Given I am fair I always feel I put on too much etc. I got the Pot Rouge in Fresh Melon and this is the color I've been waiting for all my life. It is perfect for my light complexion. A sheer perfect warm pinky peach that will be my go-to all spring and summer. I couldn't love this more. Thank you for this absolutely gorgeous color. Finally us fair girls can wear a soft shade of coral. It would certainly look beautiful on darker complexions too.

I like the new flip top packaging of the Pot Rouges, although I had no issues with the previous screw on top either. I can see how the mirror in the lid comes in very handy when touching up on the go. However, on my dry skin the lasting power of these wonderful cream blushes is so extraordinary that no touch ups are needed throughout the day. I got the Fresh Melon and Rose shades which are repromotes of the two former Limited Edition colors. Great new range of shades, they really freshen up the complexion while looking natural. And the Über Beige is wonderful for contouring.

I really love the new packaging of the pot rouge, particularly the mirror in the compact. The product is still great with a wide range of wearable shades. I wear Powder Pink which adds the right amount of brightness to my complexion. My skin is dry and this makes it feel smooth. I love how it works with the Extra Repair Foundation.

Disappointed in change of packaging

Though I love all the products I use, pot rouge is one of my favorites. One of the things I like most was the pot with the screw off cap. It lasts as long as the product - which is not the case for the black flip top packaging used for other products. I use black electrical tape to hold together the flip tops that break long before the product is gone. Please reconsider this change in packaging or I guess I can stock up on electrical tape.

Like some other reviewers, I must agree that I liked the old packaging better than the new. In my case, I bought several in different colors and the plastic see-through lid eliminated the need to keep opening them until I found the shade I wanted at the time. Love a little dab on my cheeks; looks very natural. For the lips, you really need to put gloss or something to moisturize your lips first. Otherwise, it will go on your lips very dry. Overall, an excellent product...

I LOVE Pot Rouge. Pale Pink (a bit more subdued and less blue-toned than the powder blush of the same name) and Powder Pink (warmish with a touch of beige) are staples for me. Applied over moisturizer, with an index finger, I find them easier to control than powder. Color payoff is rich but surprisingly sheer and natural-looking. No greasy afterfeel and staying power is impressive. So why isn't this a 5-star review? The new packaging reduces the amount of product you get by almost two-thirds so I'm lamenting the switch. On principal, I should have resisted buying more colors, but I wanted to try the new Fresh Melon, so I gave in. The peachy shade will be nice and -- well, fresh -- for spring. But a lot less blush in exchange for a mirror and a hinged lid doesn't equal progress, in my opinion. Even those of us who reapply makeup in public (I'm not one of them), can you really see what your whole face looks like with a mirror this small? The old packaging, while giving a lot for the money, also allowed a peek of the color inside. So a fab product and definitely worth a try, with caveats. If you've never used these before you won't know what you missed with the previous, more generous size/packaging, so dive right in!

It kills me that BB keeps messing with the AMOUNT of product in their products, frankly- they're just not adding up anymore. I love the pot rouge formula, but it is monumentally disappointing that BB finds it necessary to plummet the amount of product from 11ml of product to 3.8ml, add a mirror and keep going on it's merry way. This is still a little more than what's in a lipstick in BB's lineup, i just don't get the MASSIVE loss of product and mind you- no change in price. Disappointing, to say the least.

This is a terrific product! I love the new packaging too. Just a few taps of your finger, smile, and apply it to the apples of your cheeks; blend outward toward your hairline. Add a little more if needed, you won't overdo it.The colors will scare you silly when you first see them--don't worry! They are soft and natural looking when applied.

Based on the compelling reviews about this product, I could not resist...and I am no novice to the world of cosmetics. "Fresh Melon" was my choice thinking that this would work well with pink or coral lipcolors. How disappointing as this has almost no color and has a white base. Also reading that the volume of product is now less in favor of packaging is another disappointment. Yet another tiny mirror ...why? I am thinking to stay with powder blush as I like more real color as well as powder on top of toner, antioxidents, sunscreen will last longer.

I have no problems with the new size of the pot rouges. The other one had SO much product in it, I wouldn't have used it up in a year using it every day. I'd get bored with the color b4 I ever used it up, so I'd just get a new one. I love using stuff up in a timely manner, and now I can! The colors are also softer, and more natural looking. B4 I couldn't get a natural flush. With these new PR's, natural application comes much easier. I like it!

I love this stuff..always have. I have used it for a few years but I have to ask...WHAT HAPPENED TO THE AMOUNT OF PRODUCT?? I used most of the previous product and always felt that I it was a good deal, but now I am left wondering why there is so much less. I do have to reapply this during the day but that never bothered me as there was so much and heck don't we always reapply makeup at some point during the day... I wish BB hadn't decreased the amount but I STILL love the stuff!!! 4 stars was for the decreased amount but the quality is what we all expect from BB!!

I've been using BB products for about two years. I've bought several of their products but my FAVORITE product has to be the Pot Rouge. It is a cream blush (or lip stain!) that blends so beautifully into your skin. I use it mostly as a blush because it is a bit drying on my lips (I tend to be sensitive). The color is creamy but doesn't wear like a cream color a la halloween makeup. It blends awesome and feels light, not greasy. I can't stop mentioning the blending factor. And, most importantly, it lasts all day long. Blushes tend to fade in all mediums. I've bought Cabo Coral, Calypso Coral, and Raspberry. By far my favorite for my tan skin is the Cabo Coral for day and Calypso Coral for night. Raspberry is great for a wintery look with a darker lipstick. I highly recommend.

I just LOVE this stuff. I am 56, and have been using a mineral powder for blush according to BB instructions on how to apply. But I saw her using this cream blush on TV, and I fell in love with the look. It looks more natural than powder. I bought it in Rose, and it is perfect match for my skin. I use it on my lips as well, and it is a polished natural look. So pleased with this! I love this color so much that I am getting her lipstick in the Rose color, easier to carry around. I love pot rouge. I have four colors, and my last visit to a BB counter convinced me to add Fresh Melon to my collection. This shade warms my medium skin beautifully. But I have one little complaint. Even though I quite like the new flip top container, it holds far less product than the old containers, nearly 1/3 the amount for the same price. I'll continue to buy the product, of course, but now I'll run out more quickly!

I must say that I have never owned a pot rouge, but finally decided to buy in to all the hype and try it. I researched the colors and reviews like crazy as I was purchasing blindly online without trying. I had selected another color and then decided on pale pink. This product is fantastic! I am a brunette with brown eyes and the color gives my cheeks a natural flushed look. I was worried about the blending aspect, but am very pleased. The color looks bright in the pot, but it's gorgeous on. The best part is applying it on my lips. It has real staying power and the color looks different on the lips than on cheeks, but goes great together (very natural). I am so happy I made this purchase, no regrets at all!

I bought this in calypso coral. My foundation color is golden. It took me a while to find this color since it was always out of stock online as well as Nordstrom. Worth the wait? I think so, although my husband hates it on my lips(he says it's too bright). Just a dab on the cheeks gives a nice color that can be punched up with a heavier hand. I liked it on my lips because it was opaque and pretty but I was told it made my lips look too big. I would like to get more colors in the future. A little goes a very long way and I think it will last quite a while.

The best cream blush

I have several of the pot rouges, and I love the way they feel on my dry skin. I'm always looking for products that leave my face feeling dewy, and this product fits the bill perfectly. I use a foundation brush to apply pot rouge, which works very well, allowing me to apply and blend without much pressure. I usually use pot rouge as a base blush, then add a pop of color with powder blush; however, several of the colors are bright enough to serve as a "pop" on their own (Calypso Coral comes to mind).I keep a couple of pot rouges in my makeup bag for blush/lip color "emergencies." Typically, I don't use this product on my lips because I find it drying, but I like that I have the option of using it as lip color should I forget my regular lip color (gasp!).One color that really surprised me is Milk Chocolate. It looks so dark and brown I never thought it would work on my light-medium skin. But it actually applies as a natural-looking reddish brown that makes my skin look as if I've received a little sun. If you've shied away from this color, I recommend trying it out next time you're at the Bobbi Brown counter.

I wear all Bobbi Brown foundation products, but the only makeup product I have ever neglected to wear is blush. That is, before I discovered this awesome pot rouge! Powder blush looks horrible on me and I've tried many cream blushes all with the same disappointing results.This product gives cheeks a great glow and gives lips a very pretty sheen. I didn't expect it to work great on lips, but the color is very bright and natural looking. It is also very long-lasting. Though I don't use this for my lips, I think this prodct is a great blush. I have only had it for about a week and can tell I will not run out for a very very long time. Each time I use it, I take a small sponge applicator, dab it lightly in the rouge 3 or 4 times, and then dab it onto my cheeks and I am done! It is very pigmented and blends very easily.

I only use the pot rouge or the new sheer tint for my blush. I do not like the way powder blush looks on me. I use the pale pink which is bright pink but it goes on very pretty and gives me that natural flush. This gives a dewy glow to my cheeks. I do have to admit that I liked the older version better than the new one. This one is almost a gloss consistency rather than the older one but I still love it!

I've been using pot rouge in pastel pink for nearly 6 months now and this product is by far the best cream blush that I've come across. It's formula is superbly blendable and the perfect way to create that natural, heavenly almost ethereal glow that women envy and men love. Ever since I've started using pot rouge, I've been pleasantly surprised by comments from not only friends, family but even random people when I go out! People are wondering how I'm suddenly "blooming". It is fabulously long lasting, the color is buildable without looking caked on. When I ordered this online, I was initially worried whether pale pink would show up on my olive skin tone. In reality, it is not a pale pink, but rather a bright pink that looks extremely natural and my skin seems to be emanating a rosy glow from within. I've used cream blushes from other companies previously but the results seemed a little more caked on and artificial in comparison to those of pot rouge. It is much longer lasting than powder blushes (especially for those with combination to oily skin types). A little goes a long way. I use 1 dot on the apple of each cheek and sometimes even 2-3 dots per cheek for more coverage and a "flushed pink" look. (Lighter skin tones will probably do with just 1). After 5 months of daily usage, I'm nowhere close to half way through the jar. On a side note, im also thrilled that this cream formulation hasn't given me a breakout on my usually sensitive skin, despite the fact that it contains castor oil. So ladies, if you're looking for that dewy goddess glow, you'll be hard pressed to find something better than pot rouge!

I've never tried pot rouge before and i wanted to try it for the first time so i bought Fresh Melon & Pale Pink. I love how i can just dab and go but it's a little hard for me to make it look more natural since im putting it on the apples of my cheeks! It's a little hard for me to blend it when i have a full face of foundation and powder on - so i dont look like a china porcelain doll

I am a new Bobbi Brown customer. I bought one of her books a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I saw Katie Holmes in a recent magazine spread and saw BB's products and thought I'd finally splurge. I got the Pot Rouge in Uber Beige as a recommendation from the online help and I LOVE IT! It puts the perfect color on the apples of my cheeks, a perfect brownish pink rose is the best I can describe it, and I love that I can use it as a lip color as well. I've never been happier with a cheek color and it's so easy to apply and I only need a very small amount. Thank you Bobbi!

I really love this product because it gives me a natural blush without giving others the impression that I'm wearing too much makeup. My skin has been breaking out recently and I have to use very heavy foundation and powder to cover things up so I was looking for a product that would give me the same effect as a powder blush but with a more natural finish. This is exactly what I wanted. I apply it use just my finger tips, after applying primer all over my face and I use foundation and compressed powder on top of it. It stays on for more than 12 hours and gives a beautiful glow. Absolutely love it.

I am an olive toned African American woman. My skin tone is somewhere between Beyonce and Faith Evans and I have a Mediterranean olive-ness to my skin, so trust me, it's hard to find the right blush. That being said, when I wasn't pinching my cheeks to add color, I was trusting the advice of non-black olive toned women. It didn't always work -- until I stumbled upon Bobbi Brown's pot rouge in Calypso Coral. This color is a heaven send for my complexion and skin tone. So ladies, if any of you have my strange coloring (ha!) and are looking for blush, try Calypso Coral. (I should note, it's not a good lip color on me. I use something akin to the Blushed Rose instead. I told you my coloring is strange.)

I tried Blushed rose first and it was too dark for me. Petal pink seems just right. I have fair skin and blue eyes. This is more neutral than truly pink.Artists very helpful to select colors when you are not close to a store.

Powder Pink Perfection

Powder Pink is such a natural, flattering shade on my pale skin. Porcelain is my foundation shade, and the Powder Pink pot rouge gives a nice pop of color, but still looks soft and dewy. Easy to apply too and lasts all day. So glad I found this!

pros:

I have this one in pale pink, and in the pan it looks much different than when it is applied. I have never used it on my lips, but it is absolutely the most perfect cream blush I have ever tried. I have dry skin, and this blush is perfect for it. I just apply the blush with my finger tips, blend, and the color stays true for the entire day. This blush is very easy to apply and blend. I plan to add more colors to my collection!

Unexpected color

I purchased the Powder Pink Pot Rouge as recommended by a BB artist. The actual color has a strong element of orange to it and doesn't look pink at all. I found it hard to apply smoothly on my cheeks. I admit that I'm no make-up artist! The pot rouge looked an orange-tan color on my cheeks and was not becoming at all. Overall, I was very disppointed in this product, but have loved all the other BB products I have purchased.

My Favorite Blush

I've been using powder blush for years, but I've gotten tired of the look of powder in general and prefer a more dewy finish. I tried several cream or gel blushes and had trouble getting them to look natural. And then I found Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge. My search is over! It goes on easily (I use my fingers), and it isn't as intense as it looks, so it's very natural. (You can add more if you want a more dramatic look, but you have options, which I love.) Finally, I went with the Fresh Melon after trying on several shades in person. (I wear Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15 in Beige and have pink undertones, if that helps.) I've never gone with a peach blush before, but wow, I love it! Highly recommended.

New Packaging Contains 1/3 the Product

I purchased a new shade of this cream blush after having bought the Pink Raspberry shade a few years ago. I like the product, but I couldn't believe it when I compared my old blush to my new one- the newer packaging only contains 1/3 the product that the old containers held, yet the price stayed the same. The old container held .38 oz, while the new pots hold .13. I'll be returning this on principle.

Powder Pink

Powder pink is a beautiful shade. A nice pop of color on my cheeks over the Deep bronzer I use. After I condition my lips with BB lip balm, I dab powder pink lightly over my lips and then use the crystal gloss for shine. Perfect everyday lip color. The color Raspberry was recommended because I wear the Almond foundation shade...I didn't like it...too dark for my personal tastes. But powder pink, perfect for every day & weekends. Love it!

I recently purchased the Almost Bare special edition set (which is a fantastic set that I use for after my gym workouts to have a fresh look and go back to work) and received the Uber Beige pot rouge. Thought it may be too greasy and the color would be off but I loved it. Not greasy at all for my oily zone. Since I keep my set in my gym bag, I wanted to get another pot rouge for home use. Really love it. I just dab it on with my fingers and blend and then use a thin powder on top. Great natural look for weekends on-the-go.

The line couldn't be applied very thinly, not changed to be so or "adjusted" in any way. To remove it, remover and two face washings still left residue of the product. So, yes, "Stays on Forever." Not always what you want.

If I used liquid foundation regularly, I would give this a 5/5 stars. I love the color (I got Fresh Melon), how easily it blends, and the longevity of the product.HOWEVER. I have oily skin, and to counteract that, I dust some mineral foundation on over my sunscreen in the morning to even skin tone. Trying to put this on after powder is not my favorite. I have to do twice the blending, and not use as much color. So I end up skipping foundation some days because I REALLY like the color, but I still feel like there's something missing.Maybe I need to switch over to cream to powder, or something, but I find this works better for my "low maintenance" days when you're confident enough to skip foundation in general, but still want a fresh, dewy glow.

I am very happy with this double duty product. I have dark blond hair, blue eyes and warm ivory skin. I orderd the powder pink after chatting with the on line artist and the color is great. I use a mineral powder foundation and apply the blush with a make up sponge. A little goes a long way. I just tap the sponge in the pot and then on my cheek area and finally blend it out. I then set it all with a sheer finishing powder. I was afraid it my make my oily skin break out and or make me look too shiney. I have not had any problems with either. The blush looks very natural provided you don't use too much. It also works very well on the lips. The color is just enough to enhance them and it doesn't have any after taste. I also have had problems with other lip products giving me blisters because of ingredients or overdrying. This product has not.

Cream blushes have never worked for me until this one.I have large pores which always made this type of product a "no." Pot rouge goes on smoothly and gives a nice flush of color. One does need to experiment to see how much works. I do find it fades a bit after I put it on.I own Uber Beige which is exactly a beige. I own Truffle which is a deeper pink and one can use too much.I do wish Bobbi would bring back Stonewashed Pink. I can wear either cool or warm tones and Stonewashed Pink goes with all. This blush stays on until I take it off. I don't recommend it for lips and it is not enough color and too drying.

This Pot Rouge is by far the best cream blush on the market. Being sheer really makes it look so natural, almost glowing from within! It lasts all day, and it does not take much. I am very very porcelain fair. (probably Alabaster if I wore foundation) I purchased pot rouge in Raspberry....It's magical. It's an intense color, especially for someone with my skintone, but I prefer a blush with some pigment to get that china-doll-effect. But guess what? You can *contour* with this! I have cheekbones now! I apply with a brush, lightly tap the brush twice in the pot and apply it where the hollow in my cheek would be (if I had one) blending up to the apple of my cheek. So the color starts under my cheekbone and radiates up for a healthy flush like you get from being outside in the cold. I love the formula, when you use a brush you can really control the placement but it's sheer and forgiving enough to look natural.

I simply ADORE this product for my cheeks. I apply it every day for a natural looking blush and it lasts all day! Love love love! However, it can be quite drying on the lips and doesn't give much pigmentation. Also, the smell is not very pleasant so having it right under my nose isn't very nice either. It's O.K. though because I had mainly purchased this to use as a cheek product ! :)
