I absolutely love this product! Not only does it look great on my skin and gives me a healthy sun-kissed glow, but I can also use it as an eyeshadow palette. I thought it was a little pricey at first but I still gave it a try. It was completely worth it! Use the lighter colors as a highlighter below your brows, and the darker colors on your lid. These colors just melt away with each other for a perfect blend. You can also apply the darker colors with a big blush brush as a bronzer and dab your brush on the lighter colors to use them as a highlighter on your cheek. Talk about versatile!

I love the shimmer bricks in general but the bronze is so summery perfect!! The color is sofresh and golden, not muddy or dirty like some bronzers tend to be. Bobbi's shimmer bricks are gorgeous in general, but I wanted something a little more natural for everyday. This shimmer brick (I almost wrote bronzer) is warm and delicious looking. It has a soft baked mousse consistency, and doesn't really feel like a powder at all. It's creamier than that, and not overly dried out. It adds a warm glow to my skin, and the individual bars in the compact work amazing as eyeshadow, even more so because of the consistency.

This is hands down the best bronzer I have ever used! Bananas for it! I am blonde with light eyes so in the winter I am not overly tan but in the summer, I get a nice color- this is perfect all year round! It gives you a nice sun kissed glow with no orange tint at all. It goes on perfect- no stripey look- and almost shouldn't be called a bronzer as that name makes me think of summer only OR a really awful look on most people with a heavy hand. The color is sublime. The highlighter (white) is the best. The shimmer looks great on cheeks, arms, neck & collar bone. Use the dark shade in your cleavage & a lighter shade on the top of your breasts= rock the summer dress.Even though the BB make up artist laughed at me I still use this color on my eyes. I saw an article on glamour.com this month advocating the use of bronzer this way to get your money's worth. Ha!I didn't give the brick a full 5 stars because every package I have ever purchased has broken apart horribly. No matter how gently I treat it, the color comes out of the compact (as a whole piece outside of the compact). Eventually this contributes to the breakdown of the brick & I have to keep the compact inside of a plastic baggy. If I exchanged it every time that happened I would be banned from my favorite dept. store!

This is one of my favorites from BB! You can use the colors for everything, eye brightening, eye shadow, blush, cheek defining, bronzer. It would have a 5 if only you could travel with it. I have had 3 of them break. Tip: Leave it at home but no worries... it lasts all day! :)

As I read through the reviews of this Bronze Shimmer Brick, I'm struck by how many different skin types can use it. Like many others who have written, I have fair skin and get freckles rather than tan in the summer. I find that the freckles are diminished somewhat when I use this product.I love the product's versatility. You can apply it "where the sun hits your face" like I've seen Bobbi demonstrate. But, in the evening, I use it all over my face and decollete or as a blush when I have a tan. The individual "stripes" are beautiful shadows for evening which is why some of my colors wear down faster than others.

I bought this when it first came out and it was the first of its kind. I was lured because of how pretty it is in the pan but wasn't into shimmer at the time so I bought it even though I wasn't certain how often I'd use it.Like others have mentioned, I used to have very oily skin and stayed clear of anything that made it look worse - like shimmer. However, I ended up using the heck out of this product - as highlighting bronzer, eyeshadow, body glow, I've even dusted it over my hair to add sparkle.I purchased the next two shades when they launched but I like the bronze the best and think it's the most versatile color-wise. Unless you're an artist, collector or shimmer-holic this could be the only shimmerbrick you'd need. OK, I had to have the one for body too - but that's it I swear :).

This is in my makeupkit for summer. It gives such a nice, bronze sheen to the cheeks which is ideal for summer. It warms up the skin, but without sundamage. I like to use it on my eyelids as well, it looks just like an expensive eyeshadow on. Even though I am fair, I can use a light dust of this, which is nice because I can almost never wear bronzer. My friends have complimented me on it and they like to borrow it as well when we are getting ready to go out in the summertime!

I have all the Shimmer Bricks Bobbi has launched, including the new Beach color, but I think the original Bronze color is still a great basic color that's hard to beat.It can be used as overall cheek color (with all 5 colors mixed with face blender brush), contour color (using darker colors), highlight color (using lighter colors) and as eyeshadow too. Some of the other Shimmer Bricks have similar colors in one paleete, but the color variety in the Bronze makes it a beautiful palette for the eyes as well.Some other favorite Shimmer Bricks in addition to the Bronze color are; the Nectar as a beautiful blushy sunny color, the Rose as a nicely pigmented blush color, and the Beige as a good candle-lit highlight color.As many of the reviews say, be careful when carrying around the palette though. The bricks are very fragile and can break easily.

This is a wonderful product. The colors blend to a gorgeous, shimmery light bronze. It is more pigmented than the rose, and leaves a nice golden sheen. It looks great on cheekbones and on my forehead/nose over matte bronzer to add a bit of shimmer. Absolutely gorgeous and glowing! Just a small amount is needed to get the most beautiful color and shimmer. Love it.

The first time I heard the term "brick" I wondered just how big this thing would be. But it's beautiful and discreet. There's nothing "brick-like" about the Shimmer Brick compacts: The container is the same size as a regular powder compact and appears to hold an equivalent amount of "Shimmer Brick". [ The compacts are all the same size and are easily portable. There's a Shimmer Brick for the body that is a different product altogether and its size and design varies somewhat from these compacts.]Each of the five separate bars of color in the compact shimmers. The whole compact is just beautiful. Simply lovely to look at as are most of BB's cosmetics. It's a bit sad to mar the surface to use it the first time!It's been suggested that these colors can all be used for eyeshadow. I haven't tried it yet but I intend to with the bronze -- it's probably an incredible eye palette! I absolutely love it for its intended use though.The product itself is quite lightweight. It seems almost more fine than loose powder. It takes very little to get great color payoff, as other reviewers have reported. A light hand and the right brush are imperatives! Also check your lighting before you apply; natural light is best according to BB. Put this on in dim lighting inside and you may be shocked when you look in your rear-view mirror! (Not in a good way.)The most apt description I've heard about the effects of using this product is that it "imparts the glow of good health." That's exactly what it does -- this stuff makes me look like I'm thriving.You have to try Shimmer Bricks out to understand the hype. For real. If you haven't yet just DO IT!! You will not be disappointed and I absolutely promise you WILL be surprised at the effects (but in a *very* good way).

I just bought a shimmer brick a few weeks ago and I love it! I always thought it was too teeny bopper to wear something that appeared so shimmery but when I finally tried it, I really really liked it. You can be somewhat selective in what colors of the shimmer brick you use so if you need more bronze or blush or even the lightest shade as a highlighter you can isolated those shades or you can just give the whole thing a few swirls and blend. It's incredibly versatile and fun even. Love this stuff!

The original and still my favorite for summer. When I first saw this product I thought there was no way I could wear that much shimmer on my face. But here is it, years later, not to mention years older and I still love how subtle this product can be. Its one of those products that adds something to your face without being able to quite put your finger on what it is!

I have a medium/to dark skin tone and I love how these colors have worked for me! It's amazing how versatile this product is since you can use it as an eye shadow, or under the brow, or even to highlight the top of the cheek bones (but of course not overdoing it). Trust me, this will last a long time because a little goes a long way. Besides the gel eye-liner, this is my go-to day-to-night product!

My first shimmer brick from Bobbi Brown was the Beige one, and I fell in love with Bobbi Brown cosmetics since! After using the Beige for a few weeks, I went back to my nearest Bobbi Brown Cosmetic counter, and purchased the Nectar and Bronze.I absolutely adore the Bronze! The pigmentation isn't too over the top, it gives me such a subtle, discreet glow that is warm and bronzy. Every time I used this shimmer brick over my cheeks, I get soooo many compliments! And always get asked what did I use, because it looks so natural. And I always tell them to check out Bobbi Brown because her products are fantastic! I think anyone can use this brick, it can be layered to your liking, its just a must have!!!!!!

I Love the Shimmer Brick bronze is awesome but the best By far is Beach!! Bobbi please bring it back! All of my girlfriends that borrowed mine and tried it LOVED it and we are all different tones and it looked great on everyone. I love the shimmerbrick on my eyes I use a little on my cheekbones when and feeling fancy.When I REALLY want to feel like a superstar I dap a bit in the center of my lips over a lipstick and gloss it gives my lips a pop that doesnt go unnoticed. I love that you can use this one products in so many different ways.Sometimes even dampen my eye smudge brush run it through the shimmerbrick just to intensify the colors everyone at work is always amazed and ask what brand of cosmetics I use.i've had my shimmerbrick going on two years and it has cracked dispite being dropped more than a few times . I always keep the little foam thing that comes in it so it doesn't break.

Great Color for Winter Blah Skin

I bought this a few months ago and have been using it ever since. I am lucky to tan during the summertime but, get drab throughout the winter. This gives me a wonderful sheen and color to my blah skin during the winter months. I want to get wild rose now since that color palette shows up on me and will be a great addition to my blushes. I love bb's blushes, all of them, the colors she makes are the best and I love that they stay on. Please bring more colors in the sheer sticks, they are great and an easy way to carry blush with you. I don't think you will be sorry if you try the shimmer bricks, if not bronze than any color, you can also use for eyeshadows. Makes me look a few years younger so will be getting more. thanks Bobbi

Nice Summer Glow in Winter

This is a great pick me up shimmer brick for winter. I use this with "almond" blush as the shimmer brick being a highighter along my cheek bones. It gives me a nice glow when the chilly temps wash out my skintone. Works also as a great eyeshadow as well. Bronze is a shade that looks well with a pink lip or mauve lip. I love BB shimmer bricks because they are great multi-purpose products.

I have used the bronze shimmer brick for years now and I hope it never goes away. Use this over top of Bobbi's new mineral powder foundation and you've got this gorgeous, luminous glow -- fantastic for summer! I discovered that this works much better than using a certain other mineral powder foundation which has the glow already in the powder -- it looks much more natural to apply it this way. Have fun trying this -- you'll love the results!

I'm done looking. This bronzer is perfect. It gave me the bronze color and glow that I am looking for. (Prior to using Bobbi's bronzer, I used another brand, which gave me a glow but made my complexion darker rather than "bronze.") I have a light to medium (closer to light) brown complexion, so I will assume this product will work best on that shade.

I use #4 Natural in Bobbi's foundation and this Bronze shimmer brick works as a blush/contour for a natural look or it can be used on top of a blush as a highlighter for that extra warm glow especially on top of a tan. It gives a stunning bronze-y gold glow to your skin! And the individual strips can also be used as an eye shadow as well.

I love this product! As soon as i saw it on the site, i knew i had to have one! My skin is medium to dark and this bronze adds a nice a perfect glow. A wonderful complement to my blush.
