I got this brush several weeks ago. One of the best face blending brush I ever got! The bristles are quiet comfortable while I am applying powders on my face. Meanwhile, it is dense enough to press powder tightly allover you face. Especially when I am blending the blush. It makes blush appeal very soft and natural.

I have about 50 makeup brushes, most are from Bobbi, but this one is THE one every woman should own. Seriously. I use it when I add bronzer or blush to smooth and blend. Then when I'm finished applying all my makeup, I use it to remove any stray flecks of eye shadow or to perfectly blend my entire face. If this is the only brush you can afford right now, get it! I have had this brush for about 2 years and maybe this is just the expected life span of brushes. But... it's starting to lose it's hair! I end up with little white stray hairs on my face. Prior to that though it's been a great brush. Blends really nicely and cleans to like-new condition with a tiny bit of baby shampoo.

I have three versions of this brush: one for my home kit, a mini one for my travel kit and a mini one for my desk at work. This is perfect for a light application of shimmer brick or a pop of blush. Just like all Bobbi's tools, no matter what the handle length is, the head is the same! The bristles are soft, and I have had NO problem with stray hairs. Just be sure to clean the brush with wipes after each use to keep it clean and supple.

I only own a few BB brushes and they are deeply treasured. They see mega action. I use this with the Shimmer Brick Compact. The high quality bristles really make a difference in how the make up is distributed on my face. If you have never owned a super high quality brush .. go for it. I plan on having this for many years. I bought this along with the original bronze shimmerbrick & it is perfect for that as well as a pop of blush. I also own a popular 'skunk' brush from another brand but I like this one better for shimmer application. Mine is soft and I've not experienced any shedding with this or any BB brushes. Not that it matters for application but I also like that the bristles are white - makes it an easy find in my stash. Mine's six or seven years old, used regularly and looks nearly new with regular, gentle cleaning.

I never thought I would purchase this brush because I wasn't very attracted to the whole Shimmerbrick idea in 2007, and I was under the impression that it was designed only for Shimmerbrick application. One day I was watching Bobbi Brown doing makeup on television and she was using it for everything …powder, bronzer, blush, and shimmerbrick of course. Every time she put powder eyeshadow on a model she would wipe away any excess eyeshadow under the model's eyes. The brush looked soft and professional. Bronzer and blush application looked easy, and everything she touched with it had a really soft look. I like that.To make a long story short…I purchased it, and I love it so much that I now own three of them. I also own three Shimmerbricks. (Changed my mind about those too;) This is a great brush…Bobbi Brown yellow wooden handle, well-balanced, soft bristles, and so versatile. A good investment.

I bought this brush specifically to use as a bronzer brush because at the time that I purchased it, I didn't like the design of the specific Bobbi bronzer brush that was available (they've since changed the design of the bronzer brush and it's much better!). This brush is wonderful because it is so soft, the perfect size and shape, and deposits a very sheer layer of color, which is perfect for layering my bronzer on without over-doing it. This brush also works well for blending - in case you applied too much blush and have harsh edges, it seems to work well to blend and soften those areas. I have had it for one year now and it's still in tip-top shape, no problems with bristles coming out or the handle warping. But this is the quality I have come to expect from BB brushes. I have an BB eyebrow brush that I have had now for almost 10 years and it still looks great!

The only reason I didn't give this brush 5 stars is because I wish it were a tad bit bigger. Overall, a great brush that feels good against my skin. I've been using it with my sheer finish loose powder, but plan to use it with some bronzer soon!

Although I have used this brush for bronzer and I have used this brush for powder, Bobbi has better brushes for both these purposes. The real beauty of this brush is to use it as a final touch--just to make sure everything is well blended and looks good overall. It works great if you get just a little too much blush on your cheeks!Worth the splurge, if you've got a little room in your budget.

Perfect brush for powder

I bought this brush for one purpose only, to apply my powders, since I don't like mixing up products (the bristles still keep a bit of colour like from blush or bronzer).I really love the white bristles, it gives a bit of contrast in my brush portfolio. And my powder looks so great applied with this brush, it's so soft! Did not regret the price tag!

I received this brush as a promotional gift. It's very soft & works well as an overall blending brush. I use it daily to apply a light dusting of my pale yellow face powder. I've noticed some shedding but overall it's holding up nicely & washes well.

Hairs drive my crazy!!!!!

I really love this brush and would recommend to my friend......however, the hairs from the brush are all over my face when I finish....this drives me crazy! I end up having hairs in my eyes and nose. Would love the brush otherwise. Still a great product, but hate the hairs!

Great Multi-Purpose Brush

I having been wanting to invest in this brush for quite some time now and I am sure glad that I did. I think Bobbi's brushes are the best, and are a great investment. They last forever.This brush is great for use with powder, bronzer, shimmer brick and even blush. It is so soft and deposits just the right amount of product on your face. After applying makeup it is also wonderful for blending so you have a nice natural look. I love it. I plan to purchase at least one more face blender brush!

I am in love with this brush! It works with my sheer pressed powder; my shimmer brick, and my blush (all from bobbi of course)! If you want a brush that you can use for more than one thing this is it. Other brushes I love are the eye blender brush, the foundation brush, retractable lip brush and touch up brush! ALL FABULOUS!

pros:

I bought this brush to replace another brush that i used for bronzer and i was surprised at how soft this brush was. It is smaller than my previous brush and i was able to put the bronzer in designated areas as opposed to my entire face. It blended well and I wasn't left with extra hairs all over my face. I am happy with it.

Smells really bad

pros:

I bought this brush because all the reviews were so good. The brush was initially ok. It shed all over my face but I figured all brushes do anyways. I washed it once using Bobbi Brown's Cleanser and now it smells so bad I can't use it. I thought maybe it's just a defect with my brush but my friend had the same problem with her face blender. I have alot of other Bobbi Brown brushes that I like but I definitely would not recommend this one to anyone!

This brush is good quality, and so so soft. Multi-functional: use it for powder, blush, bronzer etc. (too fluffy for powder foundation)I'd describe this brush as an iPhone: you can do everything with it, but it does not do everything in the best way. For powder, the brush is too big for getting in some precise area like around the nose. For blush it's not precise enough for easy even application, for bronzer it's just okay, for shimmer brick this is way too big for highlighting.I don't tend to reach for this brush everyday. If you have higher budget I recommend getting a powder brush, a blush brush and a bronzer brush each.I do find that I can live without this brush and it's not must-have for me.

Best Multipurpose Brush!

pros:

I got a small version of this brush with a set I bought years ago (same size head but just a shorter stem). I ended up buying the regular version because I loved it so much (I still have both too, so it's not like I replaced the little one). I have used it for shimmer bricks, bronzer (when I want it less all over the face and more just on the apples of my cheeks and nose), loose powder and blush. I'm currently using the smaller one for blush and the regular sized one for powder. The hairs are SO SOFT too (softer than the bronzer brush). It washes clean too so that the beautiful white hairs don't discolor. I use a tiny drop of shampoo to clean and make sure I rinse *thoroughly*. I lightly brush them on a towel and then let them air dry and they've lasted me for years. All around great product!

This is such a useful brush! I use it with the shimmerbricks, bronzer, and even for the pressed powder if I'm in a hurry. It is super soft and picks up the perfect amount of pigment with just a swipe or two. It's also easy to clean, with just a drop of shampoo and then I let it air dry. I love to travel with it, too, since I can use it for multiple products. A great multi-purpose brush of excellent quality.

I love how it applies my bronzer. It picks up a good amount of product but it's perfect for me. I also use it to apply the bronze shimmer brick on my cheekbones. I love this brush. I have to wash it a few times to get all the makeup out but it's worth the effort.

I bought this brush as my first powder brush, hoping I could use it as an all around product brush, and it dried my skin out while I had it on.. I don't know why, and I thought it make streaks in my foundation too, so I don't really care for this brush much. I still have it and use every now and again as a blush brush. I thought it would have been better, but I guess this one is not for me.

Perfect for Shimmer Bricks!

This is a goat hair brush and it's not going to feel quite as silky to the touch, nor is it as dense, as Bobbi Brown's Powder or Blush brushes. This is a GOOD thing for her shimmer bricks because that extra bit of resistance provided by goat hair will give more pigment lift from pressed or baked powders, and it will do better at gradual layering because it isn't so dense. I found the Face Blender brush gives a soft, airbrushed finish to her shimmer bricks without any blotchiness. It's also a great brush to buff layers of powders together and to smooth out color transitions. Lovely brush!

This a serious multi-tasking brush. Not only do I use it with my shimmer bricks but it also does a great job at applying blush. The bristles are super soft and not irritating to my skin. It makes blending of the blush and shimmer together seamless. Well worth the $45 investment.

Based upon all the positive reviews, I was a bit disappointed with this brush. I wish the brush head was a big wider/larger for better blending. The bristles are soft and I've only experience minimal shedding. I use the brush, but find that other brushes I have in my collection do just about the same thing.

I have other brushes which would serve the same purposes, but none are as good as this one. When I want my makeup to be perfect, the Face Blender Brush is always the one I reach for. It really is multi-purpose. I use it for blush, bronzer and shimmer bricks because it's the perfect size and the bristles pick up the right amount of product and blends beautifully. I definitely appreciate the quality of this great brush and wouldn't want to be without it.

I got my face blender brush as part of the brush set. I like the brush, but each time I use it, I have several bristles left behind on my face. I have tried to use the brush with shimmer brick and sheer pressed powder, but I have given up since I don't really enjoy picking off the bristles from my cheeks. I would try to exchange for a new face blender, but I'm not sure I can since it was part of a set. Too bad, since this is the one and only Bobbi product I've ever been dissatisfied with. Besides the shedding, the brush is well-made.
