I have used blush brushes from three other major make up brands and Bobbi Brown's brush is by far the best. The biggest reason is that the Bobbi Brown brush does not "shed", which was the problem with the other brands. I would have little tiny hairs scattered on my face which is annoying after you have applied foundation. Also, Bobbi Brown's brush is soft and evenly distributes the blush so that you don't have spotty clumps that you later have to blend in with your fingers. I'm happy I made the switch.

If I was to make any change to the design, I might make the bristles just a little shorter for more accurate color placement. I have tried many make-up brushes and none compare to Bobbi Brown. Make-up goes on smoothly and no more brushes that lose bristles all over my face! I finally have a complete set and am thrilled. They may be more expensive but are worth every cent. I was always replacing other brands--not these!! Just make sure you keep them clean. I love Bobbi's conditioning brush cleanser for thorough cleaning and the spray for quicker clean ups.

I've never had an issue with Bobbi's brushes shedding or falling apart and this one is no exception. This is a nice, soft blush brush with elongated bristles and a rounded shape. It's great for powder blush and fits nicely in Bobbi's pans which may seem like no big deal but it's frustrating when a brush bleeds over the pan and into other palette items. My only complaint is that some of Bobbi's brushes have long handles, which is great for an artist but I prefer short handles (like on the Face Blender), especially for travel. I have seen some of these offered with short handles but the ones I own are not.

While I will admit that this brush is better than some I have used in the past, I honestly don't feel that it is as "life changing" as the reviews make it sound. The bristles are luxuriously soft which was a great bonus but I don't feel like the brush itself is that effective in giving your cheeks a natural wash of color. For one thing, I feel like the brush is too big for Bobbi's small blush compacts (or maybe the compacts are too small?). Either way, I fell like the ends of the brush bristles are becoming warped because of the way I must use the brush in the compact. While I do feel that the amount of color deposited is nice, I feel that the area it covers is much too vast. Also, after I wash my brush I noticed that the bristles begin the fray and leave behind nice little black whiskers on my face. I wish I would have spent my $50 on something else, possibly the bronzer brush?

My very first makeup brush purchase was a Bobbi Brown blush brush about fifteen years ago. Top quality that it is, with good care it is still in great shape. So I was reluctant to set it aside to purchase this brush.But after finally investing in this wonderful new brush I wonder what took me so long? My older BB brush was very good. This one is excellent.With softer bristles that grab just the right amount of blush from the container, the rounder head design is the perfect shape for applying just the right amout to just the right parts of your cheeks.As investing in good knives for cooking makes all the difference for how enjoyable it is and how good the outcome is, so does investing in great brushes do the same for makeup application.I can't think of a better tool for powdered blush application than this brush. And if you pro-rate the price of the brush over the years you'll have it, say ten or better, it's not even pennies a month for this fabulous brush.

I just received this blush brush few hours ago. After I opened the plastic bag, a strong strange smell came out. I thought it was just because the brush was in the bag too long, so I washed it several times with some baby shampoo. I've been looking for the perfect blush brush for a while. I hesitated buying this becasue it is so expensive. However, I must say that it is worth every penny.The head is the perfect size and density. It makes application smooth and easy. I've had the brush for about a month and so far I have not had any problem with shedding. Be aware that the handle is long. I personally like long handles, but the down side is that this isn't a brush that travels easily.

I have been using this brush for years and it is still in excellent condition. It doesn't shed at all and always puts the perfect amount of blush on my skin. Use the powder lightly and it looks very natural. Well worth the money.

Worth Every Dime!

I love this brush!!! I was not anxious about spending so much for a single brush, but after reading the other reviews, I decided to go for it and it was so worth it! This blush brush puts your blush exactly were you want it. The bristles are soft and don't fall out unlike cheaper brushes. I would highly recommend spending the money for this brush. You won't be disappointed!

I initially balked at the price of this brush, but eventually I added it to my BB brush set. I am so glad I did, because blush application with this brush is on a whole other level than with any other brushes I have tried. The brush itself is very high quality, and the way the bristles are cut round is perfect for applying blush just right. The brush picks up the perfect amount of product and blends it perfectly. I have yet to see it shed a single bristle, which is typical of my Bobbi brushes. Don't hesitate on this one, it is worth every penny!

Very nice brush and soft. pick up the right amount of powder - I use for pop up color for my cheeks.Side notes: I bought it online so got a few other samples. I have to say, samples from Bobbi B. are not very impressive, look cheap.

This brush is soft and contoured just right for cheeks, giving a soft wash of color without harsh lines or uneven distribution. The bristles are very high quality - the brush is worth the price, especially if you use blush every day. It is quite long though so it does not travel well.

I was so excited to get this brush. All the positive reviews gave me high hopes for it. Unfortunately it shed a lot.......definitely returning it.
