Lathering tube soap is the right amount of moisture plus cleansing for my combination skin. I used to break out frequently, even though I am in my thirties. After using this product, I seldom get a blemish. And my skin is not dried out! Also, one tube lasts a LONG time. Only a small amount is needed, so this product is also a great value. I am through experimenting with cleansers--this is my daily go-to. It was recommended to me at a store event and I've been using it for over a year. Enjoy!

I have tried so many cleansers and approximately 10 years ago my mom took me to a Bobbi Brown counter for one of the special makeover events, when I was living on the east coast. I was almost out of my cleanser so I bought the Lathering Tube Soap. I noticed in a few days that my skin was softer & brighter. 7 years ago, I moved to New Mexico and my skin had to adjust to the much dryer climate, however, I did not have to adjust my cleanser. This cleanser rocks!

I have tried a number of different face washes, varying in price and this one is my fave! It lathers just enough without being too overwhelming and smells fabulous. It feels rich but then rinses clean and truly makes my face feel refreshed. I wear contact lenses as well and this product does not irritate them even if I get it close to my eyes. The packaging is also great because I feel like I get every drop out of it and in my travels, it has never leaked.

I have an oily skin so I am really worrying every skin care product even cleasning form.After wash my face with Lathering Tube Soap I feel it washed oil out from my face and I use really small amount. However, I can make lots of bubble. It seems to be expensive but it works. I believe I have a right choice.

Best all-in-one cleanser

I have used over 20 tubes of this product since the introduction many years back. A little bit goes a long way but sometimes I spoil myself and use it all over in the shower. Removes everything, including eye makeup, without stinging, clouding, or drying my eyes. Passes my #1 test for cleansers - does it remove all of your concealer from your brush when you wash it the exact same way that you wash your face? For BB tube soap, the answer is a definite YES!! That is how you know it is really cleaning your skin. I can wash my cream product brushes at night when I wash my face all with the same product. The lavender is nice and refreshing. On makeup-free days I'll sometimes do an extra wash mid-day and put on fresh sunscreen. Perhaps the best part is that it keeps my skin in balance so that prescription anti-aging products from my dermatologist can do their job at night.

I was first introduced to Bobbie Brown by my mother-in-law about two years ago. The lathering tube soap is ultimately the best face wash I have ever used. I have used several other top competitor's products to cleanse my face in the past, but the first time I used Bobbie Brown's lathering tube soap, all the other brands were in the trash. It is the only face wash I can use and know my face will be clear from breakouts. The lathering tube soap does not overdry my skin or leave it oily. It leaves my face perfectly hydrated and it takes ALL my makeup off with one quick simple lather. The lathering tube soap rinses clean. I never have a soapy residue feeling left on my face. I can guarantee I will never use anything else to clean my face. I love my Bobbie Brown!!

Foamy Fragrant Fun!

Ok, I have been looking forever for a foaming soap with a light fragrance that doesn't feel like it strips your skin full of every oil it has left. And, at the same time, actually cleans eye makeup off! I have tried dozens and dozens of face cleansers...from the cheap to the ultra expensive. This lathering tube soap is not only perfectly packaged with its sleek metalish tube - but, it contains the best face soap I have found. It is moisturizing, yet foamy, it doesn't sting my eyes if I happen to be a little careless....it is the perfect contradiction in one nicely sized bottle. I thought it was a little cheesy that I decided to buy it based on Kelly Ripa's endorsement in a magazine but I am so glad I did. It has ended my search for the perfect face wash. It is also my first Bobbi Brown item I've ever used. Needless to say, it won't be my last!

I just purchased this product for the first time and have to say that the description was on the money. Just a little goes a long way and the smell is so clean and uplifting you find yourself wanting to take better care of your skin. I'm not one for a nightly routine but that's about to change. It doesn't take much soap to create a rich lather and you know at the end of the day you are washing away a full day of make up and dirt. I'm sold on this product just wish I didn't wait so long to try it.

Once I used the Lathering Tube Soap I knew I'll use it forever. I have sensitive skin but always want to make certain that at the end of the day, all traces of makeup and dirt are OFF. The soap is gentle enough for my skin yet leaves my face completely clean. I love the fresh and clean smell and the softness of my skin after washing. And it takes just a dab. Lathering Tube Soap is tremendous for my combination skin and my best friend's dry skin- a rare find. It cleanses so well-even heavy evening make-up is cleansed with one wash and rinse, but it also moisturizes and balances my skin. It lasts forever because you only need a tiny bit to lather and cleanse so well...and remarkably, even my husband uses it-which is a real first because I have never been able to get him to care for his skin beyond sun block! Now he's asked if BB also makes a non-sticky/oily moisturizer and a shave cream! I slipped him the moisturizer w/SPF 15. This is beyond historical in this house and his skin looks and feels better than it has in years. Well done BB!

Love this product! I first tried this cleanser as part of one of my samples in a BB order. I finally purchased the full size. This has got to be either one of the best cleansers or thee best I have found for my skin. I typically have oily skin, but it does tend to get just a bit dry come winter time. This cleanser is not stripping at all; which can sometimes be a problem for cleansers geared towards oily skin. My skin is finally feeling balanced and smooth. I still do get the occasional breakouts, but that is to be expected with oily skin. The best part is a little bit does go a long way; which is great on the pocketbook! Fantastic clean scent on top of it!

This is a nice product. The scent is a little too strong for me, but not that overwhelming. You only need a tiny bit of this product and it did remove the long-wearing products. Great price considering that this little tube should last a while. No irritation, but my skin felt a little dry after using it. Within Bobbi's line, I prefer her new oil cleanser and I apply the Skin Supplement Serum afterwards.

pros:

This product is so gentle and less than a pea-size amount with water will clean your entire face and neck. I use this product with the buffing grains pretty frequently. The buffing grains make it a wonderful but non-irritating exfoliator. I live in the south where the humidity makes it necessary to wash my face often. This product is gentle enough to allow me to do so without stripping my face of all moisture. Awesome product for those with sensitive or fair skin!

It gets creamier and creamier as I wash and feels wonderful. This is a great cleanser. I was ready to give up on my search for a cleanser that worked well with my skin type (I'm still searching for the perfect bodywash), and this restored some of the hope I'd previously lost. My skin feels clean after I use it, but I admit that I absolutely MUST moisturize right after using it because my skin feels a little dry. Keep in mind, though, that I have combination skin and this may not happen to everyone.

I am soo glad I made this purchase. A little of this product goes a long way and my skin reacted so well to this cleansing. The soap is like using a cream to wash your face. It lathers well and completely covers your face, gentle and lovingly cleaning all the dirt away. This is a great value at an even greater price point. The packaging is great and substantial. I've gone through trying many products on my face that left my face dry and peeling before I could apply my moisturizer. This one gently cleans and smells great too. I can't say enough about Bobbi's products, I also use her skin care products that I just love. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great cleanser for your face.

I've been using Bobbi's moisturizers and eye creams and makeup for years and I just now bought this AMAZING cleanser.I LOVE the packing its super nice and I love the chrome-esk look to the tube and it only takes the tiny-est amount to do the job. We're talking about the size of a pencil eraser here people and it lathers like you would not believe. It leaves your face super clean but not stripped or tight like you just had a face lift or dried out to the point where if you smile your face will crack...I love it and plan on stock piling this. I dont know what I would do without it.

The past year I stoped using this in a way to save $$.WHAT a difference, within 2 weeks of returning back to LTSoap my face was clean and clear again. I started using Lathering Tube Soap by means of a sample received with a previous order. Once I used the sample, I realized that this is an item that I MUST have! This recent purchase was my second one, and I must say, this stuff lasts forever because you only need a tiny pea size in order to get a great lather. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple, not tight and dry like other face washes have. It removes all traces of makeup, and does not strip the skin of needed oils. I’ve tried so many facial cleansers from other brands and I have finally found the absolute best one! This is the best product and it smells clean and just amazing! I have used many cleansers and Bobbi's Lathering Soap is a must! It completely gets rid of ALL my makeup. With others in the past, I used to have to wash my face a second time to get any remaining makeup off. But not with this. It's gentle, feels like silk going on your face, has a pleasant smell & leaves your skin feeling clean, fresh & hydrated.My skin actually has improved using this and I am religious with my skin care regimen. I have ultra dry and sensitive skin. So I would not normally have purchased a cleanser where the marketing collateral suggests it is good for combo skin, as the write up for this cleanser does. But I received a free sample with a recent Bobbi Brown makeup purchase and figured I'd give it a try for a couple of days. I'm so glad I did...I'm a fan!This is a wonderful cleanser, just a little bit applied on your damp face and massaged with your fingers creates a lovely, generous, hydrating lather that takes off every bit of makeup and rinses away perfectly to leave skin smooth and soft as the proverbial baby's bottom. Lovely aroma too - it just smells clean and refreshing.From my experience, this is a winner even for those with the most sensitive, fragile skin.

I absolutely love this cleanser! I haven't ever used something like this before. It has an amazing texture, creamy and I love that you only need a pea size amount to get every last bit of makeup off, even stubborn eye makeup! I leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. I have probably purchased every facial cleanser available on the market over the years. From expensive cosmitic lines "guaranteed" to improve skin tone, moisturize, exfoliate, etc., to the inexpensive lines available in drug stores and NOTHING works as well as this product does for my skin type (drier with light oil in t-zone area). This is a good cleanser and lasts forever. I bought my last tube nearly one year ago and on average I used it once a day with my Clarisonic. It leaves my skin soft and moisturized, never dry. And it smells very nice. At the rate of use, it is even less expensive than drug store brands.

Just kidding. The lather *is* one of this cleanser's most enjoyable properties though -- rich and silky and luxurious and lasting... I love it and I love the scent.[There seems to be a bit of an "aromatic theme" to some of BB's skincare products; they sort of go together scent-wise in a delightful way. The scent is something very light and fine like lavender with a background of very lightly citrus and something I can't identify... bergemot? It's delicious... and the products I've noticed it in are the lathering tube soap... the hydrating toinc... the gel moisturizer and night moisturizer... oh also the brightening face cleanser... the oil free spf face lotion... just all kinds of stuff. Love that.]The tube soap itself is classically simple and effective -- as one other reviewer noted your skin actually does get squeaky clean. When I'm splashing my face to rinse after washing my skin does in fact squeak. It doesn't feel tight once it's dry.I follow with Hydrating Face Tonic then Extra Serum then Hydrating Gel Moisturizing Lotion. [My comma key is missing; please forgive my freaky punctuation and compound clauses]. At night I substitute either Vitamin Enriched Face Base or the Night Moisturizing Lotion for the Hydrating Ge. I have combination skin and used to wake up with oily skin. Since I've been using BB skincare my face and neck are always soft and my face doesn't even GET oily anymore... probably because with the very regular thorough cleansing there's no clogged pores or drying out (which results in oil over-production in the T-zone; that much I know). None of that at all. I have great skin! Even if I skip a morning or evening for some reason I still keep the clean skin almost all the way through to the next scheduled wash... by the time I get there I'm beginning to get oilyh around the nose and forehead.I absolutely credit the cleansing step of my facial care routine for this. First let me say, as much as I love BB products, I am picky and I don't hesitate to return an item I don't like given the price point. I love this cleanser. I am in my early 40s and have sensitive, normal/dry skin. This is cleansing but not stripping. My face feels clean but not a hint of a flake or dryness. I think I might need something else in the winter but for warmer months, this is a keeper.

Generally I quite like this product. It has a pleasant smell, lathers very well, and clean my skin deeply. It does a great job of removing impurities from my skin after a long day outside. However, since my skin is a bit sensitive and dry, after cleansing using this product, my facial skin feels a bit tight. Due to this reason, the overall performance of this product is not as great as I expected. However, other than that there is nothing to complain about it.

I have used a specific face wash that is very popular and says it'll clear skin overnight. That worked years ago on me and stopped working about a year after starting it. Gentle Cleanser and Smells Great

I absolutely love this cleanser. When I first bought it I was thinking it seemed expensive for such a small tube but when I received it and started using, I realized it was worth every penny! Also, you only need about a pea sized amount to wash your face so I can that this one tube will last a very long time. This cleanser is gentle but yet makes my skin feel clean. It also smells wonderful! I would highly recommend it. I follow this up with the Hydrating Face Tonic and then the Hydrating Face Cream (at night) or the Vitamin Enriched Face Base (in the morning before makeup). I have combination skin and try to use oil free products when available. I wasn't sure if this routine would be too much moisture, but it's not. It's wonderful!The only con, if there is one, is that this cleanser is not strong enough to remove eye makeup, specifically mascara and long wear eye liner. You need to apply eye makeup remover first, then this cleaner does the rest of the job.

This cleanser is luxurious, silky and has a pleasant, fresh coconut scent. It's a great value since the tube costs $26 and lasts a long time - you need only a pea-sized amount. If you want to pamper your skin, keep it clear and soft, enjoy a cleanser that lathers well (but of course, is not a true 'soap'), then this is for you. Usually I would have skipped washing my face at this point if I haven't already but ever since I purchased this face wash I want to make the effort to go in the bathroom to clean my face. I have suffered from acne since I was a teenager and I have had never experienced a product that makes my skin feel so clean, soft, and minimizes the size of my pores. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I got my mother using it because she heard my rave reviews and she feels the same way too who also suffers from adult acne.

I love BB products but I couldn't use her face wash b/c it broke me out (my skin is pretty clear overall so when I say breakout it really means a few zits). I used it for probably 30 days just to make sure it wasn't other factors that were encouraging my breakouts but my face just never really cleared up until I stopped using it. I use her foundations, powder, night creams, eye creams, and day creams/primers and they are absolutely wonderful. I'm not sure what the deal was...

My skip type is very oily. This is a great soap because it lathers up really good & your face feels so clean after washing. Really takes care of the oil with out any irritation or drying out my skin. This soap is the only soap I will ever use!

Had so much problems finding a great cleanser, but think I found a good product! Love that it really does lather up like a real soap and feels like regular soap but doesn't have the negatives from regular soap (the drying and tight feeling). It leaves your face super soft and clean feeling! Not tight. A little bit goes a long way and cleans fast once rinses off.

Let me just say- A little goes a LONG way!My skin had been so dry- normally dry in certain areas then, because of medication, weather, etc if was even worse all over my face. I admit I was a little reluctant because of the price. However, I can say it is so worth it! You only need a small amount to wash your entire face. You will instantly feel the difference once you rinse.It makes your face smooth, fresh feeling. I am hooked and will be reordering this when I run out. Another GREAT BB product that delivers!

I got a sample of this cleanser while ago, didn't bother using it. It was a wow factor to me. I only needed to use grain size amount. It went very smooth over my face, cleaned all my make up and left my face very moisturized.
