I have always used eyeliner pencils but my hand isn't as steady as it used to be and I don't have as much control over the width of the line. Recently I purchased a dark eyeshadow from Bobbi Brown and this wonderful eyeliner brush. I had no expectations but I was amazed at the results. The brush is soft and yet the line is precise and easy to use. I can draw as thin a line as I want, make the eye shadow softer looking or more dramatic just by controlling the brush and amount of eyeshadow. I have updated my makeup style, received compliments on my new look and am extremely pleased with the results.

I had an older, travel-sized version of Bobbi's eye liner brush, but this brush is far superior. The bristles are the perfect shape, size and stiffness for applying dark powder eyeliner. I usually very slightly moisten the bristles and load up the tip of the brush with a dark powder eye shadow, then the brush practically lines by itself. It is very easy to get a perfect line -- whatever thickness.

The "Eye Liner Brush" is an essential tool to have in any woman's makeup arsenal.One is able to achieve a multitude of looks with just this one brush. For gel eyeliner, the brush picks up an ample amount of product and allows for smooth lining along the eye. The brush doesn't skip or tug on the skin. A definite plus when working around the sensitive skin of the eye area. Thus making the ubiquitous cat-eye easy for both experts and novices alike!Another advantage of this brush is when it is applied to wet eyeshadow. I love this brush. It makes applying the dark shadows as a liner a breeze. And they always stay put. I just run both sides of the brush across the shadow and then tap the excess off and I never have a mess. I have found that it works well with the long wear liner as well. Bobbi's brushes are the best out there. (Love the mini brushes too!)

I use this eyeliner brush with powdershadows to create a smoky eye and it is very easy to do with this brush. Sometimes I wet the brushhead before I dip it into the powder and it lasts even longer. I have used this brush for several years and I am very content with it! It always makes my eyes look good for every occasion.

While this brush is designed to be used in the application of darker shadows as eyeliner, I also use it to apply gel eyeliner. It gives a more pronounced line but, with a little practice, I feel I have better control with it than even the ultra fine eyeliner brush. I have this one (and almost all my other brushes) in a longer "professional" length, which I prefer.

I go back and forth between using shadow and gel liners to line my eyes. This is my favorite shadow liner brush and I've tried a few over the years. Highly recommend.I found the travel size to be easier to maneuver than the pro size, which is what I normally prefer for most of my Bobbi brushes.Have had several (I travel a lot and keep a make-up bag ready to go) for a few years and with regular cleaning her brushes last forever.

I use this brush to line my eyes with dark eye shadow. And as with all BB brushes this one is a high quality, perfectly designed tool for the job. The brush draws a slightly thicker line than the utlra fine eyeliner brush, which is great when I'm looking for a more casual, natural look. This brush makes it quick and easy to line your eyes.The other nice thing about it is that you can use it wet or dry. When you wet the brush I find that the shadow liner is more intense and stays on longer. So this is a nice brush for traveling because you can get two looks for the price of one.

I never used to use powder liner because it was so difficult to put on neatly and in a thin line but with this brush it’s much easier. I tend to lean towards the gel liner and the ulta fine eyeliner brush but when I feel like having a less harsh line this brush works the best and I love the finished looked.

This has a similar general shape as the Ultra Fine liner brush but is a bit larger in scale. I can use either with the gel or powder liners but find I like this better with powder (applied with a damp brush) and the Ultra Fine better with the gel. If deciding between the two I think it really comes down to what type of line you prefer - finer go with the Ultra Fine and slightly thicker go with this one.This is a nice liner brush but I tend to reach for the angled Eye Definer brush as I can do more line styles with it and use it for my brows as well.

I was one of those people that never lined my eyes with shadow because:1) I never knew how & 2) Didn't have the right utensils. Everytime I tried to line my eyes with shadow I always got too thick of a line, so I stayed with pencils or liquid liners. BUT now (with guidance from Bobbi's tutorials) I have no probs using shadows as liners and I love it better than anything I have did before. This brush makes it very easy to apply and makes it very precise....I can make the line as thin or as thick as I want. This brush is a MUST-HAVE!!!

I got this brush in a set that I bought, and it is absolutely amazing. It never fails! It goes on smoothly but firmly, and it stays so clean and neat.I like to line my top lids with dark shadow and bottom with light, and the two colors somehow never mix. I don't know how the brush does that, but it's insane! I love it!

Had been exclusively using the gel ink liner (still love!) but I picked up the Velvet Plum palette, which has a double ended mini brush, and started trying Espresso eye shadow (damp) to line. Love the look and surprised by the staying power of the line, I decided to spring for the full size version of the brush. I use it damp to line, you can makes a very fine line along the lashes with this brush, but I actually go over it because I like a bit thicker line which I wing out. Brush cleans easily; I definitely recommend!

I have this in the mini-size from a set and I had no idea how necessary it was until I got my hands on it. If you want to use the gorgeous deep shadows like Caviar as a liner, you MUST get this brush. It's foolproof. I dampen the end (no fallout then) and then smudge on the most natural looking liner. Love love love this brush.

I love this brush for applying Bobbi's gel eyeliner, especially when I want a thicker line than I can get with the ultra fine liner brush. This is the only brush I ever use when I am applying dark shadow as liner, and it works beautifully for this purpose. The bristles are very firm, which makes it precise, but they are also silky smooth so the liner glides onto the lid without scratching that delicate area of skin. I don't think I could apply shadow as liner if I did not have this brush, and Bobbi has some beautiful dark shadows for this purpose.
