This product blends well, looks natural, has staying power and best of all FEELS GREAT! I have sensitive skin so have to be careful what I wear. This product has always felt great and never caused my skin problems. On top of that, after having my first run in with skin cancer, I always look for a product with an SPF. While I'd never wear this alone for hours in the sun, it is perfect to wear when spending a day running errands or eating lunch outside with my girlfriends. I've even bought this for my teenage niece because she deserves to be introduced to a quality brand and she could use a little SPF that she might otherwise avoid. It's like sneaking spinach into lasagna--they have no idea that there is a little extra something added to keep them healthy...and in this case, what they don't know can help them!

I am closing in on age 60, so I have searched for years for a foundation that evened out skin-tone and did not "magnify" wrinkles. So many foundations I have tried actually made me look older because they settled into the fine lines on my face. The coverage is light but really evens skin tone. I love all the products, but especially love my moisture rich foundation. I'm fair, but not too fair, ivory ish but not too cool and it's always been difficult to find that right shade - Sand was the perfect color. I can put this stuff on with my eyes closed. It blends in and covers those pesty lines and brown spots you get in your 40's (what is that about?!), feels just right and I know it has an spf and is soft on my skin. It's one thing I don't every have to worry about in the morning. I display it proudly on my bathroom sink with a few other products in case a friend goes in - and you know - they always ask me about it ...

This is my HG foundation. I have been using mineral foundation but found that it tends to highlight every flaw. This foundation covers well without looking like a mask, it hydrates but doesn't make your face oily, and it lasts all day. I am quite fair and it is hard to match my skin tone but there are a variety of shades to choose from. Also, the shades are quite forgiving. This foundation works very well with BB loose powder.

I love this foundation. I switched from another high end foundation about 5 years ago and have never regretted it. I wasn't sure about the moisture rich however the sales clerk gave me a sample and told me to try it. I never realized I needed the moisture. I have dry skin that "drinks" up all makeup like I never applied anything at all. I always bought oil free foundation thinking that was just what you were supposed to do! A makeup artist suggested the Moisture Rich Foundation and it's been smooth sailing ever since. I ran out of it some time ago and the makeup store nearby didn't carry Bobbi Brown - they convinced me to buy something "very similar"...DISASTER!!! I was turned on to BB Moisture Rich foundation by a BB make-up artist & I've been using it ever since. I've used a LOT of foundations in my day...& this one is by far THE BEST!! It gives a nice natural coverage...but you can layer it on the days you need a bit more coverage...or go lighter on the days you want a more sheer coverage. It feels good on your skin...like I'm not wearing anything at all. Yet when I check my make-up later in the day...by skin ALWAYS looks great!! It's not heavy even tho' it moisturizes. I was looking for a foundation that could cover flaws but still look natural. When layered with the Bobbi Brown concealer, the combination hides the flaws without looking heavy. I think with so many foundations you get the "shade problem". Shades are too pink, too golden, to olive etc. With Bobbi's shades you get your match. The tones are realistic and healthy looking. I can't use this during summer as I can get super oily but this is my go to in autumn and winter.

I have been using this product for a number of years and I love it. It looks very natural but still gives you the coverage a women of 61yrs. of age appreciates. Great coverage with a natural look, what more do you want. Most people do not believe that I am that old. I also strongly recommend that younger women use a sunscreen of their faces. I can line up a number of my friends of the same age range and you can tell who is still sunning themselves. I would recommend this product for women of all ages.

I have pretty normal skin. It's usually moderately oily, but can get dry if I use a poor-quality foundation for too long. I decided to try Moisture Rich because of the fact that most foundations either (a) made my skin look dry (b) made my skin dry or (c) all of the above. Also, there is a wide range of shades. I'm so white that even the palest looking foundations can look like a dark mask on me. With Moisture Rich, I don't have that problem. Moisture Rich stays on all day and looks great. I can make it through a 7.5 hour school day with just one powder touch-up. I would highly recommend this to any regular makeup user. It looks greasy when you first put it on, but once you apply powder, it looks like you have healthy, soft, glowing skin. I wouldn't recommend this to a makeup novice due to the fact that if you don't know how to blend, it can get streaky. The smell is... interesting, but it doesn't really matter. The foundation works great.

I probably wouldn't have purchased this foundation if I had not gone to the Bobbi Brown counter three years ago to have a make-up session in preparation for my daughter's upcoming wedding. I hadn't previously used Bobby Brown products. The consultant found the shade and formula best for me and explained that all the foundations were yellow based. My skin's undertones are cool-pink, so I wouldn't have guessed a yellow based make-up would be best for me. After the consultant was finished, women walking by in the store stopped and commented on how great I looked. I've been using the Moisture Rich Foundation, ever since. I like the natural look, the blendability, the fact that you can build layer upon layer in an area that might need more coverage, and the fact that it also seems to be good for my skin.

I hate my skin... at 50 years of age, it has gotten quite dry and I clearly need something soothing. However, I tend to sweat a lot, and I still break out here and there, so if I use a foundation that has too much (or the wrong kind) of moisturizers, the makeup can feels greasy and look bad. BB's Moisture Rich Foundation has just the right balance for me -- not too drying, not too creamy. Coverage is nice. I've found I prefer the look when I apply it with my fingers. When I use a foundation brush, it can look a little streaky.

I received a promotional mailing from Nordstrom offering a free full size foundation brush with the purchase of any full-size Bobbi foundation, so off I trotted to get advice from the Bobbi salesman. He carefully tried several on me and we decided this one fit my needs best, and I have to say, I am very impressed. The coverage feels and looks light but it really does hide some areas of hyperpigmentation on one cheek. It goes on smoothly, blends evenly, and feels totally natural. It seems to be rather long-wearing and does not smear. I think this is the best foundation I've ever used!

I really enjoy Bobbi Brown cosmetics & I always will. But I was less than thrilled with this foundation. The main problem I have is its consistency. It feels like they have mixed a thick moisturizer with a thin foundation. It feels extraordinarily heavy on. Of course, I do have oily skin, so maybe this is just not the right formula for my skin type. However, I never liked the consistency of BB's oil-free foundation either- maybe a reason they're discontinuing it. On the plus side, it does smell very nice :)

41-yrs-old, been using Bobbi Brown since I was 30! I use Bobbi Brown products every day. I have tried so many others brands and they don't compare to Bobbi Brown. I have received many compliments on how nice my skin looks even though I have many imperfections - it looks flawless with Bobbi Brown yet natural. With this moisturizing foundation my skin even has an improved texture. I always apply with a sponge and that seems to work best to get even coverage without overdoing it. This foundation is amazing. I'm 63 and foundation can settle into lines etc.---but not this one. after it "sets" if you call it that--warms up on the skin it looks completely natural. My skin looks light, but under that look is an olive complexion, which is strange. The yellow undertones which we all alledgedly have are more pronounced in my skin, when my foundation has yellows in it it makes me look bad. I 've tried makeup with slight pink and that warms up my face & is more flattering. But HOORAY FOR "NATURAL", which seems to match me perfectly. Nice coverage: you can layer on more for more cover. Love the SPF15, too. Have applied with Bobbi's brush & w/fingers: prefer former.

I have exceptionally fair skin - lily white. It's so fair that I've never been able to find a product that matches my skin tone in drugstores and in higher-end cosmetics lines. It is SO hard!!! I've literally tried everything in drugstores and department stores.I did a google search looking for foundation for extremely fair skin and Bobbi Brown in Alabaster kept coming up as a good one. This is the closest match that I have EVER had. There is no demarcation on my face in natural sunlight. If I were to nitpick, it could even be a bit lighter and it would be a better match - but I'm not going to complain as this is the closest match I've ever had. Although, maybe someday they will come out with a lighter shade (hint, hint Bobbi Brown!)Not only that, but it doesn't irritate my highly sensitive skin which is prone to break outs.AND - the moisture rich formula is wonderful. I have combination skin - very dry in some places and oily in others like around my nose. But this foundation lasts so long! So much longer than my "oil-control" foundations! And it has more moisture in drier areas. I found with other foundations I had to reapply every 2 or 3 hours. But Moisture Rich lasts for a good 6 hours before I need to reapply. I also use Bobbi Brown powder in white - also a good choice because it really helps control oil as well without looking chalky or being drying.I was worried about the level of coverage when I bought the foundation, since I'm only 26 and I didn't want super heavy coverage, but actually it's pretty natural looking. Good coverage, but it doesn't really LOOK like makeup. I was also wary about paying $50 CAD per bottle but I can tell you from experience that with this product, you get what you pay for - it's a wonderful quality foundation. I don't think I will ever buy a NON-Bobbi Brown foundation ever again. If they ever stop selling the alabaster shade I will probably need professional help or I'll have to make my own because there just isn't a lighter shade

I have combination skin, only a little oily around the nose but my cheeks and upper neck are dry. I was using the natural finish (which I love) when I decided to make the switch because I needed a foundation that would help my skin be moisturized. I love this foundation but the only setback I have had with it is the color. I went into Dillard's and had the consultant match my color to BB shades and she told me that no matter what product I would use it, it would be the same shade and would match my skin. I was using the natural finish foundation at the time and when I chose to try this one I simply told her the shade I had been using. When I look at it the color is too dark for my skin even though in the other foundation matches perfectly. So when you're buying make sure you check your color again! If you have dry skin that cracks or peels this is great for it because it covers it and helps your skin be smoother and over time become less dry. I also live in a humid city but so far it has held up pretty well. I can go about 7 hours before I need blotting paper and I haven't reapplied makeup because it's buildable to last the whole day.

I have sensitive acne prone skin and I love this foundation!! I use topical acne medication that makes my skin very dry and it peels but this foundation makes my skin feel and look so good! It is a very light liquid yets it covers hyperpigmentation pretty well (on some darker spots I still use the touch up stick concealer) I have used many higher end foundations and this is the best for my skin. If you have dry senstive skin or acne prone skin I would recommend this foundation (I searched for the ingredients online and I did not see any pore clogging comedogenic ingredients..unlike many other foundations out there)

For me, this is THE best foundation in the Bobbi Brown line. Although I am in my 50s, I do not like the "glowy" type formulas they keep telling us that mature women should wear, as the light-reflecting particles seem to accentuate every pore. Moisture Rich makes my skin look like natural perfection. The finish is velvety, not matte. Smoothly moisturized, not greasy. Although it never looks heavy, the coverage is slightly greater than Skin foundation (which also, unfortunately, gives me that slightly metallic sheen I mentioned earlier). I have dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, medium complexion, and Natural is my shade. This is a beautiful, perfect foundation - pleeease don't tamper with it, Bobbi!

I think it is fair enough for me to write a review on this one. I have used this since it came out and since the name was changed. I have been using some other foundation, but never really finish the whole bottle and always come back to this one. The color is great for my yellow undertone. I use it in Warm Sand or Beige depending on the season. It is just good enough for my combi oily skin. It is very natural looking. My freckles still show but my skin tone is so even with it on. People comment on how good my skin look, but not like "you have foundation on?"

So being someone with Combination skin I was looking for something that would hydrate my skin during the winter without looking like a greasy; oily mess. And this completely fits the bill.This fantastic foundation is very light weight and provides the most beautiful soft finish that I've ever seen in a hydrating foundation. All the while providing medium build-able coverage. This looks so very natural yet polished and clean. And for someone with combination skin I usually NEVER go for anything with the words "hydrating" "glow" "dewy" or "Rich" in the name or packaging description because I always end up looking like a greased cookie sheet. The foundations I've tried that have been labeled as such but "okay for combination skin" have been so bad I've had friends tell me "honey what kind or moisturizer or foundation do you have on?? You look really greasy".So not only was I mortified, but now I had to finish my work day looking like I belonged inside a melting wax museum. But I've figured out with the right skin care and application I can wear this foundation from mid October thru the beginning of March without looking awful. And I couldn't be happier!!! For me this foundation is everything I wanted "Skin Foundation" to be. I love this and I just can't live without it.

I bought this foundation online after chatting with the online specialist to find my perfect shade. She recommended golden, so I bought it even though I was kind of nervous that it wouldn't match my skin color or it would leave a pink or white cast on my skin once it dried. Well, I shouldn't have worried because this foundation is amazing. I have never used a foundation that matched my skin tone so closely that it just makes my skin look perfect instead of looking like I'm wearing a ton of foundation. Just as an experiment, I put three coats on and looked at myself in the sunlight, it still didn't look like I had on a mask of foundation. It's so smooth that I don't have that, "there's something on my face," sensation that I have with other foundations. This is my first foundation that isn't a drugstore foundation and I can say that I'm never going back...this is such a great foundation, I love it. BTW the Bronze tortoise shell eye pallette is equally amazing.

This foundation applys evenly, and stays true. Although it made my skin feel hydrated, it was not greasy. I have combination skin - oily t-zone and dry cheeks. Many other moisturizing foundations create an oil slick on my forehead after a few hours. With this foundation, I don't have to blot the entire day. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect rating, is due to coverage. It claims that it can be full coverage, but I didn't find that to be so. I seems that no matter how much I apply, the coverage is at best medium. As I said, it is a natural looking finish. For someone who has a fairly good complexion with not much to hide, this may be the perfect make-up. Otherwise, don't expect miracles.

I am one of the lucky (sarcasm) ones that have the fairest of fair skin. I cannot tan, I only burn, and I am super sensitive to sunlight and touch (I'll just turn red, it's so annoying!)..With that said, every foundation I have ever tried in any brand, and I have tried many!, are always too dark for my light skin by just a little bit. Well, I decided to give BB a try. I never considered it before since I have no luck and it's similar to other high-end brands which were too dark, but being desperate and needing foundation, I visited a counter. SO GLAD I DID! Of course, I wear Alabaster, the lightest shade, and oh my goodness what a great feeling it is to actually match the rest of my body. I love it. It really looks just like my skin. As for the foundation itself, it is quite thin and runny, however, I was able to build pretty medium to full coverage, as long as I let the layers dry for a minute or two, so I really like that it can be worn sheer or fuller depending on how my skin is looking and what the weather is like. However, because it is so thin and runny, I feel like anyone with heavier acne scaring or other scars/blemishes to cover will need a concealer to go along with it (I do). It is build-able, but the consistency is not very thick, but it does just glide right on and blend very well!!I am so very pleased with this purchase. I was actually going to just order Porcelain online, but I figured it was safest to just make the 45 minute drive to the nearest counter, and it was a good decision, because Alabaster is perfect. There IS hope for the fairest of them all! LOL!Thank you Bobbi Brown!!!!!

Sadly this was not for me, at least as a summer foundation, as my face is a smidge too oily. I gave it a try when my beloved Skin Foundation was temporarily sold out. This foundation has the most beautiful natural finish. The coverage is perfect and buildable for trouble spots. I just had a bit too much shine by the end of the day for my liking. However, this definitely will be a hit for many. If your face is on the drier side, or maybe even in winter when a lot of us have dry skin, give this a try. Even though it didn't work for me I am giving it 5 stars because it was my skin and not the foundation.

My friend told me about BB and their wide range of shades. I love this foundation! I didn't have to mix it, just apply and go. I am coming from an NC42 and 153 in Mufe. The BB 5.5 (Warm Honey) works 100 percent better. What I also like is, no matter full coverage or meduim, liquid or cream BB has the same shade numbers across the board. I've worn Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long Lasting foundation for several years and was pleased with it. When I ran out, the counter was out of my shade, so I googled some reviews and thought I'd give the Moisture Rich formula a try. I was nervous, as I'm a combo skin, certainly not dry. I was very pleasantly surprised with the results! I use less of this formula, it leaves my skin feeling so soft and supple and the coverage is flawless. I am now completely devoted to the Moisture Rich foundation. I used to have to re-apply powder to my face throughout the day. Now, my face is matte in all the rights places, but still glows. I love this product!

The Best Foundation For Extremely Dry Skin

I have very dry skin and very light skin. I have the hardest time finding a foundation that was my skin color and went on well. I've tried all the foundations out there and this one was the best out of them all it hydrated my skin so it went on perfectly! The only con is that it doesn't provide full coverage so I had to apply a lot of foundation on and just a month of using it, I was almost done with the bottle so if you want full coverage like a mac, this would only last you about a month and a half. But other than that great great foundation. I do not advice for people with oil skin to use this because it will come off. This foundation is very dewy.

I love all things Bobbi Brown and so glad to have been introduced to it a few years back. Now I'm hooked! This foundation though is the best product for my extremely dry skin. Stays on all day, great coverage (the more you put on the more coverage - just how foundation should work). I couldn't ask for a better color match either. Love love love! I have used so many high-end foundations, and this one is the absolute best. It glides on smoothly and provides great even coverage. I have very dry skin and I use only a good moisturizer and it just glides on. With other foundations, I have to use moisturizer and primer. I use Beige and it is truly perfect.Highly recommend.

Best foundation

I have dry skin, and when I want to use foundation, this is what I go for. I have this foundation in "sand" (2), and it's the most perfect foundation that I have ever used (out of many dozens tried over the years). The coverage is just right-enough to even out my skin tone, but not so heavy that I can't see actual skin. I don't really like full coverage foundations on myself. The best part about Bobbi's moisture rich foundation for me is that not only does my skin look great when I'm wearing it, but it feels even better-moisturized and soft to the touch. I have used the foundation brush which came with my Bobbi brush kit to apply this foundation, but I found it to streak a little too much, so I just use my clean fingertips now.

I normally am a powder foundation kinda gal however after trying this I AM HOOKED! A little goes a long way. The wear on this is fabulous as well. I find no need for touch ups unless I'm going out at night. Great product. I definitely recommend this especially in the colder months. Keeps your face looking flawless.

I am starting to have problems with dry skin at age 64. I have purchased numerous bottles of Bobby Brown makeup, with flakey results, switching colors thinking that was the problem and continuously saying my skin is very dry. The young gals at the Bobby Brown counter at an upscale department store never listened to me, hence my continuous changing of products. I also tried the Hydrating Cream cleanser, the Soothing Oil Cleanser, the Hydrating Face Cream and then Hydrating Intense Night Cream,which I was desperately using in the day time. I then, I switched to the Moisture Rich Foundation, thinking that would do the trick. It didn't! My skin was flakey and the foundation still looked like it was the wrong color, so I returned it. Finally, I ordered a new bottle of Moisture Rich Foundation from the Website and got the Extra Repair Serum and the Extra Repair Moisturizing Balm samples. Sucess! My skin is now silky smooth, not a flake in site (it took a week to settle down) and this foundation glides on perfectly. It is very sheer, more so than I'd like but very natural. The moral of the story is, this stuff is moisturizing if you are already well moisturized underneath. Also, if you are older, never assume the young counter girls are listening to a thing you are saying, because they are not! They kept trying to shove products on me and ring me up without really looking at me and trying to help solve my problem. The products are great but they need to make sure they have mature, trained professionals consulting more often. It was a very frustrating experience.

I purchased looking for full coverage, but it was so shear, I almost didn't see the need to wear the foundation. The smell wasn't the best either. Foundation didn't feel creamy at all, felt watery. Wasn't happy with it so I returned it. I wouldn't recommend it for someone looking for full coverage.

Hands down, this is the best foundation I have ever used. The on-line chat makeup artist helped pick out the right shade for me (not easy to do since I have a lot of freckles and blotches) and I am absolutely delighted. Have used other BB foundation products over the years (stick, tinted moisturizer, luminous foundation) but have never been so pleased with a product as I am with this one. Moisture Rich Foundation - Warm Sand

I chatted with a consultant online regarding what I should buy for my 37 year old dry skin. I wanted something that covered the sun spots and spontaneous acne I have gotten as I've gotten older. This foundation, though leaves a velvety feel and gives me a very nice look. I received compliments on my "make-up" on the first use. I can certainly see a difference when I don't use it and am addicted to it. It covers all day, and is buildable. It also does not cause acne, if anything it has helped due to the moisturizers in it. I apply it with my fingers and think that I may get better BUILDABLE coverage if I were to use a wedge. Leaves my skin moisturized and does not smell bad. Highly recommend. I am blonde with fair skin, and the Warm Sand was the perfect match for me. Does not leave makeup lines and blends effortlessly.
