I recently ordered the cream lip color in Blue Raspberry. I really like it. The shade makes my lips look natural but better - a bit darker than my natural lip color.The texture is nice too. In general I am happy with it, though I took one star off b/c I think it could last a bit longer. Still, I would recommend it.

I have chronic dry lips so keeping a moisturizer on them is a must regardless of the weather, warm or cold. I don't know what Bobbi Brown puts in her creamy lip colors but its the only lipstick I have used that even when the color has faded my lips don't feel like they're going to crack into a million pieces. They still feel moist. I so love this lipstick.

My chapped, dry lips hungered for a moisturizing lipstick until this product came along. Nearly all the Creamy Lip Colors are in my possession and the perfectly neutral Rose Petal is a permanent fixture in my purse make-up bag. If you're looking for color that you never need to reapply, this is probably not the best product for you. But if you want gentle color, nice shine, and soft lips, it's absolutely perfect.

I bought this couple months ago, I already own other color uber pink and this one is my second one. Firstable, if you have dray chapped lips like me, this is must. I cannot normally wear lipstick since it tends to accentuate the dryness of my lips. but, I also do not like to wear lip gloss since it tends to be too sticky. But, this creamy lip color is very moisturizing, it does go on like lipstick but it is not as drying as other lipstick. Also, color coral pink is very pretty, I'm asian with medium color skin and just applying this alone without any other make up, makes my face get brighter. so for me this is a must item....its always in my purse.

I love the creamy lip color. I recommend visiting your local Bobbi Brown counter (or using the Artist Chat feature - how great is that?) in order to find your perfect shade. Personally, I love Pale Mauve and wear it religiously. These lipstick feel a lot like a lip balm. They are extremely hydrating and last fairly long - though they don't last as long as the regular matte lipsticks. I will sometimes layer this lip color over one of Bobbi's lipsticks.

The title here kind of says it all. I have Italian Rose, which is a very wearable color. These lipsticks are not as full-coverage as the Lip Colors, but they have a shine and softness to them that is very nice. The texture is creamy and moisturizing. BTW: I think Italian Rose is one of the stars of the line. Everyone who recommended this lippie to me mentioned this color specifically.

Love the consistency of this lipstick...very creamy, super comfortable, stays put pretty well (not longlasting or anything, but wears well), no weird taste or smell. Love the pinks (and I generally don't wear pink lipstick), but where are any kind of reds? This would be a terrific lipstick in a russet red....I have these in Rose Petal (terrific deep pink), Blue Raspberry (also a terrific deep pink), Italian Rose (a great deep rose) and Rose Brown (which is my least favorite by a mile...listed on the website as a warm brown, but really just looks more like a muddy pink).

I 've never used a product that glides on and keeps lips in such healthy looking, smooth condition until creamy lip color came along. Who needs lip plumpers when all you need are lip smoothers like this one? It takes most of the fine lines out of my lip without fillers. It comes in every shade category, and the container is very cool! Also, living in this very hot humid environment, I can always count on my creamy lip colors not to melt in my hot car. In the long run, finding this product may actually save me money. I used to be one of those people who carried multiple lip products around with her b/c I HAD to have chapstick because I hate dry lips, I need to have a lipstick for the occasions when I need some color, but I really prefer gloss because of it's high sheen and easy application - no mirror required! After being introduced to Bobbi's creamy lipcolor I think I found the solution to my 3 product habit. This product offers sheer color that is easy to apply and moisturizes my lips. I love that when I apply it, it's as though I'm applying my chapstick but then, that's it, I've got my moisturizer, high gloss and color all in one product. I couldn't be happier with it!

When they say say 'creamy' they mean it. In fact, it's a bit less slippery than I like in a lipstick, but the color and the fact that it stay on and doesn't slide off makes up for the fact that I apply a little heavier in the beginning.I got the Nectar color, and it's nearly a perfect match to my lip color, just a little lighter, and good for when I'm going for a nude/pink look.

PROS:1) This product gives great color coverage & a slight shine -- you may not need to layer with gloss.2) On the advice of a Bobbi rep at my local dept store, I bought the Blue Raspberry color, and it is possibly the best match for my lip tone that I have ever found! Apparently my natural lip tone tends to turn most colors warmer (almost orange!), so if you are in the same boat as me, give this cooler-toned color a try.CONS:1) Wish this product came with SPF!2) Since this formula is so creamy, do not leave your tube anywhere warm (in the car in the sun, etc.). I am skeptical of all lipsticks out there that claim to be moisturizing and creamy. As a makeup devotee, I tried a lot of lipsticks that claim the above but most of them never failed to disappoint me until I met this Bobbi Brown creamy lipstick.My natural lip color is in darker shade of red so I always in desperate need for lipstick that can cover my natural lip color while not drying. This lipstick really does what it claims, which is creamy and moisturing enough even for a dry lips like mine. Coverage power is excellent, I can now see "lipstick color" on my lips. Color selection is great too, from nude to sexy lips, easy to find the one that matches the look.After getting my first Bobbi Brown creamy lipstick which is "Baby", I am obsessed with this series and now in the journey of collecting all colors I love. This lipstick just makes applying lipstick so fun again.

I purchased this product in Nectar. If you are looking for a neutral look that will still look as if you have some color on your lips, this is it. I am fair and it works with my skin tone beautifully. Before I apply it, I line my lips with Sandwash Pink liner and fill them in. The color stays put and gives you a finished look. It truly is a creamy consistency so it works best if you apply, blot and reapply to really work the color into your lips.

I really love this lipstick, though it took some getting used to because it feels different than anything I have ever tried. It is almost like a gloss lipstick combination. No sicky gloss feeling but all the wonderul shimmer. I love the feel of it now. It is very moisturizing and stays on well. And the colors are so flattering, not too bright. I own this in Rose Pink (which I used up and have never done that before!) and just ordered Bronzed Pink, which I am equally in love with. I will be wearing this for years to come.

Inconsistent texture among colors

I first bought this in Baby and I loved the color and texture--it was very creamy with a very slight sheen/shimmer. Since I liked the texture so much, I went out and got the Soft Blush. The Soft Blush felt sticky and had actual glitter, which was nothing like the Baby. I don't know how two colors in the same type of lipstick can have a completely different feel. I know it's not just the stick of Soft Blush I bought because I tried the display color and it was also sticky. I guess I was hoping the display was just dried out but the new stick of Soft Blush I bought was just the same.

I have multiple shades of the creamy lip color, and I find it to be a nice lipstick. The texture is thick -- which took some getting used to -- but it does stay moist. I find I can use the CLC when I'm desperate for lip balm, and it hydrates my lips a bit. The colors tend toward the natural but with a bit of flair: I'm a big fan of the Dusty Mauve and Ruby (which were only, unfortunately, available in limited edition palettes). My new favorite is Rose Brown, which seems to be just a slightly richer shade than my natural lip color, so it's my everyday, can't leave-home-without lipstick.

I'm a sucker for the real natural look. I look fantastic, but it's hard to tell what I'm wearing. I don't someone to walk up to me and say omg! I love your foundation. I want them to say I love your skin! This lipstick has a luxiurious creamy texture, which I love. Not too wet, not drying either. I have the color uber pink. Almost matches my natural lip color. But has a slight oompf to it, so it doesn't wash me out either. Glides on very easily, and almost feels like a lip treatment. So, I found what I was looking for, a natural looking lipstick, with that barely there look. It lasts a good amount, but I just wish it was longer!

After being a VERY long-time Bobbi Brown make up user, I finally took advantage of the "talk to an artist" feature. I live in Maine, a long way from the BB counter where you can try things out, and I needed a new lipstick for summer that would be neutral yet complimentary to to fair skin, dark eyes and dark brown hair. I got an almost immediate e-mail back, recommending blue raspberry, and I just love it! The color is fantastic, just a bit darker than my natural lip color, it's soothing and softening, and it lasts! And it looks fabulous without being too "make-up-y" - What more could you want? Except maybe the also recommended Marina Pink gloss to dress it up! Love that too!

Lipstick has always been a problem for me, and especially so since my lips have lost color and I really need to wear some lip enhancing color (another joy of being over 50!). The Bobbi Brown associate at Nordstroms in Austin choose this type and this color for me when I explained my habits to her. I'm always slipping on a bit of lipstick before I get out of the car, so it needs to be easy, mistake-proof, and look natural - this does this trick.

For my lips and complexion, the Soft Blush was TOO nude! I am a huge fan of the BB regular lip color, a semi-matte, mainly because it stays on your lips so well. The Creamy Lip Color has gorgeous colors like everything else in the BB line up, but because it is so moisturizing and shiny, it does not last. So for that reason, I am only giving this 4 stars. I really want to love it, I swear, but I am more satisfied with the regular lip color.

I really like this formula!! I know there at least one makeup line that has a similar lippie, but Bobbi's formula and colors are superior. They feel super hydrating when they go on. Not too pigmented, so I find I have to layer the color for myself which is fine. These are another great option for lipstick if you want hydration.

I have never really loved lipstick until these came out in early 2008. I received a trio sample, and now own seven others, and will probably be adding new ones to my collection (Rose Garden is next:) If you can’t get to a store that carries Bobbi Brown…maybe this review will help.First let me tell you about the lipstick itself. It's creamy...more like a balm in texture. It slides right on, and lasts for quite some time. There is no scent or taste, which is a must for me.Now for the colors:1."Nude Pink"-This was my first Creamy Lip Color. A MUA at Nordstrom put it on me and lined my lips in Light Pink. It looked beautiful on me all day, but when I purchased it...It was too light and was a wash on my lips. I am fair skinned, but have rosy lips and this color on its own doesn't do it for me. However...If you have paler lips (go by your lips...not your skin)...This is a wonderful color. Exactly as stated "Nude Pink", but not boring. I now just mix this one with other colors and it's great.2. The three in the sample--"Honeysuckle" (a lovely golden peachy nude), "Rose Petal"(a simple sweet rose pink), and "Bronzed Pink"(a really nice neutral shimmery beige)3."Blue Raspberry"-one of my favorite two colors...a sweet medium pink with blue and mauve undertones. I agree with the reviewer who wrote this feels like a combo lipstick/gloss - the texture is very creamy, emollient and moisturizing. I usually prefer gloss over lipstick anyway so I like this formula. For those who have issues with lip color migrating into fine lines - you may want to use liner with this as the creaminess makes it less budge proof than regular lipstick. I don't have this issue but thought I would mention as a just-in-case.As with all Bobbi's makeup, color selection is a standout feature - they're all beautiful and there should be a color to suit everyone. They are sheerer than regular lipstick too, which I like as an alternative.

Creamy Lip Color is much better than the original Lip Color because it smells a lot better and is more moisturizing with a better variety of colors that actually blend in well with your lips.With the original Lip Color I always felt like you had to color in your lips to find the right color or shade but with Creamy Lip Color all of the colors are an exact match to your lip color and all you have to do is just choose how light or dark you want your lips to be.Creamy Lip Color has great durablity, dries quickly, and does not have that sticky gooey feeling.

I shy away from a lot of full coverage lipsticks, in favor of gloss or tinted lipsticks, because they can be too heavy on pigment or just too opaque for my pale skin.The creamy lip color lipstick is great - soft shine, full coverage color and it doesn't look like heavy caked-on color. This is a great product. Moisturizes lips, I always have peeling chapped lips and cannot tolerate lipstick because it dries me, and lipgloss can be so sticky my husband hates to kiss me with it. NOT with the creamy lip color! It's soft, smooth, lasts a long time yet lips feel moisturized. Plus there is no annoying minty/vanilla flavor like a lot of balms and glosses have. this product is always in my pocket or purse. I especially love Rose Garden and Pink Buff, you can apply it without even looking in a mirror. ANd it looks great!

Hydrating with Soft Shine

I purchased a new shade, Rose Garden after having a makeup artist at a BB counter try the nude eye palette on me with some other products. I absolutely love this color on me and would have never picked it out simply by seeing it online. ( I miss the color descriptions that were on the old website).I knew that I wanted to try a newer shade since I only had one other, Berry Mauve, from a BB chocolate mauve kit I bought a year ago @ Nordstrom. Berry Mauve was a hit with me from the start because of the way it feels and looks. It also isn't too pigmented for me as I am pretty fair.It's creamy and hydrating with just enough shine; not too over the top. If I want more shine, I can put some gloss on top, but this suits me for every day. Definitely looking forward to trying more shades!

This is the one! I could never find a lipstick that I liked because other lipsticks tended to dry out my lips quickly and the colors were too pink, too orange or, just too...wrong. This lipstick = PERFECTION! It applies lightly, not heavy or cakey. The conditioners - FABULOUS - the days of my lips drying out when wearing lipstick are but a distant memory. Let's not forget about the colors that Bobbi has created - BEAUTIFUL! I have finally found the lipstick one shade above the color of my lips -- a Bobbi Brown rule -- and it is the absolute best! I love this lipstick!

I bought a tube of Creamy Lip Color in Rosebud last week and have used it almost exclusively since. The consistency is perfect for me as I tend to think most lipsticks are too drying but most glosses lose their color quickly. This product really has the staying power of a lipstick combined with the moisturizing and sheerness of a gloss. The "rosebud" color is a beautiful natural shade for my lips. I didn't care for this the very first time I tried it. It seemed too much like a lip balm (weak color), but after I applied it, and looked at my lips, the color was more like regular lipstick. It keeps them soft and supple, and feels very decadent. The only negative with this is that it's softer consistiency than regular lipstick and didn't give as good of a defining line around the outer edge of my lips, so I would definitely need to use liner.

I got this in blue raspberry and I think I would have looked only slightly better in a deeper color but it is still very pretty and the color is growing on me. I love the balmy texture and it does NOT dry out my lips. Definitely not a sticky lipstick. My lips feel protected yet not waxy like a regular lip balm. The color also deposits well and is buildable. I use this in warmer weather but I think it will be key in cold weather when my lips may be prone to being chapped. I think this product will last me a long time too.

I have a lot of pink in my lips naturally which makes a lot of colors turn peach or orange on me. I have this in two colors, Raisin Berry and Blush Pink (this was a LE color, in the BCA kit with a pink lip gloss). It's a creamy, moisturizing formula, and doesn't feel "heavy" as a full lipstick can. It's great for casual, daily lip color. (I tend to use lipstick more for evening...too intense for daily use for me) It's not long lasting though as other reviewers have mentioned. I gave it 5 stars for other qualities, but if you're looking for long lasting color, this isn't the product. Since it's forumlated with shea butter and supposed to be more of a "balm" consistency, I don't think it's meant to be long lasting. In terms of "how" long it will last...you will need to reapply this more frequenly than lipstick, but less frequently than gloss.

I recently tried this creme lipstick and have to say that I love it. I have very dry lips that peel at least once a day and on top of that I am allergic to all products that contain petroluem in them (which exlcudes 99% of lip conditioner). I usually stick to lip gloss because I can find more moisture in them than lipstick. After reading the reviews I just had to try this...and I love it. It is very creamy and packs a lot of moisture in it along with color. It stays on my lips for at least four hours without eating. It really does what it says it does with no drying.I have medium beige skin tone, hazel eyes, and brown hair and the color two different artist picked out for me on two seperate occasions was Blue Raspberry! I usually like soft pinks and would never have tried on this color however, once on, I loved it. It complimented my skin perfectly.Only problem is I can't decide which color I want to try next!

As usual with BB products, its the colors that are the real star of the product. Its definitely creamy, and goes on well. It does not seem to be drying, as most lip colors are, and doesn't bleed into any lines. It does feel like you're wearing a lip balm.I purchased this in Rose Garden and in Blue Raspberry, sight unseen, based on the descriptions of the colors (and, in Rose Garden's case, its use on the model in her video, as the model's coloring was close to my own). I rarely wear lipstick - my last tube was purchased 7 years ago, it was the second of that shade, and I rarely wore it (but still have it). The best I hoped for was a shade that I could "water down" with gloss to make it look more natural and less dark. Almost every color I have tried is too orange or pink, or, if its in the correct color family for me, is simply too rich to blend in.Rose Garden is PERFECT!!! I almost cried when I tried it on. It looks almost exactly like a slightly darker shade of my natural skin tone. When I'm going for a little bit more pop, I put a thin layer of Pink Buff lip gloss on first, then put Rose Garden on over it. (For the skin tone reference, I use the stick in Warm Ivory, but will probably switch to Sand after trying that shade in a sample, as its just the right shade to add a bit of warmth.) Best of all, I can apply it straight from the tube, without a mirror, and look polished all day long. Its great for layering.Blue Raspberry is also an amazing color. It's about one shade darker than I feel comfortable wearing, so I tend to either layer it or use gloss over it to lighten the color. It is a perfect match for my mother, though, who has the same pale skin and green eyes, but has brunette hair instead of blond (and she wears plums and dark, rich jewel tones best).Highly recommend this lip stick for its color shades. There seem to be pretty colors- So far I have tried italian rose and blue raspberry. Both are great utilitarian colors for me. I am fair-to-lt.medium skin tone / blonde/ brown eyes and I find these colors to be good medium density colors and not too dark but still show up on my lips. This lip color is so moisturizing. Usually lipsticks feel like you're wearing a heavy layer of gunk on your lips, but this feels NOTHING like it! This creamy lipstick glides on like silk and makes your lips feel like so.The color that I got, Soft Blush, is a pink nude and I adore the color. I tend to be a littly iffy about purchasing lip colors online because all I really get to base it on is that little swatch of color. But Soft Blush really stayed true to the picture/description. It goes on as a pale pink that blends in very well with my natural lip color. It does it's job well just to enhance my lips without drying them out.If I'm going out, I usually pair the lipstick with a gloss for more shine and glam look.

It is absolutely perfect in the texture and creamy, silky feel on your lips. I purchased the color Rose Petal, which is the most beautiful pinky, peachy, brownie... just beautiful! I don't know if I've ever been so excited and fond of a lipstick color! I also purchased the Metallic Lipstick in Vintage Rose. It's a great Spring and Summer color with high shine and lots of glimmer. I have been using it on brighter days by applying it to the center of my lower lip after applying the Rose Petal. I've never had much affinity for lipstick. In all of my makeup wearing years, it has been a problem for me to find a lipstick that didn't irritate or dry out my lips (if long wearing) or that stayed on (if more gloss like). After trying the Bobbi Brown Creamy Lip Color product for a couple of weeks, my lips are asking, "Where have YOU been all my life?"This is a great product. It glides on and stays on, makes my lips feel nicely hydrated and looks great. The color options are beautiful and there were couple of color choices that worked well for me. I finally picked rose petal which is just the littlest bit darker than the natural color of my lips. Lovely and natural looking.I can't wear anything with SPF on my sensitive skin so the BB Treatment Lip Shine that has SPF 15, and which I tried first, just didn't work for me. But this Creamy Lip Color formula is perfect - sometimes second time is the charm!

I got to try the Pink Ballet Creamy Lip Color by Bobbi when I bought the Antiqua palette and I fell in love.....so pretty. I love the Kitten from this palette as well and would buy it if it was available in the permanent line. I bought the Pink Ballet as it is a regular color in the line and also own the Soft Blush I just really like this formula it's light, moisturizing, not at all sticky, and it feels like I'm wearing nothing at all.

As a former lip gloss-addict, I was looking for something with a bit more polish and impact, but without that "lipsticky look". This lip color does it for me. Amazingly creamy, exceptionally rich, the perfect lipstick! I love it in Pink Buff and Honeysuckle, both nude-beigey shades, and Twilight, a subtley glamorous and sumptuous shade with a hint of shimmer. This unique formula doesn't cake and, though it's creamy and moisturizing, it lasts remarkably well. I touch up mid-day, after lunch, and I'm good for the remainder of my workday. What an incredible lipstick!

My current favs are Nude Pink (tawny neutral pink), Rosegarden (sheer pink/light shimmer ) and I recently purchased Soft Blush (creamy nude pink/shimmer). Great neutral tones (not too pink, too brown or super glittery), just a hint of color and moisturizing. I use to be a lip gloss only girl because most of the lipsticks I've tried before were too "heavy" (opaque) and had a drier texture. Creamy Lip Color is just the right in-between gloss/stick combo.

The formula of this lipstick is creamy, but I don't really think it glides on smooth when using it alone. To fix this, I use Bobbi's Lip Balm with SPF 15 as a base, then apply this in a blotting/patting motion. These two products combined are great! I got the Pink Buff color and it's a perfect shade of my natural lip with just a little more oomph!

This is the best lip product I have ever used. I own an obscene amount of balms and glosses, collected over the years. I had never been a lipstick person, however, but when I got a makeover at the BB counter, the MUA put lipstick on me even though I was sure i wouldn't like it. It didn't look matronly as I'd feared, but pretty. I decided to purchase this product in the same shade rather than the regular lip color to ease into the idea of lipstick, and I'm so glad I did - this product is hydrating, comfortable, smoothing, sheer, and so pretty. I got Pale Mauve and find it's a subtle and very pretty upgrade to my own lip color (I'm Porcelain with cool undertones). I can't wait to try Ballet Pink.

I have this in Uber Pink and Blue Raspberry. Both are great for fair complexions. I recently got the Blue Raspberry, as it's close to my natural lip color, and it goes great with the Velvet Plum metallic eyeshadow and Black Plum gel eyeliner. It is comfortable to wear, just as the description says, having a smooth consistency. My shades:Twilight - A lovely soft berry - very close to my lip's natural color.Pink Sequin - I will be very disappointed if Bobbi ever discontinues this shade. Very sheer, light pink/peach. This is what I use if my lips are looking "berrier" than usual, or when I don't have a mirror. Provides a beautiful sheer, sheen.Bronzed pink - Similar to pink sequin, but with a bit more color and sheen.If you need a heavy, color drenched lipstick you may want to avoid this one. But I truly love it. (And wouldn't have tried it if it hadn't been available in a palette not offered here.)

I have to admit, I am a lipstick fanatic. I just love lipstick, and Bobbi Brown creamy lipsticks are the greatest! I have tried so many brands, and now use Bobbi Brown lipsticks exclusively. I love the creamy lip colors and own several. I like the fact that they are soft and creamy and provide a soft flush of moisturizing color. They are just wonderful for everyday when you don't want to look like you are wearing a lot of makeup.My most recent purchases include Honeysuckle and Pale Mauve. The Honeysuckle is great for a nude lip, or you can layer it with a darker lipstick for a softer look. It works great with the Maui Illuminating Bronzer or Apricot Blush. The Pale Mauve is a very soft mauve pink that I love to wear with the Pale Pink blush.I think both of these colors are wonderful and would work on most skin tones. I just know you will not be disappointed when purchasing one of Bobbi's creamy lip colors! They are a must have for your lipstick wardrobe!

I have the creamy lip color in two colors--pink ballet and blue raspberry. They both glide on smoothly, neither wears for too long and I reapply every hour or two. The part that bothers me is the drying effect from the blue raspberry color.Blue Raspberry:Gorgeous color. It doesn't wear particularly long, so I find myself applying it several times during the day, and the blue raspberry absolutely chaps my lips and dries them out every time. In short order after applying it, my lips have shine as though they've got a balm on, but they get really chapped and angry. It's a shame, because the color is gorgeous and would flatter any skin tone.Pink Ballet:Soft shiny pink. Does not dry my lips at all. It keeps them conditioned all day (if I keep it reapplied). I have to reapply every hour or so, but I'm alright with that.

I've been buying Bobbi for years and can't believe I've never written a review! This is the first time I've tried the (somewhat ambiguously titled) creamy lip color and I'm in love with it. The feel of the stick is almost like lip balm: it glides on smoothly and the coverage is more sheer than Bobbi's lipsticks. I do find the look a tiny bit pearlier or shinier than lipstick which tends to look very flat or matte to me. To me, it's a nice product for every day wear; the colors are very natural so it's something I can wear to work every day (I'm a fitness instructor) and it's not as shiny as Bobbi's lip gloss. I bought this in Italian Rose and it looks like my natural lip color only better. For those that worry it might be too pink, I'd urge you to try this out anyway- my skin has yellow undertones and this is perfect for my complexion, it doesn't look obvious I just look refreshed when I wear it.If I were to scale the coverage on a 1-10 scale (1 is the most sheer, 1o is very solid), this probably rates about a 6. It's an absolutely lovely product and I love that I can feel just a tiny bit dressed up by putting some on- even when I'm wearing workout clothes all day!

It's a nice color, though I don't LOVE it like my lip colors. It's sure creamy, though... maybe even a bit too creamy for me. It almost feels "sloppy" to me. I'll finish the tube. I've been applying this with other colors to experiment, but I think I'll pass on this next time around and stick to the other lip products.

I got this to go with Cabo Coral Pot Blush and it's almost a perfect match. It looks much brighter in the tube than on, (like pot blush does), so no worries there.. It's subtle and pretty. It lives up to it's description of creamy and feels nice, not greasy at all. It does have a soft shine as described. I find it doesn't last long on me, unfortunately. I'm going to try using a lip pencil on my lips first, then the lipstick, so may have a better result with the longevity.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is exactly as advertised (love truth in advertising!) It's been 100 degrees each day, so the formula right now is a bit 'slippery', but I know in the dry winter I will appreciate the moist color. I do have a suggestion- how about more lipcolors in the Blue Raspberry shade? It is soooo flattering! I could flog myself for missing out on the palette when it was available. :-(

I bought this in Burnt Sugar for an everyday dash-on neutral and Italian Rose on the advice of an online artist to replicate my favorite blue fuschia tones.For me, this lacked the color payoff of lipstick and the true shine of a lipgloss, meeting somewhere in the middle in a disappointing way. I looked vaguely like I had eaten something with lots of dye in it.I have blue-pink lips, and the Italian Rose didn't enhance them, while the Burnt Sugar swerved a little orange on them.If you order this lipstick, I'd recommend staying as close to the hue of your lips as possible - if you hit it right, you should get a dewey enhancement of your actual lipcolor. It might also work very well for women of color who want to add some tint to the natural color of their lips without adding a lot of glossing. Just a guess - don't know.I just returned to Bobbi Brown after years of Target shopping, and I'm not at all disappointed in the line overall - I'm very glad to be back in high-quality makeup. This product just didn't hit it for me.

This is my favorite lip color line from BB because it offers the perfect amount of coverage without drying out your lips. This is the middle ground between a gloss and a lip stick since it is less "shiny" but more color saturated than a gloss. I had a makeover at the Bobbi counter at Phipps Plaza yesterday and the make up artist chose Raisin Berry for my lip color. At first glance I thought the color would be too dark for me but it suited my complexion perfectly and felt incredible on my lips. I normally shy away from lipstick because it never seems to look right on me. The creamy lip color is the perfect combination of sheer color and a moisturizing lip balm. It's weightless so you won't notice that you have it on your lips. I can't wait to experiment with other colors.

I adore this formula--slippery smooth and oh-so moisturizing. I don't own any tubes of this because I just had to buy so many colors of Bobbi Brown Rich Lipcolor as well as Bobbi Brown Lipstick (classic formula). I returned the tube of Tigerlily I bought because it is almost invisible on my pink-pigmented lips--if you have pigmented lips consider whether the color you buy will do anything for them. I almost wanted to keep the lipstick because the formula is so luscious and makes my lips look so healthy and full but I need my lipstick to look like more than a good lip balm or clear gloss. I will swatch some when I can get to a major city to choose which to buy--I am sure Italian Rose, Raisin Berry or Hibiscus could be HG material!

Love Blue Raspberry

I just received the blue rasberry lip color and I used the high shimmer plum lip gloss on top. It's really really gorgeous and so natural looking. The word raspberry kind of scared me a little b/c I don't like colors that are too cold and bright but this color looked so pretty on Katie Holmes that I wanted to try it. As usual, Bobbi is spot on. The color is beautiful, natural and does not dry out your lips (which I hate b/c after an hour or so you look awful when lipstick is too drying!) I would recommend this lip color to anyone who has similar coloring to Katie Holmes, who I think is a beautiful BB model! My skin color is medium with medium brown hair (a little lighter than Katie's) and I have hazel eyes. I'm also 38 and this lipstick does not look dated on me at all -- it looks fresh and young!! Love it with the plum shimmer!

Luscious coverage…need more colors!!

pros:

I have gone back to the BB counter numerous times looking for the perfect lip product. I love, love the Pink Buff in the Rich Color Gloss and I love the Nude in the Gloss, but the gloss is a wee sticky for my taste. In the summer, I use Uber Pink in Creamy Lip Color, but it was too bright for winter. I felt like I wanted something with more, longer-lasting coverage. I tried several colors in the Lip Color… none were quite perfect. Brown, Brownie, Rose, Blondie Pink… all nice but not quite right, and my lips felt dry after a time. Desert Rose in Rich Lip color was very pretty but the formula was too dry… so I turned back to the Creamy Lip Color… it has a nice coverage and the formula is really moisturizing. I wanted something that was very similar to Pink Buff in color and I found it in Blue Raspberry. It's very nice. I put it on the other day and was somewhat surprised that hours later, it still looked good. I would really love to see more colors though… the color spectrum seems limited to me.

Beautiful color that lasts and lasts

pros:

I use "rose petal" creamy lip color more than any other lip color in my collection. I love the way it glides on so smoothly, the color is very true, and it lasts all day long. I only have to reapply after eating, otherwise the beautiful color stays true for many hours. The formula is perfect; it doesn't flake or dry out my lips like so many others tend to do. I love the just-right amount of shine in this lip color-it's very natural and pretty.

This lip color (Uber pink) is soft, subtle but with enough "pop" to notice. The texture is creamy but not overly so. I would recommend this lipstick. It's a little costly but I feel it is worth the price.

This lipstick is great. The color (Italian rose in this case) strikes a nice balance between being rich but not overpowering. It feels great on my lips, and the color looks beautiful but doesn't scream, "Look at me!"

Uber Pink Is Perfection!

I am reviewing the shade Uber Pink. It is one of the most versatile shades of pink I have tried. It has the right amount of depth (shades that are too creamy and have zero shimmer can appear flat). The formula is cushiony and feels fantastic. It feels like a lip balm, but has great shade payoff.

I live in southern CA so thought a light lipcolor would be fun. This color, however, didn't work on my skin tone. I am dark hair, dark eyes and olive skin. The light tone was just too light for me and made my skin look washed out. So, I returned that one and purchased another one. I love BB products...

This is a very moisturizing lipstick, I just wish it stayed on longer. I bought Italian Rose and I like the color, the problem is when you buy online you're not sure what you are going to get. It's not a rosy rose, it's rather a brownish rose but it is very pretty.

I prefer the Lip color with a Matte finish better. I found it last longer on me but this shade "Tiger Lily" is a nice pick and I do wear it. Not as often as some of the matte colors.

This lipstick is my favorite. It feels so good, not drying but doesn't bleed either. I just have a hard time choosing a color because the computer just doesn't show the true color and I have to buy online. The nearest Bobbi Brown place is about 100 miles from me.
