Awesome Oil

I have been wanting this oil for a while and last week I finally purchased it. I love the way it smells and makes your skin feel so soft and silky. I love the shape of the bottle. The only thing I would change would be to make the top like a stopper or spout so you can pour it out of the bottle alot easier. I do not like to pour it in my hand to apply it to my arms and legs. Also it would be nice if it had more of the beach fragance which I love. I live in Florida and plan on using this product all year.

I bought this product on a whim. I never smelled her fragrance before and had no idea if i would use it or give it away but i have had great success with ordering her products on a whim, so I went for it. First, the bottle - pure simple aesthetic pleasure. Cool to the touch, nice to look at and hold. Feels right in your hand (i mean really, how many times did you buy something and the container was horrible. Ruins your experience). Then i opened the bottle and i was hooked. Just like that. The smell flows out of the bottle. It is not harsh. Very gentle but long staying. This is an incredible fragrance that reminds me of summer and the beach. Of childhood. And of my first date with my husband at the local beach. And the first time I brought my miracle twins to see the ocean. I get loads of compliments all the time and many from...men. Ya! They love it. I would wear it at night, at day, with my kids or at work (I'm a RN). It's not overwhelming. It's perfect. The feel. Luxurious. You would think oil would make you feel greasy. No where near that. Your skin glows, is smooth but not greasy. It gets absorbed quickly but you get the moisturizing effect all day. This product is aromatherapy and pure moisturizing product at it's best. And a little goes a long way. What I love to do: put it on at bedtime. You won't need any sleeping aids. It's an experience you will repeat over and over again. And when you layer it with the fragrance, fuggetaboutit. You are in heaven. Please, JUST BUY IT. You won't regret it.

Not only do you get the lovely beach fragrance but the moisturizing benefit as well. Put this oil on while your skin is damp after showering and your body will feel like silk and smell oh so yummy! I like the combination of the jasmine, citrus, and coconut together. The scent doesn't last that long but I use it with the shower gel so it doesn't matter. My only negative about the product is the packaging. The opening on the bottle is large so you have to pour it in your hand very slowly. I probably would try to find a different cap to put on the bottle. A little goes a long way so you don't have to pile it on like baby oil. Overall, a nice product.

Open the bottle and you are transported to a simpler time and place. Bobbi somehow managed to meld not only the scent of the suntan lotion from your childhood, but also the sand and the sea spray. It is how your skin always smelled when you came home from a long day at the beach. And if that isn't enough, the quality of the oil is superb. I no longer have rough elbows and knees and my skin now has a suppleness to it that I thought I'd left behind in my thirties. I will be going back for more of this.

Again, to get 5 stars a product must be near perfection. I have used this oil everyday since it was launched. I keep mine in a small spray bottle and apply to my legs after I shower. I blend it with aloe or lotion depending on the season. It soaks in, I never have to use much. The smell radiates & mixes beautifully with my perfume, sometimes Chanel others Missoni.It smells beautiful drizzled into the bath. A Great Little Bit of Beach!

As my name suggests, I love the beach and well this scent can take you there even when you can't be. The oil is so nice to use, I agree though that the bottle could be made a little different because after I get the oil out that I need, some stays on the outside of the bottle and I have to wipe it off cause it almost slipped out of my hands. But that is minor compared to how this oil works and smells. I just love it for shaving and after a day at the beach when your skin feels parched from the sun; this is a little bit of heaven while getting a shower. It makes my skin so smooth and sexy with a nice sheen. If I am going out, of course I also use the "beach" fragrance and people tell me I smell just like the beach, so my girlfriends nicknamed me beach lady from wearing this fragrance. I would recommend this for anyone that can use a little moisture to their skin and don't think it's just for summer, it's perfect for those dulldrum days of winter.

How'd they bottle up all of those lovely, intoxicating beach smells and get it just, exactly right on the nose? I like to smooth the oil over my legs while in the shower, just after shaving my legs. It gives my legs a wonderful glow while wearing shorts. I've noticed the oil really softens the rough skin on my feet, too. When I was a young child, one of the things my mom taught me was to buy fragrances in oil form as they were always less expensive. I am not talking about perfume, but rather bath or body oils. Most fragrance houses have ceased manufacturing bath/body oils to the best of my knowledge, as I do not see this in dept. stores. Having said that, I use this as my fragrance, not just as a moisturizer.Beach brings back those childhood memories, of long, lingering summers. This IS the beach, bottled! My absolute favourite fragrance. I love the feel of the oil on my skin, the sheen it gives and most of all - that scent! I use this all year as a fragrance - it's not overpowering . I warm it in my hands first and I can almost feel the sun on my skin when I rub it in. I also have used this in the bath and on my knees and feet. I read another review about using it in your hair, will have to try that - what a great idea. Drifting off to sleep after applying "beach" is the closest thing to actually being there for this beachgirl. I am a real "water-baby" and this is the perfect substitute when I can't be there myself.

Sexy Sheen

I love using this oil when I am wearing a dress or a strapless top- anywhere that I want a sexy sheen to my skin. It is really hydrating and smells sooo good!!! Even though it is oil, it absorbs really quickly into the skin- no greasy residue at all. I love the whole Beach collection. The only thing I don't love is the delivery system. This product should either have a dropper or a flip cap- something which regulates how much product comes out, as opposed to what it is now. Pouring it out tends to be messy and unreliable- sometimes it is hard to judge and either way too much or not nearly enough comes out, making application a pain. Plus the bottle gets all oily as well. If the delivery system was fixed, this would definately be a 5 star product.

I love the scent and feel of this oil but a glass bottle for Oil? Really? This needs to packaged differently. A non breakable container that does not spill when you use it is my suggestion. Again, I love the oil and the moisture it gives my skin. It smells lovely. I transferred it to a plastic spray bottle because I kepts spilling it when I used it after my shower.

Lots of you say it smells like a real beach, and that's what I though when I smell it in the shop, but being at home I realized it smells like orange blossom...and that reminds me of my motherland at the south of Spain, Seville...In spring all the streets are impregnated with Orange blossom scent which comes from the hundreds of orange trees with have in the city....uhmm!.I agree with some of you, I think the container is not the best for oil. If it slips from your oily hands it will break up!, and in another hand it's impossible to use just a bit (the hole is too big!).But the quality of the oil is very good, the skin looks perfect and the smell is delicate and elegant.

However, tho' I do like the scent of this oil, I am a person who has my own scent, I am not a beachy person and this oil is just too overpowering for me to wear. :( Give me an unscented body oil that I can love! Please? Also, the packaging - glass w/ an open spout? That's a problem waiting to happen. Slippery bottle, oil spilled all over the vanity.

I have the Beach eau de toilet, and I love the scent. The only complaint I have is that the scent seems to dissipate rather quickly. The body oil scent lingers much longer, but not in an overbearing way. It's a wonderful product. I apply it right after I step out of the shower, and it sinks into the skin quite nicely. It's the perfect product to use in the summer after you've spent the day at the beach and need extra moisture for your skin. I agree with others' comments that it would be nice to have a better dispenser for the product. It spills all over the place whenever I use it, and I don't like to have oil slicks all over my bathroom. Otherwise, it's perfect.

I know this is supposed to be for women, but was given this as a gift along with the eau de parfum. Not sure if they knew it was for women or not but I thought why not?! It really turns into a masculine scent on me. I like the oil in the winter because my skin gets really dry. Just wish Bobbi would listen to her customers more and put a pump on the bottle!!! It's a mess to use. The opening is way too big and it spills everywhere.

I absolutely adore this oil, the smell is fresh and not overpowering. It also eliminates the need for lotion. The only negative thing about it is the cap, it makes for easy spills and a lot of wasted product. Whenever I purchase body oils, they usually come with a dropper attached or some sort of pop cap.

I get migraines and have to be very particular with fragrances. I love the smell of this product- takes me to the Shore as soon as I open the bottle. The one thing I do not like is the bottle opening. Too large and too much comes out when trying to apply. Bobbi- great product- but I suggest changing your packaging- I don't want to waste a drop!

One of my goals in life is to be one of those people that smells really nice when they walk by you or sit next to you on the train. Not overpowering, but nice. Like, take a another sniff and see if you can figure out what they are wearing nice. I'm sure there are lots of ways that you can accomplish this, but I do it with the beach oil.The scent is light and intriguing enough that you want to use it all over your body (and it still wouldn't be overpowering), and the oil helps keep your skin tip-top. It really does smell like the beach, but without that coconut sun-tan lotion smell.

There is not much more I can add to the great reviews already posted for this product, but I'll try. The oil is so light and hydrating. It smells just like a nice day at the beach. I use this on my legs with short skirts to get a nice sheen and scent. It's also fun to dab some on in the winter when your elbows and knees are really dry. Passersby get a nice whiff of the Beach scent and, for a moment, everyone is transported to the warm days of summer!

I live at the beach; wouldn't compare it to the beach seaweed smell, but would definitely compare it to the feeling I get with the freshness of the air at the beach. I normally prefer a citrus scent, but this scent is a pleasant exception. I apply the oil sparingly on my skin immediately after a shower while my skin is still moist. My sweet Bobbi Brown makeup artist gave me a great trick. She said to go to Dollar General and buy a cheap spray bottle and pour the oil in. Then just squirt when you get out of shower. No lotion needed and smell GREAT all day. I love this.I have oily skin and it is not too heavy for me. I can't get enough of the Beach oil. Much better than the perfume.

I'm not ready to give in to winter just yet and picked up a bottle of this little joy and use in place of my usual winter fragrance. I love this body oil. It absorbs quickly, doesn't leave my skin oily, just soft. Smells just like the perfume (albeit lighter, which is nice sometimes on it's own, or as a base to make the perfume stronger/longer lasting). Has pretty decent longevity (4-5 hours) scent wise. Compared to other brands, that is pretty good! I don't care for the glass bottle. While it is cosmetically appealing, glass + oil is a catastrophe waiting to happen!
