If I remember right, christmas 2007, this shimmer brick came out, in a pink shimmer box packaging. So if you are shimmer brick fan, you might want to check all your shimmer bricks. This is very similar to the regular pink, but I think it has a little more color. I have all the shimmer bricks and use one almost every day.

I really like this Shimmer Brick. It reminds me of the Rose, but much more subtle. I highly recommend this brick for its versatility. You can use alone, as a blush, all-over highlighter, eye shadow, and my favorite is taking my fingers across the palette and putting a little on my lips. That just seems to bring the whole look together.

I remember when this came out for the holidays in 2007 and glad to see it making a comeback.This is a beautiful subtle golden pink with a touch of bronze that is great for anyone who just can't do corals. This works perfect on the cheeks as well as the eyes so it makes a perfect grab and go item for touch ups.

OK, I am an older gal. This one I have to say has by far the nicest shimmer to it. The color is very subtle. I have the 3 other shimmer-bricks, this one I prefer to all the others. I was going to get the nectar, but it was just too much color for me, since I only use this over blush/cheekbones, and maybe one or two other strategic places. If you want a more color, get the nectar..this one is just fine by me.

I love Bobbi Brown, but unfortunately this did nothing for me. I had been looking forward to try the shimmer bricks, and finally splurged on the Pink Quarts brick. I have very fair skin, but when I applied it you could still barely see it. When I applied enough for it to be seen, it made my skin look dirty. I'm returning it, but it seems to be a godsend for other people. I suggest you try it in the store first.

I can't express in words how much I absolutley love these! They are just amazing, to apply I do as instructed using the Face Bleander brush. I gently with a careful hand ethier use this as a highlight or wear alone on the apples of my cheeks. The shimmer is visable but soft and deffinatley not at all to intense. I love the sophisticated packaging and the quality that can be seen throughout the entire palette. I also ues this under my browbone as a highlight or even as a sheer wash of shadow on the lid.Its like five completely different colors! I have mine in Pink Quartz which I feel is perfect for the summer for two main reasons. The first reason being thatits the perfect bronze and bronzy pink tones toghether all in one. The second reason is that it gives a fresh glow wherever you apply it, which is always good! Overall this is one of my favorite purchases and deffinatley the prettiest, absolutley recommend it!

I got this shimmer brick yesterday and fell in love with it the moment I opened it! I had another BB shimmer brick in bronze, which I also loved but unfortunately my toddler daughter broke it. I decided to give this one a try and I'm glad I did. These colors create a perfect mixture and a very nice glow - not too shiny! And it can be worn with or without blush. It is not too bright and deposits just enough color. Great choice for the summer.

I have loved this one since it came out as a holiday limited edition a few years back. I was thrilled to see it return. This is a pale coppery pink shade. It is the warm side of golden. If the Copper Diamond and original Pink shimmer bricks had a baby, I think this would be it. More pink than the Nude shimmer brick and less bronze than the Beach shimmer brick. More warmth than platinum pink.

Pink Quartz is unbelievably gorgeous. This is one of my very favorite cosmetic inventions of all time. It's just absolutely marvelous stuff and I mean BOBBI BROWN shimmerbricks -- no competition exists here. And the Pink Quartz shimmerbrick lightens and brightens and just makes the skin seem to radiate... it does so invisibly too - casting some kind of pink quartz magic without ever being perceived itself. I mean... I couldn't really tell what it was that looked so nice... only that after this was applied I looked astonishingly bright and rosy (I *never* look bright and rosy!). I'd even watched myself apply it! And I was still amazed by the effect! Let's call it "Shimmer-spell".You have to try these shimmerbricks out to understand the hype. For real. If you haven't yet just DO IT!! You will *not* be disappointed and I absolutely promise you *will* be surprised at the effects in a very good way.Don't use much to start! You may need only a single swipe with the right brush even if your skin tone isn't very light! I needed one or two swishes and I have light to medium skin (around a 3.5 - 4.0 in BB's Skin foundation).

I'm in my late 50s and struggling with the blush thing. My black hair and light olive skin have turned to black hair with silver streaks and just plain flat fair skin, and I'm struggling with dryness. Blusher always has been the one thing I wouldn't leave the house without, because I don't naturally blush under any circumstances. Zero color in my cheeks. I wanted to find blush for the older, wiser me and leave behind the days of being able to wear the plummiest stuff. I want a suggestion of appropriate color that looks natural and blends well. That or something that lets me rock, but in an age-appropriate way.I waded in and bought this after reading reviews from other women who said that it truly did shimmer, or produce a luscious sheen, rather than sprinkling glitter all over their faces.They were so, so right. I bought the recommended brush, made two light sweeps and hit the cheekbones. Beautiful. It's soft, soft color (watch the application and don't go overboard) and like magic on a brush. I don't really have wrinkles, although the texture of my skin has changed for the worse - if I had wrinkles, I'd still use this. Personally, I love laugh lines around the eyes. If I had them, I'd give them a tiny sweep of this (don't know if Bobbi would recommend that though).This really does produce a healthy, inviting glow - sort of an I'm-driving-my-sportscar-with-the-top-down-and-I-just-had-a-fabulous date look.This is the little black dress of blushers - kind of a secret weapon.

I use mostly higher-end makeup and was very disappointed with this product. It is not good for oily skin because it is very shiny and highlights your pores. I imagine this would be a good product for someone with normal to dry skin. I don't think you need to invest in this unless you are pale. This can also be used as eyeshadow (it's beautiful as eyeshadow).

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks are just not makeup, they are pieces of ART!I have two Shimmer Bricks--Bronze & Pink Quartz. I have very fair skin with warm undertones and dark eyes and hair. I love both of these bricks in different ways.Depending on the season, Bronze is slighly too dark on me and can look muddy when used as a cheek highligher. However, I use the shades individually as eyeshadows all year long, and I use the lightest color as a brown bone highlight almost everyday. I love it.Now, Pink Quartz is probaby my favorite of the two. It is just so gorgeous. I use it as a highlight in the winter time when my skin is a bit dry and needs a kick of luster. BUT I have recently figured out the most fun way to wear these shimmer bricks... As a LIP COLOR! I swirl the colors of Pink Quartz onto my fingers, and apply to my lips after a good moisturizing balm. I then put a clear gloss (I use Bobbi's) on top of that, and voilà... a BEAUTIFUL pink/beige/nude color! I love this color on the lips for summer and for a fun party look.I love multi-functional products, and I cannot say enough positive things about the Shimmer Bricks. These pieces are gorgeous additions to any makeup collection.

I buy a brick compact almost every time new colors come out; love them all, but this Pink Quartz is one that I use several times a week. The colors are very warm and flattering. I have fair skin; avoid sun exposure, and these particular colors give my face the warm, flattering touch that I need. My daughter purchased the bronze shimmer brick. I liked it very much, but consider pinks more my colors. I like this product, it provides a very nice light shimmer, very sheer. However, it was very light on my light skin. I think in hindsight, I like the bronze shimmer brick a bit better. Still nice, but very subtle- not a blush really.

I have been using this shimmer brick for over two years-and I've loved it the entire time! The color is perfect over bronzer or just on it's own. I have used it a few times as an eye color and that looks great as well. The one problem I have with this is that every single brick of mine has broken prematurely. Each color is made separately so it usually starts with one coming loose and eventually they will all turn into a powder. It's definitely still useable after this, just be careful because the powder will get over everything if you're not careful.
