I tried a sample of Luminous Moisturizing Foundation and loved it! I couldn't wait to try it every day. I wasn't a big fan of foundation before, but this one is special. It applies lightly but with enough coverage. It covers all the red spots on my cheeks but my skin tone still looks healthier and much calmer. This product was like an instant face lift for this 50 year old customer. I got a sample of this during the 25% off and I'm thrill how light and smooth this foundation goes on. I don't have to use a lot to get good coverage. I want a foundation that would last all day and give me the luminuosity, and I finally found it! My skin appears radiant and flawless! I am 66 and live in a dry, very cool climate and Love the outdoors, so I hike or garden almost every day. Before I discovered Luminus Moisturing Foundation my foundation would settle into the fine lines and smile lines and by the end of the day my face resembled the hiking trail map in my hand or the grainy mulch in my flower bed. Luminous Moisturing Lotion glides on and keeps my face moist and yet does not get sticky when I perspire. I purchased this foundation about 2 months ago and LOVE it! I had a bit of problems getting the shade just right by purchasing online, but when I did, it was perfect. I have super sensitive, aging skin (I'm 40) and this foundation makes my complexion luminous and does not break me out. As a 'freckled beauty, as described in Bobbi's book, I have always wanted a clean, natural, dewy look, while being able to cover imperfections. I love Bobbi's philosophy on mature women's makeup-we do want to look better, not necessarily younger. This foundation meets my very tough standards and often difficult to match skin tone. I love the way my face brightens up without being masky, the soft dewy finish that emphasizes my clear skin, without cakiness or sliding off. It covers ruddiness and doesn't bother my sensitivity/rosacea. I am trying some of her other products since I have been so pleased with this foundation. I love this foundation, I've used several different BB foundations over the years and this is my favorite. My skin is normal/dry, and I'm 42 yrs old. I love how I can control the amount of coverage and my skin does look luminous every time I use it. I don't like a completely matte look so this works perfectly for me. A surprising treat

A few years ago, my skin started to get drier and i started using oils to keep my face hydrated. I have tried many foundations, which claimed to be luminous and moisturizing...none stood up to their claim. Until now. I tried Bobbi Browns Luminous Moisturizing Foundation as a sample which came with one of my orders. I used every drop, and could not wait to place my order. Now that I have used the product for several weeks, I can say that i am pleasantly surprised. The product is moisturizing and luminous. The only drawback for me, is that i must build to provide the coverage i like. Not a dealbreaker though. I have used Bobbi Brown products for years, and have sometimes strayed to other product lines, but i always come back. Way to go Bobbi on this one!

Luminous Moisturizing Foundation provides the perfect consistency and sheer-to-medium coverage that falls between nearly invisible foundations and the heavier-coverage products. It's tactile quality is glorious--silky and sensuous, so that it slips on even drier skin quickly and seamlessly. It adds a softly suffused glow that lasts all day and never turns chalky or greasy looking so that, especially for a middle-aged client such as myself, it is very fine-line friendly. If you need an oil-free foundation for dermatological reasons, such as I do, but are tired of the lifeless matte formulas that feel tight and rough almost as soon as they go on, this foundation will be a joy for you to discover. You won't break out, and your skin will look and feel supple and dewy all day. Another plus is that it assimilates Bobbi Brown's blushes almost organically so that they do not appear to "sit" atop the foundation or fight it texture-wise. I have used many of Bobbi's foundations and find the colors to be very natural. The yellow based foundations are great for my skin. I tried this one because my skin is getting drier as I get older and the name of the foundation caught my attention. It goes on smoothly and evenly and stays on all day for work. I have been using the Luminous Moisturing Foundation since it first came out and love it! It is not too light and not too heavy and has staying power. For the most part I have a normal complexion with dry tendencies, depending on the time of year. I began using Bobbi's LMF a couple of months ago, and I have found that it offers my skin awesome coverage with just the right amount of moisture. Other moisturizing foundations I have tried just create an oily look, expecially by the end of the day, but this one doesn't! It looks just as great at the end of the day as it does early in the day. As with all moisturizing foundations (the ones I have tried atleast), its a little heavy, but totally worth it when experiencing somewhat of a dry complexion.

This is my favorite of all the Bobbi Brown foundations. The formula is not runny, which is a drawback of many liquid foundations - it is thick and somewhat sticky, but goes on smooth and leaves your skin feeling like your skin! Most importantly, it gives great coverage with only a tiny amount of product. The only drawback is that it doesn't come with a pump, so when I start to run low I don't know how I'm going to get the product out of the bottom! Overall - great product!

It's wonderful when everyone think you are younger than you really are because of the great makeup you use. I am no longer "old school" using products from those other companies. Bobbi Brown makes me look and feelyounger and I am loving it! It doesn't dry my skin out, it's not cakey and most importantly, the color choices are fabulous. As an African American, we come in so many shades and with my drop of Latino and European blood, finding the right color is very difficult....except with Bobbi Brown products!

I received a sample packet of this foundation and have to say I was really impressed with both the coverage and the finish (not dry or cakey in appearance). Instead, very soft and natural.My only 'wishes' for this foundation is a pump dispenser (which it doesn't appear the full size version has) and the removal of a herb-like sachet smell that is most noticeable when first applying. It does seem to fade (or maybe I just got used to it) within a short while of applying.

I have a fair complexion, and light freckles that I don't want to hide. I have often found that most foundations look far too cake-y and pasty on my skin. I tried the Luminous Moisturizing Foundation in Warm Ivory because I wanted a more sheer coverage, and because I live in a desert. I never would have chosen the shade that the Bobbi Brown specialist chose for me when I went to Nordstrom's to browse, --it looked too yellowy and tan for me, I usually just pick the lightest color for myself--but once it was on my face, I was amazed at how radiant and healthy a color it was, and how it wasn't far off of my skin tone after all. I love it!

Yes, I have oily (combination) skin, and I have used this foundation. I travel every fall and winter for business, and I have found even my sensitive complexion in need of hydration during winter visits to places like Buffalo, Green Bay and Minneapolis. It didn't break me out and gave me a beautiful finish. I suggest testing the colors though, because I find that even though I take Porcelain in compact and stick foundations, I use Warm Ivory for liquid foundations.

I had been using the Moisture Rich foundation but, when I ran out, I thought I'd give this one a try. I was especially intrigued by the description, that "it helps reverse the visible signs of aging." It really delivers with a moisturizing formula that seems to last all day. My dry skin really appreciates that. Note, that while the description states that it offers "medium-to-full coverage", I find that you can easily control the application and even get a lighter coverage if that's what you want.

This foundation is what I have been looking for. It provides just enough moisture to make my skin feel great, not sticky. It covers fantasticand is buildable. For me it is not a sheer coverage, I don't need concealer with it. Insetad of concealer, I found I can just build more of this and the finish looks great, no caking. I have combination skin, and so as much as I love how this product looks on, it is too moisturizing for my skin, BUT I love the way that it makes peoples skin look glowy and healthy, as if they have been exfoliating and drinking a lot of water and taking a daily multi-vitamin :) This will be my choice of foundation if my skin ever becomes dry! I first tried the Luminous Moisturizing Foundation as a sample that came in the mail with a few products i had bought. I ended up using more of this foundation sample than anything else!!! Its very moisturizing, I dont even have to apply a cream or anything underneath, just wash my face, apply foundation, and Im set. Its the perfect amount of coverage, not fake at all. It makes your face look perfect and flawless. My skin is normal with a little oiliness around the nose. I wore this foundation all day but I didnt feel gross at all by evening. Its great for all-day use. Cant wait to use up the whole sample and buy the real thing!

I love what this foundation does for my skin. It seems that my skin looks healthier with or without the foundation these days. Since I switched to this foundation, my colleagues have told me I am glowing. I'm 42 and had been prone to blemishes, but since I switched to this foundation in Warm Sand (previously used a different line altogether - a powdery foundation) my skin seems dew-y and tone is much improved -- breakouts are less even though it is a richer, thicker product than I have used in the past. More coverage. I'll have to see how it fares in a hot, humid summer - but definitely loving it now in the Fall and over winter.Been a long time since I've been so happy with a makeup product!

So after trying this during the summer and finding it almost too dewy and moist, I reached for it today and it made all the difference in how my makeup looked. It gives the perfect amount of coverage without looking heavy or greasy. My favorite foundations are SKIN, Foundation Stick & this Luminous Foundation. I'm so glad that Bobbi has kept it around. I was with some girlfriends, and one of them told me my face looked fabulous and wanted to know what kind of foundation I was wearing. I told her about this product. It is so smooth and stays on all day. I love it!!! I also bought the Hydrating eye cream and face cream. I noticed a change in the way my skin felt right away, and it smells great. I love putting it all on. I bought the vitamin enriched face bace and don't know how I ever lived without it. All of these really made a difference. I have a little red in my cheek area and once applied you would never know. I have a full set of bobbi's make up brushes and they make all the difference as well.

I have always used Bobbi brown foundation, but have used her lighter sheer formula. Being that my skin gets drier in the winter, the luminous Moisturizing Foundation was recommended to me. It definitely protects your face and keeps it moisturized, but I found it to be a bit too heavy and sticky for my face. If you have oily skin, this would not work for you. While this is a good product, I defiinitely prefer the texture and feel of Bobbi's lighter, sheer foundation.

I have a combination skin, but when it's Winter, it gets drier. This luminous foundation really helps my skin look hydrated and dewy even when the weather is extremely dry and cold. Very easy to apply with Foundation brush. Coverage is light to medium. My T-zone area is a little oily, so I add oil-free moisturizing compact foundation or stick foundation only on that area, then it lasts all day. This is my must-have.

I have been searching for the perfect foundation for EVER. This is it. I'm done. This foundation leaves others in the dust. Bobbi gets African American skin. I bought the almond, and it melted into my skin. This foundation is perfect because I live in cold climate weather and it moisterizes and evens my skin tone. People say that I have that "glow". Match this with her wonderful bronzer, eye corrector and concealer and you will look naturally flawless. The make up doesn't settle in my fine line area (love that). My only gripe-- her products come in small, packaging. A plus with this foundation is that you need very lucky. I would rate a 5!!! not a 4 as you see above. Excellent!

This has a consistency like no other foundation I've ever tried, and I think I've tried them all. I am 51 years old, have combination skin that is sometimes very dry and sometimes very oily, and very hard to find a color match for when choosing foundations. I also have ice pick scarring from acne, and large pores - this foundation does not sit on top of the skin and emphasize the scarring and large pores like most foundations do - it blends into my fussy, scarred, oily/dry skin beautifully and gives it a near flawless finish. With so many mineral and compact-style foundations available today, I was certain my liquid foundation days were a thing of the past... that is until I received a sample of Luminous Moisturizing Foundation. I've been converted back to the bottle! My 'old' routine included combining a brightening product under my mineral foundation - this did help brighten my complexion, but was an extra step and did not look as natural as the illuminating component in Bobbi's liquid foundation. There are many 'illuminating' products appearing on the market now, but with this BB foundation, the glow comes built in and looks 100% natural (many 'other' products do not). A soft illuminating glow plus great coverage and skin tone matching shades that moisturize? What more could a gal want?!

I was also aware of it being on my face all day. Maybe it is just me though. However this would be a good winter foundation. Has wonderful staying power, and did not rub off all day. I slept in it a few nights ago (ooops) and it stayed put, and none on the pillowcase. I would recomend using a powder to set it if it looks "too luminous" (I did) and the foundation brush of course!

This is a new product in my make up arsenal. This foundation is exactly what it says...luminous! It gives off a beautiful glow. Though, it can be a bit too luminous for some occassions. It looks beautiful in person, but does not photograph well. Also, I find it to be more of a 'moderate' coverage, even with building the foundation I found I couldn't get 'full' coverage (I ,personally, think that if it says 'full coverage' you shouldn't need much, if any, concealer for blemishes). I did an experiment with the foundation too, which left me pleasantly surprised, I blend a moderate amount onto the back of my hand and put it under running water. Even with running water pressure on the 'swatch' it stayed in place perfectly and did not even run. I also, lightly rubbed while under the water, and it stayed on! It only came off completely once I added soap. I was impressed, knowing that if I get out in a little rain with this on, it will actually stay on!

Unbelievably, beautifully blendable

In all of the many years I've been wearing makeup, this product is the most beautifully blendable of any I've ever used. It goes on so easily, blends so well, looks flawsless and feels wonderful to wear on my ultra dry, sensitive and aging skin. It is just the right amount of coverage, but not too much. Luscious.And since I've been wearing the Luminous Foundation (and using the Bobbi Brown skincare products) the nature of the compliments I receive has changed. It used to be folks said "You have beautiful skin (pause)...for a woman your age." Now they say, "You have beautiful skin." At fifty (mumble mumble something) years old it sure is nice to have the compliments shortened by those last five "qualifier" words. :-) I love this foundation!

I was on a hunt for a summer foundation that provides med coverage but not too cakey or easily melt off in the heat. At first I thought this might be too moisturizing for me but the Rep at the BB counter strongly recommended it so I decided to give it a try.I used the foundation brush to apply and then even it out with a sponge. I was thoroughly impressed at how this foundation literally turns my skin into silk without making my face too greasy through out the day. It also minimizes my fine lines and pores. It feels very light at the same time has great long lasting power.I am using Natural for my asian med tan skin and it fits PERFECTLY! It sounds silly but I am excited to wake up in the morning to apply this and the Pot Rouge ( my other new fav BB product ) to my face. I have not felt this excited about makeup for a while. I will definitely repurchase this item again!

I have very dry skin. And ever since I started looking for a foundation that didn't start to look powdery (even the most moisturizing foundations before this one looked powdery after a few hours) I haven't found anything better than this! And trust me, I'm no longer looking for anything else, after all, Bobbi Brown has an amazing shade Alabaster that matches my skin tone closer than any other foundation. It's still a bit dark, but at least it's not a pale shade that you'll only find on Pro stores or something! :) It's really lovely as it looks so natural and healthy and it does look like I have a natural glow... Oh, and the coverage! It's so moisturizing and it's still got an amazing coverage. I don't even have to wear concealer, mostly. The thing is, I can't find Bobbi Brown in Brazil. So I just have to wait for another travel to get another bottle! Or thousands of them! Can't live without, no further. Though the lasting is not like forever, the smoothness certainly is. If you're looking for a moisturizing pale foundation with a good coverage and a natural finish, that's it.

Lightweight and Moisturizing

I am very young yet skin-conscious and I always fear too heavy of foundation. However, this one is extremely lightweight- it literally feels like I am applying a simple moisturizer. Many foundations have a foul smell but this one's scent is delightfully sweet. I also have a lot of redness in my cheeks and it corrects that well. My only problem is it doesn't offer enough coverage to the spots that need it most. Even after using a cover stick and this foundation, my acne scars are hardly less noticeable. Perhaps I need a heavier coverstick for those areas. Overall, an excellent product.

I got a sample of this with my order and I ended up liking it very much. I've had some bad experiences with other BB foundations that made me look really chalky/powdery (with liquid foundation!) but this one gave me a nice glowy look. It has almost no coverage and doesn't do anything with redness on face, so concealer is a must when using this foundation. My skin has been getting dry lately, so I might actually try out the full product!

I like the coverage, however, I wish Bobbi would design this in another container. I think the consistency is too thin, but I absolutely dislike the the packaging. It is hard to get out of the bottle to apply with a brush without wasting so it has to be applied with sponge or fingertips. Would like to see it in a jar or pump.

The quality of the makeup itself is good, but as with other BB foundations that I've tried, the color varies significantly from lot to lot. The bottle I purchased recently is lighter and has less yellow tint than the last one. The bottles look like two different colors side by side. Lots should be checked versus a standard before they are released for sale. Recommended with reservations.

I was excited to find a foundation in a lighter shade to match my skin tone, and to find something that seemed to not appear "orangey" upon application. However I was disappointed in that the coverage did not seem to be as even, and was lighter than I anticipated. Like many other foundations (even though the bottle reads "moisturizing"), still it left my face rather flaky-looking after application (even though I cleanse properly and use exfoliant)! Also I think I am allergic to the product. Although I did not put the product in or too close to my eyes, they experienced a burning sensation whenever I used it. I also remember not liking the smell of the foundation. I prefer something odorless but I thought it had a peculiar smell/scent. Wished it could have worked out for me. The search continues....

I picked this foundation up a few months ago, as it was getting colder. I am very impressed. I have always been a fan of glowy dewy foundations but I have oily skin and usually they don't last on my skin so in the winter instead of using a liquid foundation I switch to cream to give my skin luminosity. However, this gives great moisture and decent wear even on my super oily skin...even without a primer. I will admit it does slide off and it does look somewhat greasy after a 9 hour work day. I would recommend this to other people with oily/combo skin if they love dewy foundations.

This is the best foundation I have ever used. I have used a lot at 63 yrs old. The other thing I have learned from BB is the moisturizer you use makes all the difference in how the foundation looks. With one of the new moisturizers on the market that not only moisturizes but also plumps your skin is what makes the makeup look soooooo perfect. I use a different brand now but when it runs out I will buy BB Hydrating face cream. The makeup artist I consulted said it would also give me this kind of moisture effect. I use warm ivory and I think this is the first time ever in my life I have been given the exact perfect shade for my skin. It's amazing when you are using your correct shade. I have become a complete Bobbi Brown convert over the last 4 months - first the skincare and now the makeup. I have very pink, dry skin and I was a little worried about trying the yellow-based foundation. It is a little more sheer than I usually go, but I have to say that my skin looks a lot more natural and healthy looking with this foundation. The pink peeks in a little more, but the yellow tone of the foundation sort of tones everything down. I like it a lot. I actually bought two different colors and mix them to get a better color.

I do use moisturizers but my skin still felt like it was pretty dry this winter and so I decided to switch foundations from the Bobbi's Long Wearing one to this. Right off I found that I don't need to use as much to get excellent coverage. A little bit goes a long way… and the dry appearance to my skin was gone with the first wearing. My skin looked like skin, with a pretty dew-y look to it - not at all dry or overly matte looking. If I need a little more coverage in an area, this product layers well without ever looking cake-y. It stays on too - IMO as well as the long wearing foundation. Having sensitive skin I am very happy to have found another foundation that I like and that doesn't react badly on my skin… Not sure a person with excessively oily skin would like this, but I think it should work well for most skin types.

I was a little hesitant ordering this online. I was scared I wouldnt correctly pick out my shade, but I couldnt have been more wrong!Just got this in the mail today and I am IN LOVE WITH IT! It matched perfectly! I've lifeguarded forever and have very dull, uneventoned, drap skin and I dabbed this on and it instantly gave a fresh glow and felt like it soaked into my skin instead of just sitting on top. It feels silky smooth and not cakey. I just wish it covered a little more of my imperfections but I have dark sun spots and extrememly dark under eye circles and it definitely lightened them up and with some concealer underneath I'm sure they wouldnt be noticeable :)

It's a luxurious feeling formula... the shade colors are delicious-looking. This stuff actually looks scrumptious! Sounds silly to say but that's the best description I can come up with. I just like the way this feels and looks all by itself. Nice shade match for me as well... but again my combination skin can't quite take it. Pretty square bottles. Good amount for the price. Quality through and through here.I like the finish quite a lot though. I may make an effort to try this for a week or two anyway... as I did with the Extra Tinted Moisturizer... you never know. I just seemed to get too oily for it the few days I tried it. Perhaps with a bit of sheer powder... ?

The formula works, don't get me wrong..but i hate pouring this product...i've used three different bobbi formulas for foundation and this is by far the hardest to control when it comes to amount. This is a huge con, because foundation gets all over the bottle and what not. It is a good formula--all of bobbi's are, but i would recommend the natural long lasting, or moisturizing compact over this one...

Luminous Moisturizing Foundation has been a blessing to me. I have some spider veins on my cheeks and I use this product to waft them away. I use it on my nose and a slight scar on my chin and it covers and blends beautifully. Let me first say, this foundation smells amazing! I'm not sure what it is, lavender maybe, but it smells great. Okay so, the reason I love this so much (besides the wonderful smell) is simply because I have very dry skin on my T-zone and normal skin on my cheeks and most foundations make my skin drier! Frustrating I know. But with this foundation, it doesn't make my skin look greasy or oily, its dewy and lush without looking cakey or like a mask. I recommend using a foundation brush for the best application and warming the product on your hand first before applying. This bottle will last a long time so its well worth the price. If you have combo skin, this is a great product for you. Especially during the dry winter season!

I had a sample of this foundation so I tried it and liked it. I made a special trip across town to buy this foundation at a Bobbi counter and I just love it! It glides right on, blends easily, and doesn't feel or look cakey on my winter skin. I get great all-day wear with minimal shine!Other reviewers seem to think not having a pump is a negative, but I like it. I just filled a container from Bobbi's "Empties" set and it's just right for my foundation brush.

I recently purchased the Warm Beige (3.5) shade and I can't believe I waited so long. In the morning, I wash my face clean, apply the BB Oil-Control lotion , let it absorb and then dot on the foundation around the eyes, nose, and chin area. It's so nice to blend in, and the coverage is medium (may be layered for more). I can still see some of my freckles but thats perfect for me - it doesn't look cakey then. Finally, I set the foundation with the Pale Yellow Sheer Powder. It lasts through the day - although if I go out at night, then I just dab on where needed and it melts into my skin. Highly recommend it if you're looking for something more than the Skin Foundation formula (I do use the oil-control lotion to help keep oil-slicks away though).

I just switched from the oil free compact, to this, and it turns out, I've been using the wrong foundation for a year! This one is so moisturizing, but not too oily on my sensitive, combination skin. I get a nice glow from it, but on days I want to be 100% matte, I couple it with a light dusting of sheer finish powder. It stays all day, and leaves my skin looking great through a 10 hour work day, and the gym!Took away one star for the price (still worth it), and the fact that liquid doesn't have a pump! A pump on the bottle would instantly upgrade my review to 5 stars.

I would change up my foundation once a week, i have tried high end foundations to drug store foundations. I was expecting my skin to look like a models skin in a magazine advertisement. Therefore, i could never find a foundation i was happy with. I have clear skin but uneven skin tone. I was looking at medium to full coverage foundations and it looked like i was wearing a ton of makeup. This foundation makes my skin look perfect! I have been using it for 2 years now! I am really porclean but i use sand because it gives me a bit of color without making me look orange. That was a big problem i had before i found this foundation, i would turn orange through out the day. I have normal skin in spring, in the winter i have dry and in the summer i have oily and i use this all year round. In the summer i use a regular powder to set it and make sure it stays on all day. As far as the finish goes on this foundation, it can be what ever you like. I bought this foundation with a desire for it to be dewy and thats what it was. I did not set it with powder, i put bronzer and blush on over it and it still stayed on all day, when my skin was not oily of course. When i wanted it to be matte, i set it with powder which i am currently doing. I still use bronzer all over because i am really pale. Another thing i love about this foundation is i have a problem with foundations containing sparkles or glitter. It does not look good on my skin and i do not enjoy looking like a disco ball, this foundation has no sparkles or glitter. It is smooth and has buildable coverage. It is a liquid but blends into the skin easily. It doesn't sit on top of the skin like some heavy foundations do. As far as application goes, i have used a ton of brushes with this foundation and sponges, for some reason i find that brushes dont blend in any of the foundations i've used into my skin, i prefer to use my fingers with this foundation as it melts it into my skin. I would say that applying this foundation takes

I have dry skin with a t-zone and this foundation tackles both issues amazingly! Makes my skin glow and I use a little powder on my t-zone, and no touch up is required. I love this foundation and have been using it for the last 5 years. Recently I ran out of it and decided to try a product that I bought at Wal-Mart, but it did not do what it claims, so I returned it and bought this foundation. I just had my baby boy 3 months ago... and needless to say my skin has been on the fritz ever since. It has been blotchy, dry, itchy, and I have been breaking out like CRAZY! After some intense research I came across this particular product- Went to Nordstrom's and thought I'd give it a whirl:) IT IS AMAZING!!! Everything has been burning my skin.. this calmed my skin down, and made it feel so soothed!! It smells amazing. It is light, but you can definitely build on the coverage. It does add a little moisture, but doesn't leave you looking oily... and it does give you a slight glow, but it's a mature glow- not glittery! I HIGHLY recommend. I have tried MANY foundations-all too heavy, or itchy--this did the trick.. ONLY down side is, I wish it were a wee bit more reasonably priced :) - I finish with BB loose powder and it made my crazy, blemishy skin look perfected- HONEST! OHHH and consider trying the cleansing oil, .and toner-made my skin feel refreshed, and renewed!!!

I have very dry skin. This foundation offered a nice finish. The word "luminous" was a bit intimidating; as I didn't want to look shiny. I also have the Moisture Rich foundation which I enjoy as well. It did just what I wanted; good coverage, nice finish, and non-drying. Would re-purchase. I have light blue eyes, fair skin and dirty blonde hair and wear Sand. Just a bit pricey, but since it does what I like and need, I continue to purchase BB products.

Let me first say, I am 42 years of age and had never worn foundation. I was "blotchy" after starting Retin-a micro again, and quite dry. My sister was getting married and I was to travel from my home in Austria to Tenn., I was excited about seeing her but my skin looked horrid. To say I am a "make-up minimalist" is an understatement. I am light hair, eyed and skinned, and normally use a blonde pencil on my white eyebrows, brown mascara, concealer if I need it, rouge, and lip balm. My friend told me to try BB, and I phoned, telling them what I just wrote. They prescribed this foundation, highlighter pen and pot rouge. All were the perfect colours. I now wear this foundation and the yellow pouder as well as the other items every day. My skin does not just look better, it feels better and I believe looks better when I take it off. If someone had told me I would like any foundation and consider it a staple,, I would not have believed them. I have nice skin and have always been careful with taking care of it, but hated make-up. I did not feel like I needed a foundation, and the truth is I can get by without, but why would I when this one looks and feels flawless. The customer service was also great, and I am still marvelling at how they matched the right foundation in the right colour over the telephone! I am now going to order more rouge and try a serum and eye treatment. Her make-up is perfect for people who don't like make-up, and want to look natural!

This is the most beautiful textured foundation for dry 50 ish skin, I have used other department store products and so happy to have found this. This also prompted me to go and buy powder, blush, concealor and the best was the Brightening finishing powder, it gives the skin a luminous glow and not to over the top pigmented. At first I thought the color is too light for my complexion and I would have to order a different color....but, amazingly, the color blends right in to my natural skin color and looks great. I was wearing Fair in Clinique because Light was too dark. I was concerned this would be too yellow or dark reading other comments. Sand is perfect, looks like part of my skin. Blends perfect. Skin feels refreshed and comfortable through out the day. My skin tends to be dry during winter and this foundation helps my skin stay moisturized and fresh. You can build up the product to have a more dewy finish. No pulling or dry flakes as with some oil-free foundations. My skin feels soft and smooth all day long. You will love it if you have normal to dry skin or combination skin. Since it contains essential oils, you have to use a good cleaner and a toner to clean it off at the end of the day. A bit pricey but well worth the splurge :-)Agreed with the other reviewers that a pump bottle would have made the product more practical.

The Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation looks light and naturally, yet covers imperfections. I always have problems applying eye liner to my dry skin but when I apply this makeup my eye liner glides along in a smooth even line. It gives me the extra moisture my skin needs. I had broken my vow to use only Bobbi Brown and lets just say I was very happy when my Bobbi arrived and I could toss the competitors bottle. When I came out of the bathroom this morning my husband said "Whoa, you look particularly beautiful this morning." Thanks Bobbi Brown!
