The Extra products have long been a staple in my cosmetic stash. I just couldn't imagine that the SPF balm could be improved, but it has. This formulation goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly with no sunscreen 'sting' and works all day. The extra peptides have actually worked. My skin is smoother and feels great. Thanks Bobbi!

this is my first time that I was recommended this moisturizer..I have been using it for 2 months and what a difference in my skin.I am 51 and I always used moisturizers, but this one is the best. A little goes a long way. I have lived in South FLorida for over 25 years and was in the sun everyday and my skin starting noticable wrinkling in the last year.The makeup consultant at Nordstrums highly suggested this and I noticed a change in about a week...I will never go back to using any of the other creams that I have been using.. I have never been all that faithful to a particular moisturizer....until I tried this! Now I won't use anything else. At age 56, my skin is very dry. Now I get compliments on how creamy my skin looks! It has a healthy glow to it. In winter, I use Bobbie's face oil under this, and my skin feels and looks great. And, no fooling around with adding a sunscreen. It's built right in!

I live in Nevada where the temperature goes from one extreme to the next. I have started getting sun spots so this SPF version was needed. I have been using this product along with the serum for almost 2 weeks and my dry skin loves it. I mean it really drink it in leaving me with a dewy complexion and the scent is wonderful. It also help my foundation and tinted moisturizers go on smoothly. I will be purchasing this going forward. It was worth the investment.

This is the BEST moisturizer! I have a tried all of the Bobby Brown moisturizers and this is the one for me. Even though it has an SPF I use it day and night. My skin is sensitive and I live in a dry cold climate.

I bought like cream with several other BB products so I didn't realize the price until after I tried it a few times. I live in Denver and travel a fair bit, so my skin is always feeling dry and drab. After a few regular uses I noticed a huge difference in how my makeup went on and stayed on. I love that this has SPF, too. My skin feels great making this little pot of gold a regular in my daily routine.

Oh, this product is WONDERFUL! Even in the summer months my 55+ skin is showing signs of dryness, so I bought this to use in dry areas and all over, when needed. It's creamy and spreads easily. I can almost hear my skin slurping it up, especially when my skin is warm.The price of this product made me hesitate a bit, but I have found that a little goes a long way so I'm actually using less than I did with other moisturizers. And I'm using it at night too, because I'm not a fan of the EXTRA product without SPF. So I've been able to streamline my "kit" plus make my dry skin feel better. How do you beat that?

I was shopping for gloss when I asked the saleswoman if she had any recommendations for a good facial moisturizer. She coaxed me to "the chair" and assessed my skin with a simple swipe of the hand. She then pulled out this product, warmed it, and spread it on my skin. My face has never been the same! I absolutely love it! Admittedly, I was a bit turned off by the price, but it is worth every dollar. I'll never doubt a BOBBI BROWN product!

I wanted to hate this; I really did. I'd love to find good moisturizers for, I don't know $5. But, I LOVE THIS. And I spend the $90, because this product is the best moisturizer I have found! I have melasma (uneven skin pigment), so I absolutely need SPF. I have dry/combination skin that is sensitive to facial moisturizers, and this product gives that lovely, springy moisturized skin we all want, without stinging! It is not greasy, it goes on nicely. All in all, it's perfect and just what my skin needs! Oh, and a little bit goes a long way. So, when I've tried to go with a less expensive moisturizer (that left me sitting on my hands so I wouldn't wipe it off my face while it stung and made my eyes water), I find that I use so much of that other stuff to get the optimal level of moisturization, I realize that, in fact, I'm probably working my way toward the $90 mark with an inferior product, anyway. And back to Bobbi I march!

love, love, love this balm. I am 57 and have aging, dry skin. I used to love "character" lines but not any more and this balm helps reduce the appearance fine lines and makes my skin look dewey. The spf 25 is a must. I have not found anything to replace it. It is expensive but I would rather cut out Starbucks than my balm.

This is a wonderful product. I am 53 and have nice facial skin I get compliments on all the time. I'm fairly new to BB products. This product is a superior moisturizer and I love how it makes my dry skin dewey and flawless looking with no make-up other than under eye concealer and a dab of powder. It is pricey, but I blend it with a drop of Bobbi Brown treatment and also a bit of a thinner, different moisturizer and also spread it on my neck and upper chest area. I also love the texture and the smell. Love everything but the price. It's a bit pricey.

I use the balm with no spf during the evening but LOVE this product during the day. As other reviews, the texture of this balm is much creamier than the one without spf and my dry skin hasn't looked and/or felt so soft and moisturized in a long time. I haven't had any breakouts due to ingredients in the product and cannot say enough about how happy I am that I invested in myself with this purchase.

I probably never would have tried this moisturizer had I not received it as a sample from a previous order, but after wearing it for a few days during a particularly dry stretch of winter weather, I am now hooked. Is $90 for a tub of face moisturizer outrageously expensive? Yes, especially for a girl who is used to spending $13 for a bottle of generic drugstore moisturizer that is 4 times the size. BUT, I absolutely love the way this moisturizer makes my skin look and feel. My skin looks more supple, it feels incredibly soft, and it has actually evened out freckles and redness that I used to try and cover with makeup. I've stopped wearing any kind of foundation/bronzer/powder except on special occasions! In the past, by 3PM my skin was looking oily and I would need a quick dusting of powder, but now that the Extra Moisturizing Balm is a part of my skincare routine, I don't have any oiliness at the end of the day. Miracle!Though the container is fairly small, you don't need more than pea sized amount to generously coat your face.Since I've only been using this regularly for a few weeks, I have no idea whether I will wear it into the warmer months as its a very dense, moisturizing balm, just as its named. It might just be my winter staple, but for a winter moisturizer I can't find a single thing I don't like about it besides the price. But you get what you pay for, so I'm pleased!

I am a big fan of Bobbi Brown extra line especially this extra repair moisturizing. This is a pricey well worth facial cream that extremely moisturize my extra dry skin. I absolutely fall in love with this product and have been using it for 10 years. The product is very creamy but doesn't make my skin feel too oily. I addict to its quality with aroma smell plus SPF25. My skin looks and feels healthier since i've used this product. I normally apply the cream after the extra repair serum.

Yes, the jar IS expensive, but since you only need a small amount it lasts a very long time. I have combination skin that's prone to breakouts, but that hasn't been a problem since I've been using this product. I use it daily with the Illuminating Powder foundation, and my (55 year old) skin looks healthy and is protected from harmful UV rays. I love this product.

I love this moisturizing balm! I received a sample of it and became hooked so I bought my own jar of this product. From the first time I used it, I noticed how luminous my face looked. I have been using this for about a month now, and I love how my skin appears to glow and how my skin tone has become more even. I was taken aback at the price, but I feel it is money well spent. My skin is combo but as I get older it gets drier, especially when the heat goes on in the fall here in upstate NY. This year my skin seemed particularly dry and dull. I tried a bunch of stuff but ended up with this and the extra spf 25 tinted moisturizing balm. Lo and behold, both together were too much for me - too much dewiness; so I went with the BB tinted moinsturizer and kept this product.LOVE IT. I slather it on and it is never too greasy!! Love the SPF. Eager to see how it works for me in the summer. And good to know about the Extra tinted balm for when I really need it!

I used this moisturizing cream for about 6 years, and then stopped because I felt it was too expensive. Well after using a competitors cream for a couple of years, I coming back. I'm in my 60's and found that this cream is just much better for my skin. Even though the other cream was a deep moisturizing cream, it just doesn't compare with Extra. My skin looks much better, even after a couple of weeks. My skin feels happy. It is definitely worth the price!

I really love this moisturizer. It is absolutely perfect. It has all the qualities I am looking for in a moisturizer. It is not greasy, goes on smoothly, keeps my face looking supple, glowy and fresh. Most of the time, I don't need make-up but if I decide to wear make-up, my face looks great!
