I was at first, a little hesitant about purchasing this kit because of the price. I mean, how different would it be compared to my drug store brushes?However, after extensive research online, I decided this might be an investment piece to have. Boy, I'm glad I got it.Each of the brushes are labeled, soft, and easy to use.The biggest differences I find between BB brushes and drug store brands are the way these brushes apply the make up: evenly, not poking into your pores, and holds it's shape after wash.Definitely an investment pack to have!

I love this entire bundle of brushes. Before making the big purchase I got a travel bag with 3 brushes in it to make sure Bobbi's brushes were the quality I wanted. I loved the brushes in the travel kit and felt limited in my abilities to do my make-up. Once I finally made the commitment I have been completely satisfied with my purchase. The brushes feel amazing and work well. I love that Bobbi's brushes do not leave hair all over me every time I use them. The large set of brushes is completely worth the investment!

THE Makeup Brush Set To Get

I did a lot of research to decide on a complete brush set to purchase. It is a big investment, so I wanted to make sure I was getting the best on the market. This set from Bobbi Brown is exceptionally high quality. The brushes are soft, do not shed, and keep their shape well, even after washing. The handles are substantial and solid. Most importantly, they all have unique shapes which really do make a big difference in how well my makeup is applied and blended. They are definately an investment as this is a basic starter set - you will want to add more individual brushes, such as a Lip Liner, Blush Brush, Eye Detailers, Big fluffy Powder Brush. etc. I have purchased 5 more to complete the set. Beware - It can get rather expensive!

I've got tons of brushes, from high end to dirt cheap as well. And this brush set now updated from the "old" version is my favorite out of all of them. You get all your necessities and really don't need anything else. The face blender is one of my favorites since it can be used with the shimmer bricks as well as powder and blush. Its also very convenient for travel. I would highly recommend this set to anyone who doesnt own brushes and is looking for a great starter kit or just wants some awesome brushes! It comes in a black nylon case and can hold a couple more brushes without looking overly stuffed. The quality is superb!

A portable brush collection is necessary for every one who loves BB products. I have several. My favorite is this one as it has 6 brushes. I keep it in my current purse at all times. The mini foundation brush is perfect as I start to melt mid day. I teach middle school and find a quick touch up keeps me looking presentable. Most times no additional make up is necessary I use the foundation brush and then a quick buffing with the face blender. The brushes should be cleaned regularly. I use BB brush cleaner as I think it is the best on the market. Kept properly the brushes should last a life time.

I was lucky that my best friend started working in a salon while still in high school and bought me my first set of professional brushes when I was 17 - I was hooked and have been a brush junkie ever since. The best makeup in the world won't make a difference without the right tools to apply it and in contrast, even poorer quality cosmetics can be made functional.I would have preferred that this included the Eye Sweep, Eye Smudge and Eye Definer over the Eye Shadow, Eye Liner and Brow brushes as I think they are more versatile (and are my favorite Bobbi eye brushes) but I've played with enough brushes in the last 20-something years to know exactly what I like so that's just personal preference. The Face Blender is a long time favorite that can be used for bronzer, blush, shimmerbrick and although a bit small even powder. I’m not a big foundation brush user in general (like to use my fingers) but this one is great quality/shape and I like to use it with the Foundation Stick in the compact. The concealer brush is nice for small cream product application and since it has a cap it can be loaded with product and thrown in your purse for to-go touchups.Bobbi's brushes are great quality and this set is a good investment, especially for those just venturing into the world of makeup brushes. If you can make the upfront investment and purchase this set rather than buying individually it works out to around $29 per brush plus a free case which is also nice & well made. These will last for years if taken care of.

Wow, these brushes are amazing! Prior to this I had only used generic low to mid priced brushes, and thought that they were OK. I was lusting after this set, but mostly because it was just so cool!!Well, my darling boyfriend bought them for my birthday today, and I am so in love (with the brushes, and with him too!) These are so beautiful. They are thick and lush, and they really do apply my makeup a thousand times better than anything I ever used before. I never used to use my old foundation brush because it left me all streaky, but the one in this set leaves my skin looking smooth and glowing.These are absolutely worth every cent - if you are undecided due to the price just take the plunge - they are so worth it!!!!

I've been wanting this brush set for over a year now, and finally decided to spring for them! I'm so glad I did! I am loving my new brushes. Out of personal preference, I would rather have a different eye brush instead of the eye shadow and eye liner brushes because I have so many from palettes that I've purchased previously. Overall it's a wonderful brush set - my favorite brushes are the foundation brush and concealer brush.The website doesn't really show the brush case but I think it's a big bonus. It unzips open like a book and it has pockets on both sides for the brushes and room for some extra makeup or whatnot that you may want to stash in there. An improvement for the brush case would be a vinyl flap or some type of barrier that comes down to protect the brushes from dirtying each other when the brush case is folded and zipped up.

I have to tell you, I haven't used these yet and I JUST picked these up from the college post office, but these brushes look gorgeous! However, the case was pretty disappointing. I thought it'd look and feel way more expensive, but it turned out to be just a bit too plain for me. Perhaps if it was made out of leather it would have been much nicer? I could have just gotten any black makeup bag for a fraction of the price from a different store. I do like the fact that it's spacious though; it allows me to easily fit in my other brushes and make up tools along with my new BB brushes inside. The BB brushes are definitely worth the investment!<3 You won't regret it.

I have other brushes as mid price range, and wasn't impressed with the results. I wanted a basic set with a case that would keep them protected and protable. After seeing these and hesistating because of the price, I gave in and hoped for the best. I'm so happy I did, the foundation, concealer and blending brush alone are worth the cost of this set. My makeup now has a very professional finish. I use them everyday. They are very high quality, the best that I've come across. with proper care, these will last for years to come.

I was so excited to see that BB had a set of brushes! I purchased them and kept raving on and on to my friends about my new purchase. However, the reason I gave this product a rating of three stars was simply due to the fact that the brushes I primarily needed were the blush brush, bronzer brush, foundation brush, eye shadow, and fine eye liner. The eye brow brush, concealer, and blender brush were obsolete in my daily routine. Therefore, I had to return this product. Before you make this purchase, I suggest going to your local BB counter and MAKE SURE you'll use every one of them. If not all brushes are utilized, I do not suggest making this big purchase. Best of luck! I am so thankful for Bobbi Brown!

These Brushes are wonderful! I use the Blending brush as my bronzer brush, I feel that my bronzer looks much more natural when i apply it with this brush! The liner brush really makes it easy to apply my gel liner and quick! I can get really close to the lashline and even do the cat eye with this brush.

My sister bought these make up brushes for my birthday when I was 17. At the time I wanted to be a make up artist and this is all I wanted for my bday. I still remember opening the box they came in. Who would think 16 years later I would still be using them. These brushes are that good! I have not once had a hair come out, the wood crack, or any other issues. I am not great about remembering to clean them enough, but even so the quality has lasted the test of time.

Should Have Bought Brushes Separately

I have 3 different sets of brushes and just recently lost one set while traveling. Was trying to replace the lost set by ordering this set, but just discovered that I don't use or need several brushes in the set. My fault; I should have paid more attention. I just ordered separately, the blush brush, the fine eyeliner brush, and the smokey eyeliner brush, all which were in my lost set that I need, but unfortunately are not included in this set. I did the math and found that I could have bought the case and only the brushes I need for less than $175.00. Unless you need every brush in the set, it may be a good idea to get the case and the brushes that you need separately. Incidentally, I have been using BB's brushes since I was 16 (I'm 29 now), and brushes don't get any better than Bobbi Brown's.

I bought these brushes somewhat early into my Bobbi "obsession", and it is an investment that has paid off. This set is a great way to start your brush collection, indeed I have added to it considerably with many other Bobbi brushes. Each of these brushes is very well-made, and if you haven't used a high-quality brush like any of these to apply your makeup, you don't know what you're missing! Each of these brushes pick up just the right amount of product and apply them smoothly. I use each of these brushes daily, and they wash beautifully. Many times brushes will lose their shape or show signs of breaking down after washing, but not these.

I was very impressed with wonderful selection of brushes that this collection contained. Now I have the right brush for the products I use and my makeup application looks flawless and put together. I think everyone should this collection. The brushes are the best quality and feel great on the skin.
