What a great summer product! It's easy to apply (I use fingers or a brush), and it looks so sheer and natural. Feels totally comfortable on skin and provides just the right amount of color and a bit of sun protection. It's great for "no-makeup" days :) All my other products (concealer, cream or powder blush for a pop of color) go great over it, too! I can totally see this being a summer/vacation staple. Back and Better Than Ever!

I have always used the tinted moisturizer in the past and when I couldn't find it anywhere in stores anymore I called and they said it was being reformulated and relaunched. Well, it was worth the wait because it is back and better than ever. The packaging is sleek and beautiful, and the product is better than ever!! It seems more moisturizing and a little bit on a foundation brush covers my whole face perfectly in a dewy glow. The colors seem a little different than before as I was always a light to medium which seems more yellow now, but the light tint was perfect! This tinted moisturizer is perfect for summer with mascara, lipgloss and a bit of blush. Thanks Bobbi!!

I bought this tinted moisturizer ages ago and with heavy usage I still have a lot left in the tube. I'm oriental, 19 and live in a tropical climate with a slightly oily t-zone and blemish free skin. This tinted moisturizer works wonders for me. Its great if you have clear skin and just want to even out the skin tone as it doesn't have a lot of coverage. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and lasts throughout the day even when its humid and dusty.

I ran out of my previous tinted moisturizer and went to the counter to buy a new one. I was surprised to see the new packaging. The consultant warned me the colors were a little different and they are, but for me, the match is even better than before. I purchased the Light to medium and it is perfect. It goes on smoothly, covers the redness in my rosacea prone skin and looks super natural. I apply just a light touch of the translucent pressed powder (the one that looks yellow) and I'm good for the whole day.

I started out with the oil free version of this moisturizer and find that I actually prefer the texture of this one. I was using the SPF 50 face base from the brightening line and the two didn't seem to like each other on my face. I tried this without expecting much from it and was actually surprised that I didn't grease up part through the day.Now I need new SPF though. I don't like it under the tints and the tints are a must for me for summer already... and the SPF 15 in these isn't quite as high as I'd like.I love all BB tinted moisturizers. I can use these on different days when I need specific effects -- more moisture or less.

I work from home and was looking for something I could wear on my "gym days" to look like I made an effort of putting on make up. I really do like this, I just wish I would have gotten a shade lighter. I chatted with an online artist and based off of the foundation I wear she recommended the shade medium for me. It's a hint too dark and requires me to do a lot of rubbing to get it totally blended. I think if I would have chose the light to medium I would give this 5 starts. So the rating is partyly my fault. I do feel like the it's a little thicker than your standard moisturizer but not so thick that it melts in the heat of the summer. I would order again but in a different color.

I would definitely recommend this for quick and easy coverage. This tinted moisturizer blends well and fast. It is much lighter than a foundation and because it is light you'll need a corrector for any tough spots.Also, I found that it can be on the shiny side so have some power close by just in case!

While on vacation I bought the Light shade with the BB salesperson's help on matching (difficult to see in the middle of a store). If it had not been in another state, I would've taken it back! Is way to dark and orangy. I ordered the Extral Light shade on line. It's too light. I've tried blending the two with fair results. Then I ordered my tried and true Tinted Moisturizing Balm and am happy as ever. I regret going to the expense of the other two.

Normally, I will need to apply primer (moisturizer, sun screen) before make up. In a way, I love this product since it gives me the right amount of natural glow I have been looking for, it is not shinny. It has SPF 15 , as well as moisturizes. It gives some coverage as well. It is "multi tasking" = moisturizer + sunscreen + foundation.The light shade of old tint is the right color for me; while the new one , I couldn't get the exact right shade for me, it is in between of "extra light" and "light". The shade runs darker, when compared to the old version.

But do agree that since now in the new packaging, the colors have slightly changed. I used Light during the summer/warmer months but now indeed it has an orange or more yellow than before cast to it.The Extra Light which I have also used for years during the cooler months, is now slightly too light than it used to be.I often do use the Extra Tinted Moisturizing Balm -- however at times it can be too emollient and I still use the regular Tinted Moisturizer more often than not.....I am just disappointed with the color change.That said, I can adapt using a slightly different powder but would prefer not to have to do that.

I have to agree with the other postings. I was always such a fan of this (my true staple) but now with the light too orangey/dark and the extra light too light it doesn't work for me. As a working mother the concept of mixing 2 colors every morning just isn't realistic. I do hope these colors can be tweaked soon.

I just had to second many of the other comments I have read--I have used the tinted moisturizer in medium tint for many a year. I just received a new tube in the medium tint (regular not oil-free) that is markedly a different color from the medium tube I am still lucky to have. I even compared a drop of two on my palm. The new shade is darker and more orange, not flattering even using it sparingly to my 60 year old skin (which is in great condition). I am going to try the next shade lighter but from the reviews I don't carry much hope it will be as before. One would think that with the multiple complaints about the change from the old product that the company might reexamine the formula or manufacturer or whatever has changed. It would be greatly appreciated by your clients.

Just read the reviews while checking on another color for an exchange. I had the same problem with the light as the other reviewers and now may just return and not even try the extra light. Scary to say, but I had a very old bottle of the original light and after a side by side comparison there is no doubt the color has changed.

Looking over other reviews, I noticed many have said that the "light" shade has changed. I use the "medium to dark" shade and the color still looks the same to me. However, I will say that this "new" version (of the regular, not the oil-free) isn't as moisturizing as it was before. Although I love this product, my skin has gotten dry over the years and I'm now looking for something that is more moisturizing. Still, I love using this product layered on top of moisturizer and during times when I don't need a lot of coverage.

Yes, they changed the colors so drop down a shade from the one you used before. I adore this product and haven't found anything on the market that is at its level of quality. I always have three tubes in my makeup kit to carry me from season to season and cover me in those transitional seasons between slightly summer bronzed and winter pale. In the in-between stages, I mix a little of two colors on the back of my hand and then use the brush to apply it. It is so sheer, you still have a margin of 'error' and can still come off looking polished and fresh.

The rep said the tints had changed and I needed the extra light tint. They did not have that tint in stock and still do not have that tint in stock...it's March now. I'm super pale and bought this in Alabaster about a month ago, so I surely have the latest formula. I'm very pleased with it—the color is really natural and coverage is light and even. It gives light hydration and broad-spectrum spf, although I wish it was higher than spf 15. I do find the texture oddly thick and I wish it had more of a "slip" to it. When I first tried it I was worried that it wasn't going to blend well, but it actually blends very nicely with my fingers and leaves no blotches or streaks. At first it feels a bit tacky but soon dries down to an almost powdery (to touch, not look) finish. Very natural look—I can still see freckles and pigmentation underneath this so I do use concealer here and there on top, but I despise the plasticky look of medium and full coverage foundations and I have pretty good skin, so for me this just evens out my skin tone, gives light sun protection and stays put all day without melting. I'm a singer and am often under hot stage lights so the stay-put factor is important to me.

I was always a "Sand" shade and when it was reformulated about 5 or 6 years ago, I switched to "Extra Light" which was perfect. I have used this tinted moisturizer for years and it's still the best for my skin. I have worn the med to dark tint and it's always been the same med to dark as long as I have used it. If the product has changed then I can't tell it still works for my skin type and I love it. I love the fact that bb is simple, once you find your shade it's always your shade!! Even when I sometimes try new products I always come back to bb. I'm in my 50's now and I no longer like the feel of heavy makeups or tints. Bb is light and yet covers, no strong smells on your skin and I can put it on once in the morning with powder and I done! bb, don't change a thing!!

The first time I got this tinted moisturizer was about 6 months ago, I really liked this product. It was really easy to apply and blend in and your skin looks just amazingly smooth and pore less with kinda average coverage, leaving your skin glow. At that time I was using a color of Medium and then I found that I should use a lighter color. so last week I purchased a color of Light to medium. However when I receieved it and started to use, I found that this one is really difficult to blend in, and the texture is bit drier than it used to be. It is left on the surface of your skin rather than well blended in and really looks like dust or you are using a deteriorated foundation on your skin. Disappointed and ready to return.

This TM definitely won't ever leave your skin feeling dry. Definitely has a dewy finish. Overall very satisfied with the product. However it is a darker tint than one would expect. I am typically a light-medium girl. light in the winter months but always medium with a tan. However, even in the summer LIGHT tint works for me. Definitely go to a counter to get matched.That being said I do not find that this TM ever "sets" or "dries" on my skin. Meaning that even an hour later there will be residue on my phone or fingers if I touch my face. I use a powder product after applying the TM to counteract this.

I realize my review may sound a lot like many of the other comments made already. In the cooler months, I use the Extra Tinted Balm. I use the light to medium when I still have some color from the summer months and then I use the light in the middle of winter. The Balm is just a little too heavy when it's 90 degrees and humid. I don't wear a lot of make-up in the summer, but when I need something, I have used and LOVED the older version of the tinted moisturizer. I used medium, because I get fairly tan in the summer. The new formula is just not the same. It is less moisturizing and the colors are just not the amazing match I have come to expect from BB. Sigh. I have about 10 drops of the old formula in medium and use it for special occasions in the summer. I have the newer formula in light to medium. It's a bit too light and it's too dry, but the medium is not right color anymore. Either way, I join the ranks of those who would like the old formula/colors to return.

Best tinted moisturizer!

pros:

Love knowing that my face will look fresh, not too "make-upy" and will be protected with an spf when using this product. I use my fingers to apply it, then put on some bronzer, a little Bone shadow, and Uber Beige lipstick and I am ready to start my day! This product is so easy to blend into my skin. I love how light it is. On days when I want more coverage I use the new Skin Foundation.

pros:

I tried a beauty balm cream at a drugstore and really disliked the cloying heaviness so I decided I needed a BB foundation and began to research the formulas. I read descriptions and reviewers ratings.I finally chose the tinted foundation I had been wanting to try for ages. One reviewer said it had a dewy finish and that was exactly what I needed and wanted for my aging combination skin. I have brown eyes and hair and do not tan anymore so I picked light/ medium and it is perfect!!

pros:

I have been using this since this summer, and I love it. I was at that point where my foundation always looked like too much make-up. I have normal to slightly oily or slightly dry skin (depending on the season). The artist online recommended the regular tinted moisturizer in Alabaster. (I am very fair skinned.) I really love it, any time of year, any occasion! It is definitely sheer coverage. I put one layer all over and then add a little extra over my t-zone. It has not made me break out, even though it is not the oil-free version. Honestly, this has even improved my skin texture!

Best tinted moisturizer, ever!

pros:

I am a sand (2), and I use this tinted moisturizer in "extra light tint", and it's a great match for my skin. Initially when I bought this product, it was to have a standby for days when I wanted to even out my skin tone without wearing foundation. I love how it smoothes on so easily, doesn't pill or streak and it gives great coverage. I do wish the SPF were higher for the summer, however. The finish is gorgeous-very dewy an fresh, and it leaves my skin feeling very soft and moisturized. I think out of all of my BB face formulations, I use tinted moisturizer the most often. This is one product that I definitely do not want to be without!

Bring Back Old Formula and Shades

pros:

I have two old tubes of the BB Brown Tinted Moisturizer - one in light and one in medium - they are almost empty, so I tried to purchase the new formula last year and found out that the formula and colors had changed. It is inconceivable to me that BB would take this five start product and completely change the formula and shades when they had an excellent product that women loved and purchased faithfully! The consistency of the new product is more drying and the colors are completely different. I went back to the counter and told my sales associate that I did not like the new formula and she said that it had been reformulated "again" and that I should "give it another try" so I asked for a small sample to try and it is still the new formula. BB please bring back the old formula and shades soon!

pros:

For almost anyone this is enough moisture and coverage, flows on face like buttah. I have very dry skin so I do have to add a little extra moisture. I like the coverage it is a sheer layer but, you can build it up as needed. Overall it is good product.

pros:

I've been looking for something like this for a while and my friend is using so she suggested that I should try so I did. So far, I like it. I've been using this product a few weeks now. I have a very pale skin so the product does its job, I don't look so pale. I use my regular moisturizer then apply this on top. I use this product just to make my skin look healthier only.

pros:

Nice, sheer coverage, very easy to apply. I'm 51, light olive skin, in pretty good shape but with some discoloration. I use the light tint and apply with an oval sponge. Very pleased. Skin getting drier these days especially in the winter; other than that combo - oily forehead. I apply over extra spf 25 which i love too!

Excellent Product

pros:

Do not hesitate to try this wonderful tinted moisturizer. Quick and easy to apply first thing in the morning. Lasts throughout the day. Perfect, even coverage; lighter than a foundation and it makes your skin look really good. Added bonus is some sun protection. Very, very happy with this product. Wish it cost $20 but other than the price, I love it.

Color problem

pros:

I really wanted to like this product. I was looking for something to replace my tried and true Bobbie Brown luminous foundation during the summer. I bought the extra light as that was my match using the sand foundation. The color was very light . It just did not look right. I wish luminous foundation had an spf.
