At Bobbi Brown Cosmetics our mission is to do what we can to help improve the lives of those in our community and beyond.

Whether it's empowering a woman looking for employment or providing meals to a child struggling to survive, we believe in using our resources, passion and energy to raise awareness and effect meaningful changes.

When asked why she devotes time to these philanthropic efforts, Bobbi Brown's answer is simple and heartfelt: "I love helping others because it feels good."

On a year-round basis, we donate considerable funds and in-kind support to the following organizations:
Dress for Success

As a makeup artist, Bobbi Brown knows all too well how much a woman’s appearance can be tied up with her self-worth. And for many disadvantaged women reentering the work force, it’s increasingly hard to look the part.

Since 2000, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has worked with Dress for Success to help women-in-need get their independence and self-esteem back. Dress for Success provides its clients with interview suits and career development advice. Afterwards, every client receives a one-on-one beauty lesson and bag of makeup essentials from a volunteering Bobbi Brown makeup artist.

In conjunction with Bobbi’s regular appearances on QVC, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics makes contributions of $25,000 to Dress for Success.

Broome Street Academy

"If I wasn't a makeup artist, I would have been a teacher. Nothing inspires me more than seeing kids realize their full potential," says Bobbi.

Since 2001, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has enjoyed working with Jane Addams High School in the South Bronx.  Bobbi regularly participated in the school’s Principal for a Day program, and, with the help of her team, was able to revamp classrooms, provide laptops for students and offer summer internship opportunities.  Over the 10-year partnership, the brand helped to significantly improve the school’s facilities and support the students’ education.

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics will continue our mission to help students in need gain valuable experiences both in the classroom and beyond by announcing a new partnership with Broome Street Academy (called The Academy for short), a tuition-free public charter high school in SoHo, New York.  Most of the students who attend the school are foster children or homeless, all looking for a second chance to get a good education and hopefully make it to college.  The Academy helps these students achieve a Regents Diploma to prepare them for advanced studies.  Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has adopted the school with the belief that all students, when adequately supported, can achieve anything they set their minds to.

In the immediate future, we will be supporting the Broome Street Academy by volunteering our time, hosting office tours, sending executives to the school to guest lecture, donating products and supplies and hosting fundraising events. We are excited for what the future holds as we begin building long-term and larger scale partnership opportunities with The Academy to help make a pretty powerful difference.
