This is a great brush for blending shadows and setting concealer. I usually use this brush solely for setting concealer, but it is be great to use for shadows too. It is very soft and fluffy and provides light application of powder to set my concealer.

I never would have purchased this brush as I already own several that look like it, and then at the end of January’09, Bobbi Brown Online offered the Eye Blender Brush in a “travel” size as a gift with purchase. Very cool to offer a makeup brush as a gift.In a few days my package arrived, and to my surprise…it was the short handled version of the brush. I thought travel meant mini. I took it out of its little plastic case and all I could do was feel it. It’s very soft and of the highest quality. The brushes I have that resemble this don’t even compare.In spite of the beauty of this brush…I didn’t think I’d use it all that much. I had ordered the Sparkle eye shadow and this brush was ideal for that. After I went on to other looks…I used it for the powder part of the corrector/concealer step.One day, I was applying my lower lid shade and it just wouldn’t go on evenly. I picked up my new brush and it blended it like a dream. So I thought I’d try using it when applying my crease shadow…It deposited it softly with no effort whatsoever. I found out that this brush works great for darker shadows that need to be applied in a wash, most recently doing a smokey eye with the new Caviar powder eye shadow…beautiful!I keep finding more uses for this brush. I can soften my eye makeup with it when I’ve been a little heavy handed, and create the softest shadow/liner by simply brushing it in small downward strokes across my lash line and then blending upward.Of course most of this can be done with the regular Eye Shadow Brush, and some people on other review sites say that if you do your eye makeup correctly, you shouldn’t need this brush. Well…I can be a klutz sometimes and I make plenty of mistakes that this lovely brush corrects and blends away. It has become one of my favorite things.Thank you BB Online:)

First of all, can I tell you how soft this brush is? I use it mostly for applying the pale yellow powder to set my concealer. I also use it for some blending. It's great, because it is large enough that I use it to clean up the little specks of powder that fall from applying my eye-shadows. I just dip the brush lightly into my jar of loose pale yellow powder and then dust off the areas that need touching up.

This is a gentle, fluffy brush with longer bristles for blending over the eye area. The bristles on this brush are very light, airy and soft. I am aware that some people like to use this for a smoky eye, but I find the bristles to be far too flimsy for that application. I use this is a strictly blend-only brush, or for powder application after concealer per Bobbi's suggestion.

This brush is a must have. It allows you to experiment with multiple shadows on your eye and then soften any harsh edges for some amazing effects.It can also flick away the bits of shadow that may have fallen on the cheeks - much better that you can do with your fingers.

I find this eye brush superfluous since any of Bobbi's other shadow brushes are already great at blending. The bristles on this are a bit too soft and long for its intended use and I've actually seen Bobbi as well as other makeup artists using this to apply/blend face powder over concealer rather than using on the eyes. It will also work for a subtle application of shimmer just at the top of the cheekbones but so will other brushes. I'm a brush junkie, however, I still want my brushes to be as multi-purpose as possible and this one just isn't a necessity in my stash.

It Should be Called a Mini Face Blending Brush

This brush has been misnamed. As an eye brush, I would say this is a 1 or 2 star product at the most, however, if you know Bobbi Brown products, you know that they can be used for more than just one thing.This brush barely touches my eyelids. It actually features most prominently in my kit as an under-eye, around the nose and blemish concealer, a mini powder brush (to set concealer under the eyes, or dab on a highlight), or a little "duster" for make-up fallout under the eyes.It is really gentle so it doesn't irritate the gentle skin under the eyes, and it is fluffy so it blends concealer and powder alike beautifully on the skin.I would recommend this as an under-eye concealer brush for women looking for a more natural looking, but still high coverage, finish.

This brush is a must have for setting under eye concealer and foundation around the nose area. I don't use it at all for my eyes, I think it is too big and fluffy for eye shadow, but works wonderfully to set the concealer with powder for all day wear. Bobbi's brushes are very high quality and with proper care will last a lifetime. I think this brush was a great investment.

I tried so hard not to buy this brush. I bought at least two other large fluffy brushes hoping they would substitute for this brush. They didn't. This brush is soft and delicate, and no other brush I've found can do the same job.I use it for applying yellow powder around the eye to set correcter and concealer and to prepare the eye area for shadow. It gives me a softer, smoother, more crease-free finish than any other brush I have, and I probably have two dozen.I wish I hadn't needed to buy it, but in the end, I probably spent three times more trying to find a less-expensive brush than if I had just bought this one in the first place.

I bought this brush a couple of years ago for the use stated in the product name...to blend eye shadow. I wan't sure I needed it for that purpose, but I love the various Bobbi Brown brushes that I've purchased and put to good use over the years, so I decided "why not" to the sales person's pitch for this new brush.While I've found it to be superfluous for shadow blending, the intended purpose given the name, as the other BB brushes and my fingers do a combined great job of that, as a "mini face brush" for detail work like putting powder under eyes, this can't be beat. And like all Bobbi Brown brushes, it is top quality.Is it an essential purchase, like the eye shadow brush, for instance? Nope. But as you expand your Bobbi Brown brush kit, it's nice to have.

A Brush Can't Get Any Better

Thanks to reviewers' comments, I've just added this incredible brush to my collection. I thought the brush I was using to set my concealer was okay but decided to try Bobbi's. What a difference! It feels like a feather gliding across my skin. And it uses much less powder than my old brush. The powder goes on in a very thin layer now and never settles into my wrinkles. I should have known that no other brush could compare to Bobbi's. It's worth every penny.

This brush is awesome! i use it to set my powder for under my eyes, blend eyeshadows and use it to apply eyeshadows. I also love that the brush hairs never fall off when i am using it. I Have cheaper brushes that all shed while using them and it never happends with any of my bobbi brown brushes!

Very soft bristles that are firm enough to apply with specificity. Blends where you aim it as well -- no "wandering" outside the radius of its own reach (you know how s0me brushes "grow" about 50% when you use them because the bristles are held to the handle in almost no shape? None of that.)This is the best part: Closely tapered bristles and an elongated head!! 5 stars for the head of this brush alone. NICE and LONG bristles -- reaches under lower lashes if you use it to blend concealer powder. I have one that I have used *only* for specific powder needs like this.Perfect reach!

This is the perfect powder-setting brush to use with the concealer kit. It distributes just enough powder to set concealer without making it look cakey or white, two problems I've had in the past with brushes that pick up too much powder. Highly recommended to use for setting concealer on blemishes as well since it doesn't disturb makeup anywhere on the face because of its soft bristles.

I am so happy my mom get this! This brush is awesome! After applying my liquid concealer a apply my setting powder with this brush and it doesn't look cakey at all! Just dip your brush in your setting powder, tap of the excess and you're done. I would totally recommend this to anyone!

This is by far the most versitile brush that I own. I use this brush to blend eyeshadow to prevent hars lines, sweep a neutral eyeshadow all over my lid, apply powder over my under-eye concealer to prevent creasing and help it to last all day, apply face powder to small areas to set foundation and concealer (nose, mouth blemishes), and set a bright, matte lipstick shade with transluscent powder to extend its life.This brush also feels so good on the skin. It is super soft and plush. The eye blender brush truly does it all. I without a doubt use this little guy every single day.

I always overlooked this brush, but I picked it up on a whim using a discount. I am so glad I did! Like all of Bobbi's brushes, the quality is top-notch, with wonderfully soft bristles and a sturdy handle. The bristles are not densely packed, so it makes gentle, feathery strokes across the eyelid to gently blend the shades of eye shadow together. I love using it for this purpose, but the job I feel this brush does best is apply powder to set concealer around my eyes. It picks up the perfect amount of powder and pats it in place with the long bristles. I am so happy I found this brush!
