I am so thrilled! I have oily skin, and I have tried all different kinds of tinted moisturizers, and all of them have been too oily for my skin. Bobbi Brown's Oil-free Tinted Moisturizer is PERFECT for me! The ingredient list in this product, to me, is stellar. Besides great sun protection, it also has lots of good antioxidants and peptides. This is a little more pigmented than I would like; I expected "tinted" to be more sheer. Also a bit on the heavy side moisturizing-wise. Still a really nice quick alternative to going bare-faced on days when you're pressed for time or just going light with the make-up.I really enjoy using this. The SPF is a nice bonus. Not crazy about the scent but I will definitely buy this again. Also the range of shades is impressive! There's something for everyone.

I ordered the Light to Medium Tint. I've been waiting for an oil-free tinted moisturizer and this is a great one to use for my skin type. I have the oily t-zone with light freckles on my cheeks. This TM is light but evens out the skin just enough - gives my face a natural finish without powder. Oh, and I don't have to use much so this tube will last me the entire summer - woohoo!

Great product! Pretty pigmented for a tinted moisturizer, and looks dewy and clean on the skin. I have both the regular and oil free, and the oil free is ever so slightly darker in the same shade (Alabaster), but not noticeably. It wears very well and feels very light on the skin, which is surprising given the coverage. Love it for summer!

After trying the new tinted oil free moisturizer, I think I will stick by the original. I guess my skin is dryer than I thought, so this would probably be great for those with more oily skin. Just a heads up. I found this runs darker than the original. I wear a light in the original and I needed th extra light in the oil free.

I've never done tinted moisturizers before this one because I was never able to find one that matched my skin color well enough. So, during the summer I either wore regular liquid foundation or just an SPF moisturizer, neither of which totally satisfied me. The foundation felt like it was meting off when I got too hot and I didn't have enough coverage with just the moisturizer.This way I get my spf, moisturizer, and sheer coverage. The oil free coverage makes it EVEN better. This is my summer {if not year-round} make-up essential.Thanks Bobbi!

So after hearing that Bobbi was releasing an Oil free version of her famous tinted moisturizer, being someone with combination skin I knew I had to make this part of my daily routine. And I have NOTHING bad to say about this formula. It gives just enough moisture without being shiny and wears incredibly well all day. It does not control oil and makes no claims to do so, so don't buy this expecting it to. I set mine with the sheer finish powder and it wears like a dream. I am also LOVING the new packaging! Now I don't have to worry about this coming open in my makeup-bag like the previous version. For me this gives the best naturally beautiful quick look.A word of caution, the color range in this since it's oil free runs a half to almost a full shade darker than the original so make sure to get re-matched. I wore "Light Tint" in the original and now have to wear "Extra Light Tint".

So, the consistency is ok, but the shades have the same name as the standard tinted moisturizer, leading you to believe they'd be the same. You'd be wrong - by about 2 shades too dark. Bottom line: don't order without testing in store first for correct shade.

I love the texture of this and how it looks on the skin being oil free, but having been using the other tinted moisturizer from bobbi, I went with the color I always have. I used the medium tint before with the oil tinted moisturizer and got the medium tint in this one, but it's MUCH DARKER on my skin than it had been with the other and doesn't match. Unfortunately, I had already opened it and threw away the packaging, otherwise I would've returned for a shade lighter...

I bought Extra-light tint, but it may be a little dark. I am going to purchase Alabaster soon to lighten up the Extra light. I slick on in the morning, set with powder and I am good to go.

I cannot say enough good things about the oil free tinted moisturizer! To start, it gives perfect sheer coverage. Makes my skin look even, soft, and glowy. I have a porcelain complexion and the alabaster tint is a perfect color match for me. I also have oily skin and this product stays on well throughout the day with good coverage. My face is NOT an oily mess by the end of the day as it has been in the past when I've tried other tinted moisturizers. I have always worn a heavier foundation but I have ditched it since trying this product. I also think my skin is less breakout prone from this product because it is light (but still gives good coverage.) PLEASE DO NOT EVERY DISCONTINUE THIS BOBBI!

It you can't smell it than you'll probably love it b/c it really is a great formula with nice coverage considering its a tint. Sadly it didn't work for me. Great texture; weird smell

This would be a great tinted moisturizer if it wasn't for the smell. It applies smoothly and looks great by the end of the day. Unfortunately, the medicinal (or gasoline) smell is overwhelming. It lingers after a few hours. I was hesitant to hug my relatives because I was conscious of the smell. Normally, I'm not sensitive to scented makeup but this is kind of strong. I hope Bobbi will address this issue. It really has a great texture. I'm glad it works for others.

My daughter recommended this product to me. She has used Bobbi Brown for many years. I had moved to LA from Connecticut and found my moisturizer too heavy and sticky for California heat!I love the way my skin feels with the moisturizer and it gives my ( still pale! ) skin some color! The SPF15 is a wonderful extra since most of the creams I have tried that offer sun protection for the face are greasy or sticky. This is my first Bobbi Brown skin product (although I have many of their cosmetics ) and I am thrilled with it.Also I have to commend the excellent Bobbi Brown representative at Saks in Stamford, CT. She knew her product and took a great deal of time with me all without the " pushy hard sell". When she realized the color I needed was out of stock, she told me to go to the website and order online. Great service. Nice, simple uncluttered website too. Props to Bobbi Brown.

Skeptical before my purchase. Wondered if a 'tinted moisturizer' would provide adequate coverage... well it does. My routine is a light layer over my entire face. Areas on my cheeks where I have discoloration, I just add a 2nd light layer. My shade is Deep tint moisturizer coupled with almond corrector/concealer and deep bronzer equals a soft, glowing, natural, flawless skin tone. I wear Almond Shade in foundation stick, natural finish foundation and/or illumination powder. This stuff surpasses all of those formulations (which by the way I like alot). Thank you Bobbi soooo much! This stuff rocks!

I asked for a sample of this at my local BB counter since I didn't want to purchase an entire tube if I didn't like it. Well, I plan to head straight back to that counter to purchase a full tube because this tinted moisturizer is fantastic! It goes on evenly, keeps my skin looking natural and even does a fairly decent job of covering up my somewhat large pores. On a hot summer day I just smooth this on, add a light dusting of powder and I'm good to go. Love this!!

Even though I read other reviews, I didn't heed the advice to go one shade lighter. Well, they were right! The Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer runs darker, so pay attention ladies — go lighter than you think! A little goes a long way and it has great staying power.

I was a little disappointed at first when the shade that the online chart suggested was a little bit to bright for me.. I wear almond in skin foundation, so the chart said deep. But the lady at the counter said that my skin was very pigmented & said rich tint would work best for me & voula! It blended right in.. I really like it! I noticed as these Alabama days are getting hotter, my face gets shinier mid day.. Since I have been using this product, the shine is very very minimal & sometimes not at all! I just received this product yesterday, and I absolutely love it. I am a print model, and I wanted something that is effortless but natural-looking. When I found out the BB had an oil-free version of their tinted moisturizer, I headed straight to my nearest BB counter. I have always had nothing but amazing results when using BB, so there was not a doubt in my mind that this moisturizer would join my arsenal of everyday beauty products. I was not disappointed. This glides on like a dream! Its a lot thicker than I imagined, and it doesn't really moisturize my skin-but it looks and feels amazing on! It being thick is not necessarily a bad thing, its just that other tinted moisturizers I've tried in the past have been reaaally runny/watery, greasy, and didn't provide an iota of coverage. I love BB's because it manages to provide amazing coverage while still being light and sheer. It looks sooo natural and my skin glows when I wear this. Definitely a must have for summer! Its your skin, but better.

I have been waiting for Bobbi's oil free version of the tinted moisturizer...it is perfect for those summer days when you don't want too much on your face...and it covers well and stays on really well. I have combination, break-out prone skin that is extremely sensitive. My skin will react if I look at it the wrong way. I also have issues with eczema. This product is incredible!! I have been using the Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer in Extra-Light(Warm Ivory in Foundation shades) and absolutely love it!! I have had no problem with sensitivities at all. The product goes on nicely and evens out my skin tone, and can be layered for additional coverage where I need it.. It gives a nice, natural glow to my skin and lasts the entire day-even in 100 degree temps! This is my new everyday foundation and will be using this product year-round! Thanks Bobbi!!

And I didn't think I would like it but much to my surprise, I LOVED IT!It was perfect for days I am in a rush or don't feel like putting on foundation--its light and gives me enough coverage. Who knew that a tinted moisturizer could be as great as skipping out on foundation and powder?! Also, it withstands the heat of this awful Texas summer without melting off my face but staying dewy and soft.Another Bobbi product that I love and I cannot wait to place my order for the full size version!

The porcelain was definitely too light but the right tone, and the next one up was too dark and a little too pink for my skin. If the color was right it would have been a keeper...so if you can find a good color match the product is great!

I am normally a Porcelain skin tone so I tried the Very Light Tint first and found it to be too dark. After speaking to an artist online, I found out that the Alabaster tone is considered suitable for Porcelain. I ordered the Alabaster and am very happy with the match. I love that it is oil free and I wear it under my foundation. It creates a nice base as well as helping to even out my skin tone. I have a few acne scars and some red blotches on my face that aren’t covered by this tinted moisturizer but it definitely does help.

I love this product. The texture is really nice. I had to go a shade lighter as it's a tad dark, but I do use two shades blended as I go from a slight summer tan to a paler fall skin tone. It evens out my skin as I have some rosacea. I just add a little foundation on my nose and that's it. It absorbs well into my oily skin.

pros:

I thought this might stay better in such humid weather, but I found it to be too drying for me. I actually have to mix moisturizer with it. I have combination skin that is very sensitive. I got both the regular tinted and this. I like the regular better I think. I probably should have returned this, but it's too late now. So, it works to add a little color with my moisturiser, but then there is no coverage. This would be great for oilier skin types though! Or normal ones that want a little more staying power and not a lot of coveraage.

This tint is slightly darker than the name implies. I am normally a medium tan, so I use light to medium under my eyes and medium on the rest of my face. When I want a little extra coverage, I add the mineral makeup in medium. Great finish - not too dewy, not too matte.

Great TM With Natural Coverage!

Super product. This is my go-to daily TM. Even at 58 and postmeno, my skin still "eats" most face makeups, especially TMs. This one lasts most of the day with few touchups. After cleansing in the morning I put it on, adding a bit of concealer for any super spotty areas. Then it's the Bronze or Rose Shimmerbrick and a bit of loose powder. I love this TM not only because it's longer lasting than others, but also because it's a multitasker with the SPF and just a bit of moisture with the coverage. This TM is just enough polish and protection for my daytime face, plus it does not rub off on my cell phone. As the other reviewers noted, this TM runs dark; go a shde or two lighter than usual.

I bought this product over the summer and haven't used up the generous sample that was given to me yet. This is an indication of how little you have to use of this product. I'm a full coverage girl so I like the texture and the coverage of this product compared to all of the other tinted moisturizers that I tried that had very little color.This product is very natural looking and I just might wear it through the winter..although Bobbi always comes up with something new that I just can't resist purchasing!This is a great go-to item when you want a bit of color but don't want to be fully made up.For travel I have the sample size BB container and I fill it - very convenient for touch ups.

I have pretty good skin and like sheer coverage. I have used BB Skin Foundation, which I do like, but found I get shiny by midday. Other tinted moisturizers don't come in enough color options, or don't have adequate sun protection. This one hit it out of the park! Great color match, SPF 15 (although I still wear something underneath b/c I don't apply very heavy), and looks good all day long! You should definitely refer to the color chart for this product to get the right match. This gives more coverage than you might expect for a TM, but still looks very natural.

I went to purchase this with high hopes. I liked Bobbi's Tinted Moisturizer except for the fact it made me shiny by mid day so this seemed to be the perfect thing.It appears that Bobbi's Tinted Oil-Free Moisturizer runs a shade dark. I normally wear Alabaster but was unable to in her Oil-Free as it was too dark. I hope this will be fixed soon.

I am surprised at the negative reviews! I am really happy with this TM and I have tried several, and this is the only that has not made me break out. I think it lasts all day and gives me a nice glow. I actually think it lasts longer and looks more natural and provides more coverage on me than the Natural Finish foundation. I do agree that it runs dark, but I just mix Alabaster with Extra Light Tint and it is perfect. I love that it is oil free too.

When the artist suggested this product for me I thought she was crazy, my face is an oil slick and It just sounded like there would not be enough coverage but I was so WRONG, this product is wonderful on my oily skin!! The coverage is good, and it doesn't make my skin more oily in fact I think its helped with my oil, it seems to keep it at bay longer than any other foundation I've used. I would wear Sand in any other fdt and wear Extra Light Tint and its a perfect match.

There isn't a BB product that disappointed me till this one. I received a great color match but after I allowed this to set I still felt it on my skin....it felt like a mask and later in the day I had noticed that my face had a slight orange tint to it that didn't go away till I washed my skin that evening. Within 4 hours my skin was an oil slick despite the temp outside being 50 degrees. Hopefully this product will be perfected later down the line. I was sad to return it because I had high hopes for it.

I am 99.999% sure that after I finish using my BB Long-Lasting Natural Finish foundation, I will never put anything on my face other than this product. I have extremely oily and acne-prone skin and am VERY particular about what goes on it. Not only did this moisturizer glide on smoothly and blend PERFECTLY with my complexion, it gave me this radiant, picture perfect "look" in ONE MINUTE. I am super, SUPER pleased!! Having an ethnic complexion, I found it difficult to buy great products for my face until I started using BB. Again, I am a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER :).

I use the medium tint in the regular tinted product and ordered the same shade in the oil-free version. It is much too dark. I am holding onto it in the hopes that I can use it in the summer when I have more of a tan. I just hate the hassle of having to return things so it has just been sitting in my drawer.

I was happy when Bobbi came out with a Tinted Moisturizer for oily skin, and rushed to pick this up in Extra Light Tint, a great truly neutral shade for ivory skin. The color match is superb for me. This moisturizer doesn't break me out, either, which is great. However, the finish of Skin Foundation is much smoother and makes my skin look healthier, therefore; I think when I've used up my oil-free Tinted Moisturizer I'll opt for Skin Foundation in Sand instead of coming back to this.

I have been using the regular tinted moisturizer for a couple of years but have found that my face gets much too shiny during the day now. I just bought the oil-free tinted moisturizer. Since BB has recently reformulated these products, I strongly advise you to get a match in the store if you can before purchasing. Don't get stuck on the names of the shades or what you used to use. Be open to change!I used the "Dark" tint in the regular formula. Now in the oil-free formula I am a "Deep" tint but the match is quite good. The shade has a little more yellow in it than I expected but I think I just need to get used to it.The finish is quite nice and has kept the shine away so far. It feels a little heavier than the regular formula I have used in the past but the BB artist used a brush today to apply the product. I think that's why it feels heavier to me. I typically use my fingers and apply less product. I'm still a fan!

Mixing two shades for summer

I have always switched from Extra Light to Light in the summer months. Now I have to mix the two colors to achieve the right shade for me. I agree with some of the other reviewers. The color formula is not the same. The Light Tint is too dark, with an orangey cast. Extra Light still works with my skin tone, but only in the winter. I like this product otherwise. Very lightweight.

I decided to try the oil free tinted moisturizer because lately every foundation looks good in the morning but by the end of the day, is looking tired and flaky. Even with good moisturizer. I've now been using this TM for over a week and think it's a winner. It provides good coverage. Not enough to cover everything but more than the really sheer tinted moisturizers. It also has good staying power, holding up in 90 degree summer heat and humidity, as well as 40 minutes on the treadmill. I do top it off with the mineral powder compact (lightly dusting with a big brush) and that seems to round out the coverage. My skin is combo and it seems to keep the oil away while not drying me out. Not sure how it would work if I were overly oily or dry, but for my 40+ skin, it's just right.

At 63, I have tried them all, and I can tell you that the oil free takes care of t-zone oil while allowing other areas to get moisture! I wear warm sand foundations and the light shade for this product is a perfect match for me. I may never go back to foundation, because the coverage is medium and that is just right for me! i have really oily skin and this works perfect as a tinted moisturizer , the coverage is very build-able ! i find it's best used with fingers , it does have a certain scent to it but it doesn't linger long after application. i was really happily surprised by this since it looks very natural but can also be close to medium coverage on the skin if wanted.
