I know, an oxymoron, but really that is what this brush does for me. I can do a quick smoky eye--lighter for day, darker for night--with this brush. I just pick a medium pigmented shadow and use the brush to go over my eyelid and under my eye. It always comes out perfectly. Of course you can always do more, and this brush can be utilized for other looks, but when I have to get makeup on fast, I always use this.

pros:
I'm not a huge fan of this brush because it's difficult for me to be exact with it and I haven't been able to master the "smoky eye" look. Since I tend to use all-over eye shadow and then outline in details, angled brushes work best for me.

pros:
I use this when I use a shadow liner, I smoke the liner out a bit and then add the gel liner to intensify. It find that it is a tight brush and gives a nice look, while still smoked out, if that makes any sense.

I work on television and a smoky eye is my go-to look. I always cleaned my lid color off of my basic eye shadow brush, before coating in the crease color and praying I didn't end up with a spray of crease color all over my face. With the eye smudge brush, the time it takes to finish my on-air "look" is cut in half. Now, the crease shadow always lands in the right place, even if I'm only half paying attention to the application. Thank you Bobbi!

This is one of my favorite eye brushes from Bobbi and my go-to for everyday eye shadow application. It may be intended for smudging but I use this for general shadow application and creasework as well as smudging. I can also do 'shadow liner' (aka lazy person's smoky eye) with this where I swirl this brush in Velvet Plum Metallic shadow (or your fav smoky shadow) and run it around my entire lash line top & bottom. This is a great little multitasker.

This brush is tapered and dense but I think what makes this brush a winner is its softness. I love putting on shadow on my crease and taking the time to swirl under by brow bone and then bring to the top of my brow bone. The softness of the brush doesn't irritate my lid and the brush fits perfectly on the contour on my lid. Love it.

This brush is fabulous! It's so handy for getting eyeshadow precisely where you want it in the crease. I didn't think I'd need it at first but had a chance to use it recently and just loved the way it handled. I've learned a lot about proper, skillful, and creative makeup application just by experimenting with different BB brushes. This is a great everyday brush; using it makes eyeshadow application go quickly and easily. A must-have, now that I understand its super-powers.

This brush works like a charm! I use it for my crease and for smudging my harsh shadow lines. It picks up the perfect amount of shadow and does superbly well at smudging my shadows together.This was one of the first brushes I purchased and it helped me learn how to do my crease and create different effects.
