I have found that the tinted moisturizer works better for me than foundation. I am 48 years old and regular foundation tends to a make my wrinkles stand out and i feel like a am wearing a mask. The tinted moisurizer makes my face have a more natural look and i do not have to worry about make up lines at my chin line. It looks natural, it feels light, it does not look or feel caked and the bonus is the SPF 25!!!! I would highly recommend this product.

Before I was using a regular make up base, but I really did not need that much coverage, so I begin to use the tinted moisturing balm. It is perfect. It does have coverage yet it has incredible moisturing effects. Would not do without the regular or tinted versions! I am adddicted!

I love this product. I use it almost everyday in the summer. It is light, but covers my flaws. The best part about this product is that it protects my face from the sun with a SPF 25! As I have aged my face is not as moist or smooth as I would like, but this product has improved the look of my skin tremendously. I know you are not supposed to touch your face, but sometimes I can not help it because it feels smooth and healthy when I wear the tinted moisterizing balm. I was afraid that the color of the balm would not match up to my foundation color that I use, but it totally does. You also do not have to use much of the product to get the coverage you want so it will last a long time and well worth the money.I would definitely recommend the tinted moisturizing balm with SPF 25 to anyone. Why put on sunscreen and then makeup (too much product on my face and takes too long to apply)when you can get the same effect with just one product! Fabulous.

This product gives me exactly what I am looking for in  a tinted moisturizer! I like a natural glowing look, a light feel, a tint that lasts and a subtle scent, with the smooth as silk feel on my face. I can go as light as I want, without loosing the color! Truthfully, at my age, the compliments aren't as easy to come by and when someone compliments me on my facial skin, I take that serious!  I was oily combination skin in my 20-30's and now in my 50's realize the importance of the correct balance of oils for the face and neck. The oils in the moisturizer gives my face glowing softness and yet I can breathe through it! Knowing this has a 25 SPF  insures protection whether I am  in my yard or heading out for groceries! I would reccomend this product to any age.

I work at a summer camp and am often running around outside with kids. This is an amazing option instead of regular foundation. It lasts all day and I can tell that I still have some coverage.When I first saw the size of the container, I thought that it wouldn't last me very long, but there is a lot in there! I have been using it for weeks and I can barely tell that there is anything missing.I never feel like it is melting off my face in the sun nor does it come off on my towel if I wipe my face.I have combination skin, so this is great for moisturizing the dryness without over-saturating the oily parts. It provides great light coverage, so I don't feel like I am going to camp with a face full of makeup. It blends incredibly easily so I don't ever get that line under my chin.

I love the Extra SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm. It gives me just enough coverage but looks very natural, like you don't even have any makeup on. It is easy to apply and I don't have to put on moisturizer first, so I can skip that step. I just visited Florida and was out in the very hot sun for most of the day. The SPF gave me great protection and I didn't get any sunburn on my face. I even have my 16 year old daughter using this product too, so it works for a wide range of ages and skin types. It makes you face feel very dewy and soft, looks very natural and finally give great SPF 25 coverage. What more could you want!

My skin is extremely dry- so dry that a mere drop of water on it, upon evaporating, leaves my skin feeling parched and tight as a drum. So, I'm forever hunting products which truly deliver moisture , yet don't feel like the inside of a Crisco can! This tinted balm combines 3 ideal qualities into one product: it feels moisturizing on, it provides a bit of coverage (enough for the summer) and has SPF . Ultimately,the balm makes my skin appear younger and more youthful by providing a bit of a dewiness. The best tinted product I've found so far. My only quibble is with the design of the jar- it's hard to get out the last drops- also since apply my makeup at the gym 5 days a week I'd love for it to come in a plastic tube.

This product has it all. The first thing you will notice is the wonderful fresh, clean aroma. After applying the smallest dolop on your cheeks, chin and forehead your skin will feel moist without feeling the least bit greasy. It is very sheer at the same time providing coverage. I picked this up initially b/c my skin would get so dry while skiing during the winter, but I have since found myself using this year round. For my dry skin, the hydration is fantastic and leaves my skin with a dewey finish. The coverage is also just enough to offset my redness and uneven complexion. This is my daily go to.

No more foundations for me; I've been using this amazing balm for almost five years. I don't think women should wear foundation as they reach their 50's and 60's; it tends to "draw" and collect in any little lines and wrinkles. This goes on smoothly, and it makes my face glow. I love Bobbi Brown products, but unfortunately I did not have great luck with this moisturizing balm. It provides very sheer coverage and has a very strong ginger/carrot scent, but these qualities are not the reason why I did not love this product. I felt that the balm made me skin greasy after I applied it and I had to put on a lot of powder. However, this product was much more agreeable to my skin during the winter months. My suggestion for those with moderately dry skin would be to use this balm when skin is very dry, instead of all year round. Still, this is a very high quality product that may be great for other users.

I had been using the BB tinted moisturizer and the SA suggested that I try the tinted balm since my skin was a bit dry. I cannot say enough about both products. The tinted moisturizer is really great, but the balm gives just that extra bit of moisture. And it has a very dewy finish, which I love! I have sensitive/breakout prone skin and this has not caused any problems at all. Might be a little too much moisture for some during hot/humid months but will be perfect for cold/dry weather!

I am very lucky and have always had good skin and have taken good care of it. As I have gotten older I find that I prefer a sheerer type of coverage. I absolutely could not find what I was looking for and had just about given up. I went to Nordstroms for a makeover when they had the Bobbi Brown makeup artists come in. I told the MUA what I was looking for in a foundation and that "no one has it or cares about it." She asked me to give her a chance and put the tinted moisturizing balm on me. I was instantly hooked. I'm 58 and have sun damaged skin. Using this tinted moisturizer has smoothed out the perfections and made my complexion look clearer. Also I like the fact its 25 sun protection which furthur prevents brown spots. Just a little dab of concealer and I'm good to go. It goes on like a moisturizerbut covers like a light foundation. You don't feel like your wearing anything.

I received this in an 'Extra to Go' kit a few years back when my usually normal-to-oily skin was drier. This is a nice tinted SPF moisturizer that I imagine dry skins will like but I prefer Bobbi's regular Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 - even when my skin was dry. This just didn't feel like it meshed with my skin tone as well. I also don't prefer the jar packaging even though it is lovely to look at.I do love Bobbi's original Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 though. It's my favorite Tinted Moisturizer & I've used it since it came out.

This is a great product as it not only goes on smoothly and covers without looking fake, it has a reasonably high SPF. I would recommend getting the lighter choice if you feel you're between 2 colors. (In the store, the "light" looked good; "extra-light" seemed a little too light. However it seemed to darken slightly on my skin over a brief period of time, making the extra-light the best color choice.)

I use this fabulous product every day. Here in the New Mexico sun, the hydration and the SPF 25 is very welcome. It gives a dewy natural finish and evens out skin tone. I'm 72, and most foundations felt heavy or looked cakey on me. I tried the balm and have never gone back. I do wish it were scentless; but that's just a personal preference. This product works, and that's what counts.

To my surprise, it is enough coverage on most days and on others I use the stick make-up on my chin and nose area. Powder sets it. It has simplified my routine. Beyond that, it works! I received this in an 'Extra to Go' kit a few years back when my usually normal-to-oily skin was drier. This is a nice tinted SPF moisturizer that I imagine dry skins will enjoy but I prefer the lighter weight and texture of Bobbi's regular Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 lotion (which is one of my all time favorite beauty products).This was very emollient even when my skin was drier - too much so in fact. This sat on top of my skin rather than absorbing fully which made the color a bit streaky and left a noticeable greasy feel. The SPF in this is avobenzone based (chemical block) while the lotion version is titanium dioxide based (physical block) which I prefer due to irritation issues with avobenzone. So I would recommend to those with very dry skin who are not sensitive to avobenzone or fragrance.I also don't like dipping my fingers into jar packaging even though it is great quality and beautiful.

I hope to never be without this product. It totally wakes up my skin and gives it a dewy glow that lasts throughout the day. The amount of pigment is perfect for evening out my complexion but not pigmented enough to replace foundation. The scent is pleasant but fades quickly. Having combination skin, I was a bit reluctant to try this, as I thought it might be too creamy or heavy for my skin type, and I worried it would not provide enough coverage to even out the redness in my skin. I was wrong! I love this tinted balm!! I get compliments when I wear it, people tell me my skin looks great -- key word being "skin", NOT "makeup". I love the fresh clean scent as it's heavenly, yet not overpowering. I just apply this beautiful balm with my BB foundation brush, finish with a dusting of loose powder , groom my brows, add nude lip gloss and go. Other foundations seem to look cakey or fakey....this balm is me, but sooooo much better!! The SPF 25 is so appreciated...another terrific product from Bobbi!!

You know, I've used this tinted balm since it came out about seven or so years ago. I always get compliments on how fresh my skin looks (my sister actually thought it was my skin and couldn't believe it was makeup).I've given this to friends and they all love it too. My problem is that, being a fickle woman, I stray to other brands, but I always end up right back to Bobbi's balm, wondering why I tried anything else. I love the smell of it - it smells just like her non-tinted Extra Moisturizing Balm. It goes on easily and gives a glow to my 52 year old skin - it really brings it to life. I gotta quit spending my hard earned $$ on any other product, cause this really is it. I'd have say that of all her products, if someone said I could only have three items of hers, I'd pick this balm, her concealer and her Red lipstick, and be good to go!

This is an amazing product with moist sheer coverage. My skin was unbelievably dry while having chemo and I saw this on TV. I had tried just about every major brand with no luck. This made my skin look dewy and evened it out because I also have Rosacea. My husband said your skin looks so different and glowing. My teenage daughter and I have the same skin tone and she tried it with the same great results and positive comments from her boyfriend and she has combination skin. She rarely ever has breakouts anymore because this doesn't clog her pores. This product is like giving you a second chance with newborn skin and and to proctect what you have with 25 SPF.

I never write reviews but I had to take the time and write one for this product. I love a well made up face which I always thought in the past meant full coverage foundation. I was wrong. This gives a very nice look to your skin - it's not a heavy look at all nor does it make your skin look bare and colorless. I press powder on top of it with a powder puff and it looks good all day. I am really glad I tried this.Actually every thing I try is wonderful. I am switching over to all Bobbi Brown skincare and makeup and am actually going to stick to this one brand. It all works well together.

I have used several tinted moisturizers which were described as being for dry-extra-day skin. None has fulfilled that description until I began using Bobbi's EXTRA SPF 25 Tinted Moisturinzing Balm. For my age, 74, my skin is in remarkably good condition - barely noticeable lines and no blemishes, and this product only enhances my clear complexion. Having extra-dry skin, I have been told to never use a powder. Has anyone else been told the same?? If you have and have found a powder, what are your suggestions?

The first time I used this, I put it on like I would a moisturizer. I had way too much on! The next time, I used a sponge, and applied it like I would foundation. I loved it! It left my skin luminous and hydrated, but not at all oily. I used a whipped blush with it, and the look was glowing! My complexion has never looked this great. I'm sold.

I love this product for several reasons: 1. The texture is soft and glides over my skin beautifully. 2. This provides (on me) more coverage than a typical tinted moisturizer, which is great! Other brands' tinted moisturizers are usually too sheer and don't provide any real coverage at all. This one feels light and looks so natural. 3. The Bobbi Brown consultant advised me via "chat" about the color to use, based on my Bobbi Brown foundation color. She recommended the exact right color! 4. This stuff is awesome! It goes on surprisingly light for a balm but does not lack moisture at all. It just evens out the skin tone without it looking like I am wearing foundation. I AM HOOKED! One thing I would do if you want to wear powder over it is apply it and your concealer after washing your face (it is moistuizer after all) and then let it set for around 10 minutes. Being a moistuizer it needs a few to absorb before powder is added. I love this stuff though!

I bought this to use after having a peel-- normally I fell my skin is too oily and would avoid products with any hint of "moisture" or "dewy" in the description for fear of breakouts. I have been using it for about a month now and am delighted with the results. It is not heavy, it looks natural, it does not make me look greasy, and I think my skin looks a lot better than it did when I was trying to dry it up all the time. You also feel "clean" when you have it on-- not like you have a lot of product on your face-- and it doesn't come off on anything. This just blew away all my preconceived ideas of what a moisturizing tint could be. Plus the SPF is protecting my skin so I won't need another peel for my sunspots!

I love the natural glow this product delivers. This isn't a shimmery glow, it is an natural glow produced by the sheer, emollient formula.It feels wonderful when you smooth it on - luxurious and creamy. I use either my fingers or a foundation brush.I don't have perfect skin - ruddy, acne scars - yet my skin looks great with this. It does need some touching up mid-day, and if you have oily skin this is not for you. If you have maturing skin that needs to look brighter and softer, give this a try.

I love this product. For years I had been searching for the "just right" foundation. This has fit the bill. It is so moisturizing and goes on so nicely. In my early 20s I went through an awful skin stage. My skin was SENSITIVE, blotchy, parched/dry, and flaky.This foundation balm saved my skin. I knew not to put product on my face, but I was embarassed with my flaky red skin. This balm corrected the dryness and irritation, while covering. It sounds quite expensive, but really, a LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. On and off I've used the same jar for over a year now.This balm isn't meant for super coverage. It is light, and honestly I wear this on days that I don;t need much makeup. a couple of swipes of a sponge, a dusting of powder and bronzer and I am out the door.On days I need more coverage I use the Skin line.

Bought this to help my skin combat the cold,dry winter weather. It worked like a charm! Between indoor heat, low humidity, & whipping wind, hard for me to find a foundation that covers & adds moisture. This product does both!! And I had no dry patches or flaking anywhere this winter!! Feels so soothing when you apply, like a medicated cream. Blends super easily! You might want to go a shade or two darker if you want more coverage--I am fair, but with yellow undertones and some ruddiness to cover, I use Light to Medium. Love the lavender/eucalyptus fragrance. Makes my skin look so healthy and fresh, I am still wearing it this spring. The woman who waxes my eyebrows always asks me, what do you use, you have such nice skin--this is IT! The SPF 25 is an added bonus!!

When I first wore this, a friend told me how pretty I looked, a compliment I haven't heard in a long time. I especially love the dewy look it gives me. Another friend, much, much younger than I, has skin that glows naturally. My skin didn't do this even when I was young, and I have envied hers for a long time. Now I glow too! It took several tries to find the right shade for my pale, reddish skin. In Bobbi's other foundations I've gone from Alabaster (too ghostly) finally to Sand (perfect). In this one I've tried Alabaster (too chalky), Extra Light Tint (still too pale), and Light Tint (just right). Love the smell too. It doesn't linger, but it reminds me of growing up in small town Iowa, spending my days at the swimming pool.

Nice texture and quality in a product I really wanted, but the Bobbi Brown emphasis on yellow-based tones is not friendly to blondes. I tried several shades (with help of a cosmetician at counter) and had choice of looking either orangey-jaundiced or ghostly dead. There is no appropriate shade for a neutral blonde complexion, same problem with the foundations I have encountered, but I hoped this would be better. It's not. Lovely quality product if you can use such yellow-based tones.

The scent is nice. The 'feel' is nice. Very moisturizing. However, it was so sheer that there was no color 'pay off' I could notice. No covereage at all. So, it is what it says....'sheer'. I was hoping for something with a little bit of, light, coverage to it. With this tinted moisturizer, I would have to apply real foundation on top.....which make no sense.

I have always used regular foundations, the last one being Bobbi Brown's Luminous Moisterizing Foundation, but when I tried this tinted moisterzer for the first time, I could not believe how it gave me this "inner glow" that has always eluded me with other foundations.I have had 3 compliments today from coworkers who noticed and asked what make-up I was using, because it made me look so healthy and glowing.I am 50 years old and have always heard, that as you get older, you should use less foundation or switch to a tinted moisterizer.The medium shade that the Boobi Brown customer service girl recommended on the live chat after I told which Bobbi Brown foundation color I was using until now, worked perfect for me.I am completely sold on this tinted moisterizer and will never ever go back to standard foundation. I finally got my "healthy glow" that I tried to previously get by putting "highlighting" products over my foundation.All I do now is put on the tinted moisterizer, and some blush, and my eye make up and I am good to go.I truly love love love this stuff!!!!It does even out my complexion without looking like a mask, as other foundations can.This is the way to go for the maturing skin, not to mention the fact you get SPF25 and moisterizing benefits at the same time...Again, LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

The word 'dewey' in the description seems to be a cleverly chosen marketing word for greasy. Also, the tint is non-existent. I have fair skin and bought the medium color. When it arrived, I thought it looked too dark, but when I put it on, it was like regular mositurizer. I was so disappointed in this product and am returing it immediately.

I am a redhead with fair skin (and freckles) and this is the only foundation that I have ever used which doesn't cake on. It is sheer enough that I don't look too "made-up" but tinted enough that all of my tones are evened out. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a natural but even tone. I have tried to live without this product and failed! It protects your skin in the summer and gives it a soft and dewy appearance. You do need to use concealer to hide any dark spots, blemishes, or circles, but no other foundation will feel as good as this one!

I've been using the Extra balm moisturizer and decided to give the tinted version a try. I love this product as it give me a little foundation type coverage but none of the yucky feel of a typical foundation. I use it over a light application of the Extra balm moisturizer. I'm not one prone to exaggeration nor do I write reviews very often, but in this case I must share how incredible I have found this product to be. So you know where I'm coming from: I'm 35 years old, very fair, blue-eyed. I have recently struggled with adult acne (but thankfully have just about won that battle *fingers crossed*) and I have combination skin. I don't need heavy coverage at this point I would simply like something that "enhances" my own skin. I have bounced around with various foundations my whole life - mineral powders, regular cream products, etc. All I want is a product that provides decent coverage without making me look like I'm actually wearing something. I hate looking dry or cakey, but I don't want to look greasy either. Well, OH MY GOODNESS! This product is MIRACULOUS! I waited for a week before I wrote this to be sure I didn't break out or I wasn't having some kind of honeymoon phase with it. I'm not! It is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I've never tried any kind of tinted moisturizer before so I can't compare, but it goes on like silk. It blends, moisturizes, makes my complexion look smooth and dewy. I can build it in the areas that need a tad more coverage, it lasts all day and I don't feel like I am wearing a thing on my face. I have never, in my entire life, felt this beautiful wearing make-up. And THAT is a statement I think every woman longs to make!!! I see no reason that I won't be wearing this for the rest of my life. I only weep a little inside for the fact that I didn't know about it 20 years ago. *sob* Thank you, Bobbi Brown, for truly making me feel like a beautiful woman for the FIRST TIME in my life when I'm wearing 'foundation'. I can look in the mirror and see ME and not the make-up on my skin. What freedom!

I have been wanting to try the tinted moisturizing balm for some time, and finally did purchase about two weeks ago. Since that time I have been using it every day and it is the best product ever! I absolutely love it and will not be without it from now on.I am 54 years old with dry sensitive skin, that is sometimes prone to breakouts. The tinted moisturizing balm makes my skin look absolutely amazing. It gives you light coverage, but it does not look or feel like you are wearing makeup. I was afraid that it would be too greasy, but it absolutely is not! It gives your skin a soft healthy glow. Apply it in the morning and you are good to go all day. I love the fact that with one product I am moisturizing, getting adequate makeup coverage, and an SPF of 25.This product will be wonderful for those cold windy months ahead. I am so glad to have found this product, as I will be using it from now on. Sure wish I had tried it sooner!

Plus which, after trial and error I found the color that I feel is right for me...for all seasons. My first jar came damaged, but BB customer service rocks and they immediately sent me a new one (I don't live near a store anymore) This stuff is GREAT - no need for moisturizer, and a little goes a long way. Plus it smells amazing. I have combination skin, and this is perfect for my extra dry patches. I think I might not use it in the summer except if I get dry patches. Its absolutely perfect for fall and winter, it is soo soothing on my skin. I can also use this with the corrector and concealer and set with a bit of powder for a matte look or leave as is for a more dewy finish. If you like a lighter makeup feel, there is no need for foundation as well. If you have spots, just use the concealer and its great.

To combat my over 40 dry, sensitive skin, I used to put sunscreen, an additional moisturizer and primer on my face before foundation, only to look in the mirror and see that my face still didn't look right. Maybe it's the primer? Try another. Maybe it's the moisturizer? Try another. Maybe it's the foundation? Try another. Then, I saw a video where Bobbi used the EXTRA TM Balm on a model, and decided to try it. WOW. Instead of dry, chalky and cakey looking, my face looks natural, even-toned, glowing. I am a 3.0 in Bobbi's foundations and the Light-Medium color is perfect. Not only that, I no longer need additional SPF and primer products. This takes care of everything. It won't completely cover redness or hyperpigmentation, but if you let the balm sink in, it will provide the perfect canvas for spot-coverage. I especially like this Balm paired with the foundation stick. I apply the Balm with a foundation brush on clean, bare skin and let it sink in for about 10 minutes. Then, I apply the foundation stick on my nose and chin, and FINALLY, my face looks like ME. To keep the dewey glow, I use powder only in the tzone. Perfect look stays all day. I will never be without Bobbi's EXTRA TM Balm.

I was afraid of this product (and its untinted version). I first tried each about 10 or so years ago when I was not as dry as now. Well -- either the product changed OR I got old. Okay -- maybe both!The smell is great; the slip is wonderful without being too greasy, the coverage is a very nice sheer (and not too sheer either). I have used the regular tinted moisturizer forever (since it came out) -- but I think this Extra Tinted Balm -- hands down blows any other tinted moisturizer out of the water.I am 50, fair with freckles, some ruddiness and wrinkles with gray/blue eyes and dry skin. I used the Extra Light Tint and it is amazing. On some days I used Sand Foundation stick with it for great, long lasting coverage.

I found this one when I went to the BB counter and I was amazed the first time I applied it! It moisturizes my skin and makes it feel soft and smooth. I just bought this tinted moisturizer last week and I absolutley love it! I have tried all the top brands for TM's and none can campare to this one. It lasts all day and keeps my skin dewy and moisturized! It is a light to medium coverage and buildable. I have very dry skin and this works perfect. I would only reccomend this for people with dry skin.I noticed that my skin tends to get a bit oily later in the day with this but I dont mind, I just use a little powder and it looks great! :)

I ordered the SPF25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm, thinking that it would even out my skin tone as I put on my moisturizer. However, this product seemed stiffer and heavier than the uncolored SPF25 Moisturizing Balm, which I use regularly. It didn't feel as light or creamy when I was spreading it on my face. Also, the color I chose (warm ivory) was too dark, so I'll have to save it for summer when my face isn't as pale.

The level of coverage is perfect and a little goes a long way. It's even buildable to a degree. Goes on very smoothly and evenly -- especially with a foundation brush.But I'm just too oily-faced to be able to wear this tinted moisturizer regularly. All I ever want is sheer coverage and this would be the perfect solution. Almost 98% of my makeup is Bobbi now but there doesn't seem to be Bobbi Brown foundation option that works for me. I wish there were a mineral powder base available here; I've found this to be the very best foundation type for my skin.I loved the coverage so much that I even tried to wear it anyway and just blot and powder to keep the shine-factor down. I got too powdery and undid the whole sheer thing. :(Please make a tinted moisturizer for your oily devotees Bobbi!... I'd buy it for life!

This moisturizes and covers more than most tinted moisturizers, but has SPF and makes my face "Glow" first thing in the morning. It's a bit too "glistening" at first (I don't care for powder on top) , but it is absorbed by the time I get to work. Depending on the indoor environment on a given day I may not have to slather any more moisturizer during the day! Other moisturizers don't have the staying power that this moisturizing balm has.

I got this product some time ago and have waited to review it as I used it. I find that it is terrific as a moisturizer and UNDER a foundation, but not so hot as a tint. When I apply it, the color vanishes. My skin looks "dewy" but I definitely need more, powder and color at the least, and maybe my complete foundation routine. My skin feels great and hydrated, though. Oh, yeah; the scent is not good, but does fade fast, thank goodness.

My skin appears to glow and fine lines are diffused using this tinted moisturizer! I also love that it saves steps on those hectic mornings as additional moisturizers aren't necessary.I can be "ready to go" in minutes and, while it's light enough for summer, I think it's really going to be wonderful this winter, when dry skin is a battle.I usually wear this alone, but find I can adjust coverage levels easily by adding Skin or another of Bobbi's foundations when/where needed.

This is the best tinted/SPF moisturizer I've ever tried and I've tried them all...I was very skeptical about paying $50.00 but would do it again without a second thought (and I'm cheap!).First I have to say that this product is "EXTRA" moisturizing therefore DO NOT buy this if you don't have "EXTRA" dry skin. I have extremely dry skin (specially in the winter) almost to the point of eczema and this has done wonders!! My skin looks supple, the coverage is just enough and it looks dewey versus greasy all day! You Do NOT (and should not) have to use very much which guarantees that it will last long and the added bonus of it being 25 SPF has made this product my best find and buy of 2011!!!NOTE: Since I have dry patches versus completely dry skin, I DO have to use a translucent powder on top. Most people in my opinion will too.

This tinted balm is so competitive with the original foundation balm, the coverage is kinda sheer but still able to cover most of my minor blemishes and even the skin tone well, feel fresh and comfortable. Just a reminder. If you are a Warm Ivory in the foundation balm, be sure you get the Alabaster in this tinted one, the color of Extra Light Tint is one level darker and more pinky than the Alabaster.

So glad I took the plunge and purchased this tinted moisturizing balm! I had grown so tired of spending $$$ on foundations that made me look like I was ready for "the viewing," lol. Most foundations I've tried were either too thick or very drying. I don't want heavy coverage but I need a little help with balancing out my complexion. For an extra challenge, I have a mild case of rosacea to work with! The tinted balm (shade= "light") is wonderful - it gives my skin a healthy, smooth glow and it's "just enough" color. Perfect! Love that it's a 3-in-1 product - time saver!Tip: Talk to an online artist if you are not sure which shade is right for you. The artist I chatted with advised me to go with the "light" and she was absolutely right!

I have very dry skin so I need something that provides long lasting moisture. This does; the best part is that it doesn't give heavy coverage. It is light and just floats onto your skin. Being my age it just looked like just the thing needed, This stuff is great!! I am in the process of ordering some for the winter because of its moisturizing properties. I've been using this foundation/moisturizer combination for a few years. I prefer a lighter coverage that doesn't 'appear' to look heavy on my face & I have to manage my rosacea condition - this product does just that. It smells lovely - goes on very easily - you can build coverage, but it will not look heavy. It's also just nice as a base if you do want to apply a heavier foundation. Great moisture for these dry winter months. And (the best part) it seems to keep my rosacea less inflamed!

This Tinted Moisturizing Balm is truly fantastic. I have drier skin and this gives me the light dewy coverage that I love with the extra protection of SPF 25. I love the pleasant scent of this as so many other SPF products smell raunchy. The container is large and pretty and will definitely last a long time as only a small amount is needed. I like to apply it with the Foundation Brush but it goes on just as smoothly with my finger tips. My skin feels great with this on and hydrated all day.

Youthful dewy potion in a jar

Have been using this for a couple of years now as my winter skin/makeup routine. I have normal to dry maturing skin as I am 52. I also have occasional oiliness around my nose but also experience dullness on my cheeks with some fine lines and enlarged pores. I believe in the less is more approach as I age and find this product to be perfect for evening skin tone while adding a youthful dewy finish. It doesn't accentuates pores nor add texture to my fine wrinkles. I use my BB serum first then BB face base then this product. I add touches of concealor where needed, then pot rouge on cheeks. I use a tiny amount of translucent powder on my nose area after allowing the cream to absorb and voila! Perfect, glowing, youthful skin. I always receive compliments on my "beautiful skin" when I use this...thanks to Bobbi!

Always had super sensitive, red skin and it was getting worse (and dryer). Products would work for awhile, and then I'd have to toss them or try to return them. Out of desperation I switched to high end products because I was able to return them -- and ususally did. The BALM caught my eye. I am now on my fourth jar, and no returns. I feel I look younger and lines are less noticeable. If you really need to read further, please do!! I have tried many other products using fingers, sponge, makeup brush, etc.; those products seemed to only make lines look worse. I live in the tropics, so finding something that is not too heavy for this climate has been very difficult. This product is moisturizing, offers light coverage, does not feel greasy and does not "lay" in lines. I look like I am wearing very little makeup, but overall look better than bare. I am moisturized, protected from the sun, and can put this on in seconds. I even wear it swimming in the a.m. (outdoors) just because I feel better wearing it. If I am going out, etc., I like to put it on, wait a few minutes, then add blush, lipstick and a little eye makeup for a finished look. A very natural look, but pulled together.

I love all of Bobbi Brown's products...have not tried one that I didn't like. I'm 76 with lines and wrinklesand do not like powder or heavy liquid makeup...they emphasize the lines and wrinkles.I love this balm...it's light and dewy and that works for me.

pros:

I have been wanting to try this product for quite awhile so I gathered the courage to order it online. Matching my skintone was fairly easy because I already have the Creamy Concealer and there is a chart on the BB website that helps you do a match-up. It is very smooth and provides good coverage. It has a slight sunscreen smell which I don't care for. Probably for me, the biggest disappointment was that the day after it arrived, I received an email from Bobbi Brown, announcing the launch of her new BB Cream! Had I known it would be launching in Canada, I would have ordered it instead. That being said, I do like the Tinted Moisturizing Balm, I just wish it smelled better, more like the Vitamin Enriched Face Base. I like having the SPF also as I am very freckly and fair.

I'm so glad I discovered this creamy tinted coverage. It's lovely and perfect as a tinted moisturizer with SFP 25. At first, I tried the Medium shade for my 'slightly olive tone with yellow base,' but Med was way too dark, so I quickly exchanged that for the Light to Med shade-perfect. You will love the wonderful texture and the way it looks so luminous on the skin. I apply Bobbi's cream blush over cheek bones to complete a fresh, dewey look.

Too greasy!!!

pros:

I have dry skin and even for me is too greasy. I don't like it, my face looks like I put a whole jar of vaseline on my face. I tried applying less product and I still don't like it. I will be returning this product.

A Glowing Dewy Foundation!

I have finally found the ideal way to achieve a dewy finish to my skin. I am in my 50's and far too old for a matte finish. But accomplishing dewy without too many products or ending up oily just wasn't something I was getting right. In my frustration, I called the BB MUA chat line and talked with Kim. She was fabulous ( I have had nothing but the most amazing help from them-far better and more accurate than department store SA's.) She suggested I try Extra Tinted Moisturizing Balm and then use the BB Foundation Stick in only the places where I need it (around the nose and cheeks where I am red). This is a brilliant combination! I have a beautiful dewy finish combined with exactly the coverage I need. I had to pass this amazing advice on to anyone looking for a dewy complexion who also needs coverage. I am finally finished with my search for the perfect foundation!!!

Dewey and light coverage

pros:

I discovered that I only need a serum, and thisBalm to feel moisturized . This only covers lightly. You will need to use a light concealer and a little mineral powder to even out your tone. The effect is a Dewey look that will not crease. Be sure and dab the powder on. Do not drag the brush as that will only undo the concealer.This is my go to for the summer. You will love itIf you are dry with signs of aging....really the perfect answer for aging skin.

Very moist, good color

I found this moisturizer to be very moist, easy to apply and has a nice hint of color. Could be a little more moist for me, but my skin is extra, extra dry.
