortise shell collection that I ordered, but returned because I did not think it was worth its price. So I went online and ordered the lip gloss because of how pretty it was when I saw it in real life.Bobbi, would you please tell your website people that the way they display lip gloss colors, does not come close to what the colors look like in real life? On another site that sells your products, they photograph the actual gloss in the pacakaging and it is much more realistic in appearance. I had to return the other two glosses that I had purchased because they just were not as expected when I received them.Thanks, your products are beautiful.

I have other Bobbi Brown glosses and I swear by them. I bought this product in the ruby sugar color, which is gorgeous as a color and like my other Bobbi lip glosses stays on and looks beautiful. However I am very disappointed in the quality of the gloss this time. I have a lot of trouble getting the gloss out of the tube on the applicator. And my gloss is less than a month old and I can already see clear space in the wall of the tube indicating it is running out. Way too expensive to not last very long. I am not sure I would purchase again. Seems like the package got larger but the amount of product is less or the same. Not happy.

I got this lip gloss (in the smaller size) as a free birthday present. In tangerine. I don't like to whine about gifts but tangerine?! Really, Bobbi Brown?! I'm a pale, freckled redhead - orange on my face generally makes me look ill, and this stuff looks really orange in the container. Well, I gave it a shot, and it is gorgeous on me. It doesn't scream "orange" but it brightens my whole face in a very natural way. It's a gloss, so it's a touch sticky, but much less sticky than I'm used to accepting in lip gloss - the "hair blowing in my face now stuck on my mouth" problem is pretty eliminated. It has impressive staying power for a gloss, too. Thanks so much for the surprisingly awesome gift! I will definitely be buying more colors and replacing this when it's out.

I am a lipgloss fanatic. I have more than I wish to admit and more than I could possibly use up in a lifetime. However, after a lifelong search for the perfect gloss, I found Buff. I think I picked this up after watching Bobbi on the Today Show promoting her Neons and Nudes collection. I have fairly pigmented lips, and wearing the gloss alone enhances my natural lip color and gives me a nice sheen. Sometimes I dull down my natural lip shade with some concealer or foundation and it gives me the PERFECT pink/nude lip. I LOVE IT. I also work in and office, and let me just say that when it comes to makeup in general, less is more. I am also not a particular fan of lipgloss in an old-fashioned office setting. I typically stick to matte. However, the Bobbi lipgloss in Buff has my stamp of approval for office wear. It gives a nice sheen to the lips without going goopy. Did I also mention that it lasts for HOURS?! Pick this girl up, you need her!

i have these in the nude & buff. Perfect nude lip. I prefer nude as it has a little more pigment (not dark at all though) & looks more natural on me as it pulls more light, rosy beige/warm mauvish pink brown instead of the more neutral light pinkish beige of the buff color. I'm a 38 yr old lawyer & don't like to wear shimmer or glitter glosses at my age & certainly not for the office. These are perfect for those who want a professional friendly & non shimmer gloss but don't want a matte look. I usually wear mine after lining with BB lip crayon in dusty nude or nars lip crayon in bahama or walkyrie. The look is very natural this way & adds just that slightly darker neutral pigment needed sometimes with nude/neutral/light glosses & lipsticks. So glad she changed the packaging but didn't increase price. When I bought mine the first time, there was only .14 ounces & the wand was a brush type instead of sponge type. The brush style applicator was difficult bc the hairs would get all scattered out & make application difficult. This applicator is so much easier & precise. The extra .1 ounces for the same prIce is greatly appreciated!!

I really love this gloss! I especially love the new lilac rose and pink lily- they're so pretty I really wish that they were permanent shades (i'll have to stock up- that's how much I love them!) No matter which type of gloss you want, BB has one for you. Unfortunately, the color I picked has a little too much brown in it. But overall, these are the nicest glosses I've ever used.

I decided to try this gloss mainly because the color, Petal, is just so very pretty. Pleased with the consistency of the gloss because it stays put, which is unusual. Bobbi Brown knows makeup!

My only reasoning for not giving 5 stars is the website. I wish the site would show closer to the actual color. The gloss I received is bright pink, not the nudish looking pink the site shows. BUT, I *love* this gloss. At first, I was worried it would just show as over priced clear lip gloss, but the color really does show in a subtle, yet bold way, if that makes any sense. This is a good gloss for those who want a pop of color without committing to the high maintenance of lipstick.
