Lovely handy little kit

As always, Bobbi's shadows are versatile; in this case they are brow colors, and this Dark Brow Kit fills a need! The little tweezer is handy, the colors are perfect and long lasting and make for a defined natural brow. My only concern is I did not like the little brush at all. I know it is only a travel type brush and I have a great brow brush at home, but the brush applicator is cheap and scratchy on the skin. If not for that this would have 5 stars. Still very pleased though!

Great product, but why so big?

Love the colors in the new brow kit, and have always loved the brush...but why is the case so much bigger than the original? I had a nice little spot in my make-up kit that the old one slid into, but this packaging is much bigger and it doesn't seem necessary.

Great for black brows going gray or white

My black, wiry eyebrows are in the process of turning white hair by hair and they're hard to shape and control as well. I have spots "missing" on top my brows, too.This kit is perfect. I use the lighter of the two shades to create a midtone between my dark and light brow hairs, and I use the tiny brush that came with the kit. It's short and therefore not perfect, but the brush is just the right strength and shape. (I fill in my brows slightly first with the brunette pencil.)I finish with brow gel and am good to go with a beautiful brow.A plus for me is that I have a hard time lining my eyes because of eyesight and aging skin, so I use the darker brow color as a soft liner. I apply it with a smudge brush above my eyes for a soft, forgiving line, and I use a thinner brush to edge my lower lashes slightly (I have a long face and need the definition.)Only thing I would suggest is a magnifying mirror in the compact rather than a regular mirror, hence the 4-star rating.

A MUA kit essential

As soon as I saw these at my local counter I knew I had to own these. (both shades Light & Dark) This is such a fantastic idea!! I can not tell you how many brows I've had to do or have done and have barely made a dent in the product. As a freelance MUA this is a must have. The results look great each and every time and don't look harsh or drawn on. With this great tool the brows are filled in and frame the face very well. The color doesn't flake off or smudge. The mini brush is a bonus but to be honest I wouldn't be devastated if I were to loose it. But it is nice to have none the less. Awesome kit for the money and I can't not have it.

pros:
I saw this at my local counter and had to have it. I have very dark hair/brows. I bought the dark one. To be honest, I have to be careful with the darkest color (using too much will look fake). I absolutly love the product though. I also fill in my brows and this by far is the best I have used.

I thought I would try this product as I have used a a similar product by a well known brand for years and have always liked BB's other products.. Worst assumption ever made. Neither color worked for me. Both were too powdery in texture and the brush provided only made matters worse. Could not gei a smooth, clean looking brow. Looked and felt like I was using charcoal stick.

I had an artist use this on my brows and I was amazed by the flawless but yet natural look it gave me. Gave my face an overall finished look. The artist lightly sprayed the brush with water before dipping into the powder which gave it staying power. It lasted on me for the rest of the day....eight hours to be exact for a total of 12 hours. This is definitely going on my Christmas wish list to hubby.

After receiving my brow kit, I was very disappointed with the tweezer that came with it. Mind you, I already have the $32 Bobbi Brown tweezer which is phenomenal. The tiny tweezer that comes with this isn't made with that precision at all so it does not get the hair and it is so tiny that it's hard to hold and maneuver (and I have small hands). Second, I was never a fan of the eyebrow brush with the hard rough bristles so even if I was traveling, I wouldn't use or carry this. This tiny brush was hard to hold as well and if you are trying to draw that perfect arch like me, then this isn't the right brush for you. It's great for filling the brows in with color but the brush is way too harsh for me and doesn't do the job.So, I would recommend getting Saddle & Mahogany separately as an eye shadow and using that instead of paying $47 for a kit.
