I use Blonde for my medium blond brows and I really like how easily it applies with the mascara-like wand applicator. This product has recently been repackaged and the new brush is a bit smaller and tapered, which gives even more control when applying it. The shade Blonde is a cooler, slightly greyish shade, and it is a perfect color match for me. I also like how the product gently holds brows in place for a natural, polished look without leaving them stiff. Overall a very nice product that has become my personal brow staple.

Just perfect! I have almost non-existent brows and the fine brow hair I do have becomes noticeable and fuller with this product. I purchased the Mahogany and it is very natural but gives a well defined look. It does not budge or flake either. I wish I'd had this years ago- it is that good!

Not a fan of the new formula; I preferred the old formula that had a consistency closer to a traditional mascara that colored my brows and left them natural and not stiff. The new cream-gel formula has consistency closer to glue, and brows have a stiff feel when the gel dries (much like hair gel). The one good feature is the variety of shades available.

Brow Shaper in Rich Brown Not the Same!

I stil have 1 new tube of the old Rich Brown brow shaper and was delighted that it was available again. I ordered 2 and the color is similar to the Mahagony. I need a true, natural dark brown eyebrow shaper. I lost my hair twice to breast cancer and my eyebrows are about 60% grey. I need an eyebrow mascara to cover the grey ; pencils and powders are too difficult to use. I don't like the new wand either - it's too short & stubby.

I like this product for my eye brows. I haven't tried it on my hair yet. I know some have liked the smaller brush size but I Don't! I like the older one for two reasons easier to put on my hair with the longer brush and easier to tell what it is in my makeup bag.

While I agree with other reviewers who complain that the quantity of the product has lessened, the quality is the same. I like the new brush shape and find it easier to control how much product goes where. I always buy the clear formula - and that alone usually gives my brows a slightly darker (and more refined) appearance. If I need more emphasis, I add an appropriate color powder with the brow brush that I've owned for years.

I used to use eye shadow to apply color to my brows but switched to Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up for two reasons: 1) I wanted a product that not only added color to my brows but also kept them in place, and 2) I started coloring my hair and brows copper-red and thought Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up in Auburn might be a good match for my new red brows. This product fits the bill on both accounts. Before using Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up, I was having a problem with my brows being too bright red after having them colored. After a week, they'd be a great shade, but after another couple of weeks, as new (untinted) brow hairs grew in, they'd look ashy. Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up in Auburn has remedied that problem. It has enough brown to tone down my uber-red, freshly-colored brows, and enough red to keep them from appearing ashy when they're due--or overdue, as the case may be--to be recolored. I love that Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up is a multi-tasking product. I can use it to blend my roots into the colored portion of my hair and to cover the grey (platinum!) hairs that are staring to show up uninvited. One word of caution: as with most cream and gel brow products, this one can apply a little to heavily, so take care to apply lightly and evenly.

the revised brown shaper is a bit disappointing. the shorter brush is fine... but the product comes out so wet that one has to try to take off as much as possible at the sides or tap it in a tissue otherwise it cakes on too too thick. the dispenser needs a bit more refinement to remove the right amount of product it seems.

I have used this product for a long time and just love it, until they changed the wand!!Too much product on the new one, can't control it as with the longer, slimmer one.I was still using up the old style, so now I just use that wand in the new bottom to get product out and then put them back in their correct case! Works for me!

pros:

I used the BB brow gel in clear for years. However since they have repackaged it with a new brush, I don't like it anymore. The gel seems to be the same, and I still like that a lot. But the new brush shape doesn't work well and I end up with more gunk on the end of the brush and more gunk in my eyebrows. Please bring back the old brush - with the old brush, this was the perfect brow gel.

I love this formula and would have rated it a 5 star before they changed the wand. I like the fact that it is shorter, but the pointed tip is not helpful. Though it seems counterintuitive, I have more trouble getting the right amount of product in the right place, not less. Hopefully this change will be revisited.

pros:

I have very thin eyebrows in spots. I don't like using a pencil on them because it looks too drawn on and I don't particularly like the eyeshadow-type brow color. So when this Natural Brow Shaper came out, I was so excited to try it. It's wonderful, it fills in my eyebrows without looking drawn on and it lasts. I would recommend it to anyone. I am not a big fan of the short brush, but I can live with it.

Terrible new brush

In the past, I have loved this product, and recommended it to many friends. However, the new brush is poorly designed, as it causes heavy gloppy streaking which is difficult to control. I am forced to use an old applicator in order to achieve a satisfactory result. Bring back the previous, longer brush, or at least change the shape of the brush back to straight rather than tapered. After many years of BB purchases, this current new brush version has led me to begin a reluctant search for a similar product by another manufacturer.

Although the formula still appears to be good, the old brush was so much better. This new brush, with its multiple uses, makes it really difficult to get the stuff on just your eyebrows! I find that with the fat brush vs the old thin brush, I end up getting it all over the place! If I need a hair touch-up, I'll go buy a hair touch-up. I'd love to see the old brush back.

pros:

My tip when using this is to just brush it on eyebrow hairs, not on the skin underneath hairs. This used to come in a longer mascara type container with different wand. Now it's in smaller container (I'd guess price didn't decrease though) and wand is now pointed which makes too much product come out on the point, so it now doesn't apply as easily as prior packaging, and it goops too much on. Good product when you can apply it "just so."

Simply cannot give this product more than a two-star review, as I'm in agreement with several other reviewers on the new style. It is simply not as good as the previous design.The price is the same, yes, but the tube is smaller as is the brush. The product clumps on the brush, then on the brow, which does not flow well onto the brow. Have not tried it on the roots but doubt I would like that either.Sally's Beauty carries a mascara-type root touch up product so will check there for a similar brow product also, or perhaps just use a regular mascara from now on.Prefer not to spend $22 on a product I don't much like.

I was hesitant to buy this because many brow gels can be clumpy or flake. I also have trouble finding a brown dark enough that doesn't turn reddish when applied. I have used eyeshadow for years but, decided to give it a try. Wow! You will not be disappointed. This applies evenly and looks completely natural. The color is also perfect for my dark brows. This is going in my must have products. If you have ever had problems getting products to look natural ...stop looking this is it. BB created a definite winner.

After I used this product for the first time I couldn't believe how great it worked! I have thick brows that I work at keeping neat and shaped. Brow pencils always looked fake on me, once I tried this brush I will never go back to pencils! And the color selections are great, I use the Mahogany and it looks so natural on me. If you are using a pencil and have medium to thick brows give this a try!

This is the most natural looking brow product I've ever used. After years of invisible blondeish brows, this adds depth, definition and color without pencil lines or what I've always referred to as "the eyeshadow effect".
