I bought this shadow in both Ballet and Silver Moon. I'm in my mid-50's, and many women my age might shy away from what they might think would be "sparkly eyes".The way I applied these shadows, though, was to use Bobbi's Eye Blender Brush and a light touch. I also lined my eyes with gel liner (a must if you're wearing a pink shadow or you'll look like a tired rabbit!) The effect I got was very flattering, best described as "fresh". Don't be afraid to try this.

Best Sparkle Eyeshadow Ever

For many years I have been a huge fan of sparkle eyeshadows. They really do a great job of brightening the eye and giving that special look. In general they only came in loose powders which are messy and a pain when traveling.I bought this eyeshadow in Ballet, Mica and Sunlight. They are all wonderful and look wonderful alone, blended together or with other shadows to create that unique look.The fallout on these is minimal to none which is *amazing* for sparkle shadows. They wear well too which I love. My new favorite... only negative is that they are limited editions. I hope Bobbi Brown will consider keeping items like this around for a very long time.

This sparkle shadow is absolutely gorgeous! They had run out of it at my local dept. store so I had to order it from another store via phone and I am so glad I did. I got this in silver moon with the granite long wear cream eye shadow and the combination is gorgeous with black eyeliner. I would like to see a wider range of colors -- this is such a beautiful shadow. Ladies, does Bobbi rock or what?!!

The Sparkle Eye Shadows are really well made, finely milled powder products, yet there is only little fallout. These shadows add dimension to any eye look, they prettify daytime office appropriate eye makeup as well as more dramatic evening looks where you would like to add more oomph. They even worked well on my mother's more mature eye lids, therefore, regardless of age, I highly recommend to give these a try. Glad to see them back, and in such beautiful new shades. Hopefully the most successful shades of the sparkle shadows will make it into the permanent collection.

I am always wary of sparkle eyeshadows because most look too adolescent, but these sparkle shadows are subtle, light and beautiful. I bought all 4 Uber shades and they work together beautifully. I also combine them with the matte versions of the same shades for a variety of looks. The shadow stays on without flaking or irritating my eyes. The shades are basic and natural looking for everyday wear right into evening. Great product!

I was so desperate for this eye candy that I couldn't wait to order it thru BB that I drove clear across town the minute I found out that my favorite store had it in stock. This can be applied according to how intense you want it to look. Or used in the inner corners of your eyes to give it a nice pop. This sparkle eyeshadow has many great uses and I look forward to including this into my fall make-up lineup.

The sparkles do not overwhelm...even someone in her 60's can wear it and feel like a grown-up. Nonetheless, this eye shadow provides just the right amount of bling for those of us who still like to sparkle and shine.I'm still waiting for them to bring back the silver shadow that I missed when it came out earlier...but will enjoy the two colors I have while I wait.

I ordered this in cement and it's a great neutral color I think anyone could wear. The sparkle is nothing like glitter, just a nice bit of eye-catching light. I could use some technique help, though. If it isn't the bottom layer, it doesn't seem to stick to my eyelid very well. And even though I was very careful, some sparkle went on my cheeks. Not all bad, I guess. I will keep this and work on the application. I recommend it!

over time the all the sparkle falls on your face and below the eyes so i suggest using a shadow base/primer before applying this shadow. It's somewhat creamy like in texture and it si BEAUTIFUL at night. The sparkles are stunning!!

I purchased this in cement and I must say that I am very pleased with it. I love the quality of Bobbi's eye shadows and this is no exception. The color is so versatile and the sparkle in it is stunning. There is no fallout and I love that I can use it during the day or evening with just a little more layering of the color. I use the chocolate shimmer ink with the cement and the look is very soft and pretty. Highly recommend!

I have been a fan of Bobbi Brown's makeup for years. I usually stick to a more neutral palette. I saw the new sparkle shadows and found them to besubtle but adds a pop to the eye. I purchased bone, cement and taupe. You can create several looks by combining matte and sparkle shadows.

I got this in cement and it's gorgeous. the sparkles are extremely fine which results in an elegant yet glamorous effect. I recommend using your fingers to apply. I first tried using a brush with this sparkle eyeshadow and it came out too sheer. The effect of using my fingers( I think a sponge applicator may be similarly effective) was spectacular! Love this eyeshadow.

I'm over 50 and ALWAYS stay away from shimmer, glitter, sparkle at all costs! The SA was wearing it and she was over 60 and looked great in it; she made me try it and I am so glad she did. Finally.... I got the pop I have been looking for! I bought the cement and it can be layered almost any color.... it literally made my eyes sparkle with a very subtle elegance!!!!

I hesitated to buy this shadow, because at 35 I feel like I'm too old for sparkle eye shadow. However, the makeup artist at my BB counter convinced me that I could pull it off. I bought a pan of "bone", and I have to say that I am amazed and pleased enough with the shadow that I will be buying "ballet pink" as well. It's just enough sparkle that it brightens up my eyes, but it's not so much that it looks like glitter. There was very little, if any, fall off as well. I noticed with my daughters' sparkle eye shadows that we buy at the drug store, there is usually more sparkle on their cheeks than on their eyes where they apply the shadow. Not so with this shadow. This is really a beautiful eye shadow, and very versatile. The BB artist showed how it looks beautiful when applied over other shadows.

A BB MAU used cement sparkle shadow over the matte cement shadow on me. I did'nt know if it would look way to much or for someone a lot younger than 53yrs old, but the color was subtle,works w/th anything I wear, good for daytime, good for night also, and works w/th many other shadows too. It looked so good, just brightened up my eyes w/th out overpowering them. It looked so elegant & gave me the pop my eyes needed that I bought ballet pink, mica and the other colors except the gold and I will buy the black chocolate to use for a smoky eye as an on line artist suggested! Don't be afraid of these as I originally was they are elegant sparkle shadows for grownups of all ages! You can't go wrong, & versatile too! Ask an artist about all the things you can do w/th these and see what they can do for you, they can go as subtle or bold as you want so don't avoid them they're too good & beautiful- ESPECIALLY BONE, & SILVER MOON ON THE INNER CORNER OFTHE EYES & THE BROW! I just got the new lilac sparkle eyeshadow and I love it. These eye shadows are wonderful. Depending on the brush you use you can control the color payoff. The texture is almost creamy. This really can add such dimension to your look. I was nervous with color at first because I wear more neutrals but, you can really add a lovely contrast to your eye look. This is a great shadow.

I have mica which I wear all the time so I broke down and bought cement and wore it on top of the malted cream shadow. Boy am I in love with this combination. I got so many compliments on it today that I just had to review. I even got told by a guy at work that I looked like a princess. I just love these sparkle shadows and how they add a little flair to my eyes. I love how they just add a little class and not so much glitter and shimmer that it is too much. Bought the Gold Star and the Black Chocolate shades, and absolutely love them. The Gold Star is a little sheer, but the Black Chocolate is absolutely perfect. I am mid 60s and still like to "shine" from time to time, but this is subtle enough even for a grand mom to wear. Love it, and please don't stop making these colors!
