I have been a faithful user of Vitamin E base cream and my interest was peaked by this new moisterizer-I love it! Although I will never give up my love for Vitamin E , I have now found it's twin sister!This new line of moisturizers deliver all that they promise-I have mature skin and I use it in conjunction with the night creme from this collection-my skin never feels greasy or oily, just smooth and never dry night and day! I also have super-sensitive skin and , as with all of Bobbie's products, there is no adverse reaction; it has even toned down the redness around the nose area that daily stress puts there.Thank you Bobbie for another fantastic product that has kept me coming back for over 15 years!

I absolutely LOVE this new formula of the Hydrating Cream. I always found myself using alot of the hydrating cream and having to buy it frequently. With this gel cream formula I use much less of the product and still my skin stays hydrated all day!:-) It glides on smoothly and leaves your skin with a youthful appearance. I am 48 with combination skin, much oilier in the t-zone during the warmer months. Once fall/winter comes I start getting dry patches but if I use a heavier moisturizer it just makes me shiny. This gel cream is perfect--hydrates without oiliness, takes care of the dry patches, perfect under makeup. Love it!

I use complete hydrating product line. This gel type cream is great for under my make-up. I have extremely dry skin and gets oily around noon. So this works perfectly fine for day time usage. It does not get greasy on my face and keeps my face moist while my face suffered by make-up. But this is slightly too light for the night time since my face is extremely dry. So I use hydrating cream for night time along with "brown bottle" night repair from other brand. But for the day time, this is perfect and does have primer formula in it so it even helps make-up. I rated 4 stars because it does not come with cosmetic spatula. Spatula is necessary thing for the cream in a jar!

I alternate between this moisturizer and the hydrating face cream during the winter months, wearing this one on the days that I put makeup on that needs to last all day and into the night. Even after 10+ hours of wear, I have little or no breakthrough shine in my t-zone! I also love the way it goes on--smooth and creamy. I can almost hear my skin slurp it up! Great product!

I have very oily skin. But I still have some dry patches during winter time. I tried a sample of this new cream. It got rid of all of the dry patches over night and my skin feels so soft. It's amazing. I would recommend this cream to anyone with oily skin.

This is a lightweight moisturizer with a very nice texture. It works quickly to spot-hydrate and absorbs quickly too. I'm not sure about the gel base though; I think I prefer the regular moisturizing lotion formulas myself but this is very nice.Also: I'm not crazy about the scent but it isn't overpowering.

I got a sample of this gel cream when I was trying out the new eye gel which I so love too;-) This face gel combats the oiliness I get from most face moisturizers. It glides on and you don't need that much of it. I wish I got the 1.7 oz. jar of it which is not offered (you only get the one oz. jar) but I think it's because you don't need that much of it per application. I'd recommend it to anyone. The person at the counter said it's filled with antioxidants of vitamin C, E, and A. Bobbi's done it again:-)

I was previously using Vitamin Enriched Face Cream (aka Face Base) which I still love, but with the summer coming, I asked the BB rep about switching to this hydrating gel....and boy am I glad I did. This feels so cool on the skin, and hydrates my face without feeling heavy. I absolutely love it!! I use it in the morning with my BB foundation brush under makeup and it glides on like a dream. At night I use Extra Repair Serum and then apply this gel cream even combined they don't feel heavy or greasy on the face and in the morning my face feel refreshed and my skin looks great. The MUA advised that this would be a great choice for nourishing my skin moreso than the face base as the hydrating gel cream would absorb right into the skin and she was right. I applaud Bobbi and Co. for having such knowledgable reps in stores, without being pushy, they advise me correctly each time I want to try something new. Another winner from the Bobbi collection!!!!! ox

I was using the cream version until this spring. It just started to be too much as the weather was getting warmer and my skin is usually oily, except in the winter. I was purchasing the brightening products, and was advised try this in place of the moisturizing cream or brightening cream. I was advised to use my moisturizing cream at night only until the winter. This gel moisturizes but isn't heavy, it doesn't break me out either. I have been using it for the past 7 weeks morning and night as this provides the right amount of moisture . I will save my moisturizing cream for the fall and winter months. I am really loving Bobbi Brown skincare!

I absolutely LOVE the hydrating gel. The BB counter rep suggested I try it when I told her that I was noticing a little late-afternoon oiliness (I thought it was city pollution). She recommended the gel for my combination-sensitive skin and she was right-on. It's light-weight yet I only have to use a little dab; and I have had no break-outs or rashes. Perfect under the foundation, never looks dull or oily and my skin feels great. Please keep this product on the shelves!

I went to an event where the artist applied this moisturizer to my skin before the foundation. I was impressed by how my make up turned out and was told that preparing the skin is important. Thinking it was just a sales pitch, I bought the product anyway. I am glad to report that it really does moisturize nicely and absorbs into the skin instead of just gliding over it.

This is my morning moisturizer. I use it under my Vitamin Enriched Face Base for added moisture. I have combination skin and I have found that this moisturizer does not make my oily areas worse at all. It is just what I need for added moisture. Amazing moisturizer. It's very light and not heavy at all. It was just enough for my combination skin where I'm oily on my tzone and dry in certain areas on my cheeks. (I've been told I have oily dehydrated skin. Anyway-) My skin looked supple and felt smooth which made applying my foundation very easy which is how it's suppose to be. Honestly, if this product was discontinued I don't know what I'd do. I have to say since I've started using this product along with Bobbi's Skin Foundation, I've been getting alot of compliments on my Skin. Thanks Bobbi Brown!

I used to swear by BB's Vitamin-enriched face base, but then I realized I needed more moisture. I moved to BB's hydrating face cream and then tried a sample of this and now this is my new favorite. I just love the feel of it on my face, especially for summer. It is so incredibly light and feels so smooth on your face. I'm not sure if it will provide enough moisture for winter, but it's great for now.

I've been on the hunt for a great moisturizer for evening time since the one I had been using really wasn't all that great. This formula allows me to use it with my night serums without any irritation. A little goes a long way as you don't need to apply a lot of product to get moisturized skin. I highly suggest this one for night and the Vitamin Base for day since it makes for a great canvas for your foundation. Either way you can't fail.

I am so in love with this product. The gel cream is lighter than other creams! I really like it because it provides an excellent amount of moisturizer without being too heavy on the skin, especially under makeup. My skin never gets oily and never gets dry. It's absolutely perfect. (I have used hydrating moisturizer and in extreme cases, Extra Moisturizing Cream, but this is my daily favorite.)

I just finished up my 7 mL sample of the hydrating gel cream, and I intend to purchase a full-size jar when dry winter air is history. I have very dry skin, and I rely on EXTRA products to take care of it. I was skeptical when I got this sample, because I did not believe a water-based moisturizer would satisfy my super-dry skin. The first time I used this gel cream, I realized how wrong I was! The cream goes on so smoothly, and it absorbs quickly. My skin felt so soft as soon as I used it, and it stayed that way for most of the day (I tend to get dryer and not oilier as the day proceeds). Definitely a surprise to fall in love with this product!

I find this moisture doesn't stay with you and it also dries down sticky. I liked it at first at night but, started to notice dry patches after a few uses. I tried it in the AM under makeup but, it gave me poor application. I think it also has a strange smell. It is not bad but, just not great. Bobbi has so many great moisturizers I would skip over this for one of her others.
