I love Bobbi Brown, so when I saw the fragrance I bought it right away. But truthfully? Though the perfume IS long lasting, I can't stand the smell. Its strong and putrid... Some of my other friends like it, but I had to throw it away:(

the NEW Beach is not the same as the original. It's still a wonderful fragrance, but does not have as much of that beachy, sandy, ocean scent as the original. I'm not transported to the beach as I once was. I'm still going to wear this new version, but am not loving it as much. Thankfully, I still have 1-1/2 bottles of the original in my stash! This is as close as it's going to get, but I wish they hadn't changed what was perfect to begin with!

This is easily my favorite scent. I have tried many over the years, they either give me headaches or they disappear too quickly. Not this one. I've noticed that hours after applying that it lingers in a lovely, subtle way. The scent is definitely "beachy" and a must-have if you like a fresh, clean scent.

I've worn it a couple of times. I guess it doesn't pair well with my body chemistry. I don't get a light breezy fragrance, rather a heavy oily one. It reminds me of the pomade my mom used to put in my hair as a child.

When asked what fragrance she was wearing by a casino patron during a girl's trip my friend said it was called beach. I googled it and found the Bobbi Brown website. I ordered the fragrance having never smelled it and fell in love with it at first whiff. I felt transported to a beautiful white sandy beach. I work with a country band and was wearing Beach. The lead singer came up to me with her eyes wide and said, "What are you wearing you smell like a beach?" What more can be said? I love this fragrance!!!!

This fragrance just isn't for me. I boughg it after reading the reviews and thinking that I would like the scent notes described. I guess it does smell a bit like Coppertone, but in this case that does not seem to be a good thing. I infinitely prefer Almost Bare.

I know "Beach" isn't for everyone, but I love its clean scent that reminds me of the sunscreen of my youth. Be prepared for when you wear it that people will comment about how it smells like sunblock in the room, not that it's a bad thing, but you can see the puzzled looks on their faces when they're trying to figure out why it smells like sunblock in January..in Michigan. I made a one-star deduction because it doesn't seem to me that "Beach" lasts as long as the other Bobbi fragrances I own, but maybe I need to layer it on over lotion to increase the staying power. Either way, I am a "Beach" devotee!

Heaven in a Bottle!

This fragrance smells like heaven in a bottle! If you love the smell of Coppertone, which I do, you will love this. I am totally hooked and I want to smell like this for the rest of my life! I hesitated buying this as I am sensitive to perfumes (I do not have a BB counter close to where I live), but I am very happy I did.

Ugh, was so excited to pick up a new bottle of my favorite scent, that I opened it in the car in the parking lot immediately after purchasing. The change was noticeable in the first spritz. The beachy, sand, salt-water, fresh fragrance is gone and what is left in it's place is a sunscreen/chemical smell. I used to walk around smelling my wrist all day when I previously wore this fragrance, now I couldn't get home fast enough to wash it off. So disappointed, there are no words! I will up my star rating to a 3 IF I get a no hassel return. I just purchased the whole new spring collection of BB makeup, so am a good and solid BB customer. Please change Beach back to the original scent!!

Beach has been my signature spring/summer/fall scent for as long as I can remember. It has ALWAYS been a 'can't live without' product. I am so disappointed that it’s been noticeably changed; the sandy, beachy scent is gone – and it doesn’t last nearly as long. We can tell the difference. So many people have bought Beach because of my recommendation but I can't rave about this batch. I'm a long-time customer of all BB cosmetics, skin care, and fragrance. Please change the Beach fragrance back to what made it so special. It's not special anymore.

I love, love, love this scent! I buy it every June and wear it through the summer! I wish it stayed with me a little longer though. I do layer it with the shower gel and oil, so that definitely helps. Someone else commented that the scent has changed a little, but I honestly couldn't tell. Smells great!

I was looking for a new perfume and always have a hard time bc nothing ever smells good on me. I happened to come across this a few weeks ago and was hooked. Its not at all heavy but it lasts and smells the same from the time you put it on until the time you wash it off. It feels light and fresh! And it really does smell like the beach. BB got it exactly right!! Every time I put this on I smile. And today when I put it on, a few minutes later my 4 year old boy came into the room and said whats that good smell. And I said its mommy. And he said, NO! It smells like the beach!!
